This Hotel is one of the few that is actually on the beach in Biloxi. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook several meals there while venturing next door for dinner. There are several restaurants right next door offering a wide selection of food. The staff at the Hotel was amazing. I loved the living room and kitchen being separated by a door to the bedroom. I cannot say enough great things about this place, only that I will be back again!

My husband and I spent 3 nights last week. This was our 5th stay at this hotel. Over the past 5 years there have been some great improvements but also some big problems. First let me say that the hotel is beautiful and the location can not be beat. The improvements: the wifi has gotten much better. I didn't have any connection issues during my most recent stay. Next, the pool is much more clean and clear since a switch to salt water. Last, there has been an attempt to upgrade some of the furnit... Read more

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in a 2 bedroom 1 and a half bath suite with full kitchen. If you want a room facing the ocean I recommend getting a 2 bedroom, 1 bedrooms have a side view of the ocean. I absolutely love this place. Very neat, clean, the staff are wonderful! One day we returned back to the room and the cleaning service was finishing up our room... I had a dirty cup in the sink which I intended on washing later but noticed she washed it for me! To a previous comment about the beds... Read more

This hotel was very nice. Large room with 1 1/2 baths and a washer and dryer. Great location, right on the beach. Staff was friendly. Only downside was the price of the mediocre breakfast. However, Waffle House is right next store, (better meal for the same price).

Had a great time here. Nice clean rooms. Only compliant is the owner takes up a handicap parking spot without any handicap plates or tags. They should have his/her own spot and leave those spots for their customers.

We had a beachfront, two bedroom room, the second bedroom was extremely small with no windows or views. The overall size of the room was good and view from the balcony was great. We only had to use the kitchenette for keeping items refrigerator and preparing breakfast for one meal. The location is very close to restaurants. I will still keep this place as my place of choice when traveling to Biloxi.

My family and I stayed at the South Beach Hotel during Memorial Day weekend. The highlight for me as someone who travels constantly across the US was the Hotel staff. From Monique at the front desk, Bambi at the outdoor bar, and even Layton who heads up housekeeping services, we couldn't have been more pleased with the way were treated. I actually canceled our reservations at some of the local casinos to continue our stay there. The pricing was reasonable, including at the bar, and the South... Read more

Had a great stay at South Beach. The location was amazing, the room was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. Judi at the breakfast bar was fabulous! So friendly and accommodating. She rocks! South Beach rocks! Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed the stay and the location is top notch. It's one of the very few hotels on the beach side of the highway in Biloxi. (excluding the casinos) The King Suite my two girlfriends and I had was roomy and had most of the basics. It was nice to have a kitchen with utensils and dishes, however we didn't cook. The coffee pot was mismatched in brand and we couldn't make good coffee for our morning balcony sitting. Had we been willing to get dressed, there was complimentary coffee on the third f... Read more

We stayed at the Boloxi Beach Hotel for 3 nights. The room was amazing and the facility was perfect. We had a one bedroom unit with a well appointed kitchen. The staff went out of their way to make sure things were just like we wanted. The 3rd floor restaurant was a nice surprise. The "bar food" was very good. They made great mixed drinks and had a good variety of bottled beer. A buffet breakfast was served for an extra $6.00 per person. It was so-so and like similar to the free breakfast bar a... We came for my son's birthday and we are more than pleased with this hotel choice! It is directly on the beach...not across the highway. Our suite had a full kitchen and 1.5 baths which is extremely helpful. Our sunset view was incredible... so if you are not reserving a gulf-facing 2 bedroom ...then I think requesting a room on the 'West' side is a much better option. Every single staff encounter was great, with everyone being friendly AND helpful. We will definitely be staying here many more... Read more

Well as you can see ceiling covered in black mold. Management couldn't care less. We stayed 4 days and the non flushing toilet finally fixed on third day. Definately won't be back and passing info on to the board of health. Used to be a nice place but they seem to have given up on it. Only got toilet fixed after stopping a maid. Front desk never sent anyone. Black mold is a health hazard and they never even acknowledged my complaint.

Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. We did have to call each day for the correct amount of towels and as others have mentioned, the towels are very thin. There were not sheets for the sofa bed, but we had our own. I'm sure they would have brought them up if we would've asked because they did bring the towels quickly when we asked each day. There is complimentary coffee that was great!

When we first arrived to the hotel I wasn't sure what to expect on the inside as it looks a little older. Once inside checking in I had a temp debit card which did not have my name on it however the charges had already come off the card, the girl at the front desk went to speak with someone who at first would not come out to speak with me. The girl said they couldn't accept the card due to they couldn't verify it was my card and was determined it was a prepaid card and not a debit card issued fr... Read more

Chose to stay here based on availability of a suite with king size bed and sleeper sofa and the hotel's proximity to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum because we were attending a concert there. Came from Baton Rouge, LA and drove through pouring rain and lost time from a dead battery on the way. By the time we arrived to check in we knew we were going to be pushed for time to eat and get to the event. Check in was extremely slow though it was blamed on slow computers. The room was ok and clean ... Read more

This was my second visit to this hotel, and was almost as pleased as my first visit. I had a room on the top floor with a full ocean view which could not be better. My room was clean, although it did show some wear from many users over the course of this summer. The staff I find to be extremely friendly and helpful. Chelsea and John at the front desk could not be friendlier. I ate lunch at the level 3 and enjoyed my meals. Thomas and Miss Brooks were extremely friendly at the bar/dining exp... Read more

We stayed here while trying to get to the flooded areas of LA. The hotel is clean and the lobby decor is a 1950 Miami Beach feel with black and white photos of that time and an aqua blue and white upholstery. The rooms were very nice and comfy with sofa, fridge and microwave. The staff was friendly. There was some confusion with breakfast. It shuts down at 9 and several guests missed it. Some thought it was free while others were charged for it. The breakfast waffles were very good. There was al... Read more

We (6ppl) stayed in the two bedroom suite that was facing the beach. It was a great view! The staff were helpful if there was a problem, ie frozen railings in the freezer and a missed cleaning service. They were prompt in assisting us and making our stay pleasurable. There is a cafe on site, but we cooked in the kitchen (mostly for breakfast). Wish there were more of a variety of kitchenware. The strange thing is there was a four top dining table, but the suite was designed for 6 ppl. The pool... Read more

Second night in Biloxi, we stayes ar South Beach. Check in was a breeze (after the front desk located the screw up from Orbitz, and the young lady worked HARD at it!). Upon entering the suite (800 sq. ft) I noticed a half bath in the hallway. The living area was not lavish, but was impressive. nice seating area, very well maintained full kitchen and a balcony with both city and beach views. We were on west side and were treated to spectacular Biloxi sunset. The bedroom was large and comfortable,... Read more

This is the only hotel on the beach in Biloxi I travel to the Biloxi/Gulfport twice a month on business and this is the only place I stay. The staff is great, rooms are incredible whether you have a ocean view or a street partial ocean view. I usually stay for a 3 days to a week per visit so I always stop and get a few groceries because there is a full kitchen in every room. I'm on the road a lot and prefer to have a home cooked meal instead of eating out every day. At night you can see all ... Read more

I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and I fell in love...this go around was not that great. The room I stayed in was low rate!!!. The floors were disgusting...they were terribly dirty. There was old blood on one of the pillows for the pull out couch..which noted that the pillow had not been washed or clean or checked. The room looked and smelled musty. We stayed at South Beach during cruisin the coast for four nights. It was awesome ! We spent a lot of time on the balcony , it was hard to leave that view! There are five restaurants in walking distance , which was very convenient !

The room was great, full size kitchen, there are 4-5 restaurants in walking distance. Had a great balcony. The downside to me is the Pool is basically in the parking lot and the beach while gorgeous the water will only come up to your knees. Certainly not the hotel's fault but if you are looking to swim, the whole area seemed the same. We were driving from Marco Island Florida to New Orleans and this was a great 1/2 way point.

This used to be a condo complex but was converted to a hotel after Hurricane Katrina. The rooms are not typical hotel rooms, more like residential condos. Equipped with a full kitchen with plates, utensils, cooking stuff, etc., living and dining room and depending on what unit you choose has a separate bath for each bedroom. This was a daddy/daughter trip. We choose a two bedroom. Beds were good, unit was clean, has a washer & dryer. Best thing other than the price is it's one of the few h... Read more
