I don't usually stay at Hilton hotels. This was an experience for me. Upon arriving, the lady working the front desk was very nice and helpful. Then, the evening refreshments available was an unexpected treat. After a sudden, long day's travel, it was a welcome surprise. My room was very comfortable and accommodating. The breakfast was very good the next morning, as well. Given competitive rates, I would absolutely stay with Hampton again.

With Oxford and Ole Miss a half hour away, this seemed like a good option because Oxford had no rooms available. But it was one of the worst of any Hampton Inn we have stayed in. It was not just the jackhammers from 8 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. that was a turnoff. The front desk staff was not incompetent and did not even greet its patrons. They simply stood and waited for the customer to ask for help. The Hampton Inn group will continue to get patronage, but they need to fix this situation immediately... Read more

We have been staying here each time we come and the staff/hotel is just what we needed and more for the price and location. We appreciate the hospitality every single time. When in Batesville, Hampton Inn is the place to stay, no doubt. : )

Although it was my business trip to Batesville and been told stay in Hampton Inn, the hotel turn out to impress me so much during my stay. Friendly staffs, facilities are great. The restaurant, petrol station and supermarket are just around the corner, very convenient and less worry during my stay

When we arrived the hotel was under renovation. No big deal except we did not know. The main entrance was closed and it took us a few passes to find the right door to go through. The pool was not opened due to the construction. Staff were helpful, but not glad to see us. I only have 1st world complaints. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

I never thought I'd write these words, but the Comfort Inn is probably a better choice. The lobby was being rebuilt, which didn't help, but the breakfasts were the usual Hampton Inn plastic eggs. I ended up going to Burger King across the parking lot.

The hotel is doing some remodeling to the outside of the hotel. It did not affect the quality of the stay which was excellent. Clean rooms, bathrooms and very helpful staff. Easy location to main highway. Great breakfast buffet and also had a great evening appetizer available that day.

I wish I could give it a 3.5...4 seems too high but 3 is definitely too low. This hotel is undergoing an outdoor remodel... hopefully the rooms get the same attention. Our room was very dated and needs some attention. Everything else WAS typical for HI....friendly staff, clean room and public areas, the bed was GREAT, and breakfast was typical for the chain. Note that the pool is currently closed, probably due to the remodel. We would probably give it another try if we were ever passing this way... Read more

The hotel had some construction going on. We arrived after dark and it was a tad bit confusing to find the drive and the alternate entry but once that task was completed check in went smoothly. Room was a new e arrival temp as it was hot that day. We slept well (which is hard for me to do away from home). Room was clean and as stated online.

On our way to Biloxi area, we over-nighted here. Arrived around 9 pm and was able to get a room. They are in remodeling right now and did a good job of making you aware of what to expect. We found the room clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning hit the spot just right with eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, cereal, fruit and bagels/toast. For me, it's the little things that help to make a visit somewhere special. The "happy kit" that we were given as I was checking out hit that on the ... Read more

At the time of our visit, the hotel was having exterior renovations done. The main entrance was blocked off. This was a minor inconvenience, but there were a lot of workers and they were quite loud at times. The pool was also closed. Otherwise the room was nice, although it seemed to be an older property. The breakfast choices were plenty, both hot and cold. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had stayed here on a previous trip, which is why we chose it again. And we would certainl... We stayed one night at Hampton Inn, Batesville on our way to Memphis. The hotel is under renovation, but we knew that up front. The rooms are a bit dated, but nothing that would prevent us from staying there again. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the complementary breakfast was excellent. All in all, for the price of the room, it was worth the money.

I have been going to this hotel when ever I visit Batesville since 1994. Very little has changed, been repaired, cleaned, etc. The first room they put me in would not get cold. They had the maintenance person look at the AC unit but he said nothing was wrong. That took two days. Then they moved me to a room that the AC unit did work well on, but the inside of the window was covered with a white mold or something. You know you are in Mississippi. From the moment you come through the door, you are greeted with warm, welcoming smiles and assured that you are a treasured guest. My past stay was disappointing. To be fair they are renovating. However the renovations to be completed in a month do not include the actual rooms. The carpet stained and dated. The sofa extremely dirty. Odor. Simply stated I will not be back. I am a Hilton diamond member and this is one of the worst properties. No value for your money.

Hotel staff were very friendly; our king room was clean and comfortable. We stayed on Hilton points, and the 10,000 point cost was great! There were only a couple of things that were an issue but overall the experience was not bad. The rooms are great, but the air didn't work perfectly and it was hot outside. Once we went outside the lobby door we weren't able to come back in because the room key reader on the outside was not working properly. They have Wifi but it doesn't give you much signal once you are connected to it.

Stayed at Hampton Inn, Batesville, MS during family outing on the Polar Express Train Experience in Batesville. Picked Hampton because of comfort of rooms, beds, bathroom and the breakfast they provide to guest - there is none better. From the looks of the guest in breakfast area, my idea of staying over at Hampton was not original, there were plenty of families there who had also come for the Polar Express experience. If you plan to do the Polar Express too, stay at Hampton Inn.

Horrible hotel. They double charged me and the room was disgusting. If I wasn't so tired from driving long hours I would not have stayed. There were human hairs over back of toilet and bathroom floor, crumbs of all sorts around the floor of the headboard, battery acid in the tv remote, refrigerator rattled, and black mold all around the room(especially the bathroom). I will never stay at a Hampton inn again.
