It was late and we needed to find a place near Canterbury, this was close and convenient. If it wasn't for the time of night, I would have never stayed. The lobby is very deceiving as it has been updated but the room we stayed in was very far from being updated. Thank God we didn't turn on many lights until morning, even with the lights on room was very dark, light bulbs needed to be replaced and the lamp shades were way too small for the very outdated lamps. My suggestion is to leave the lights... Read more

We booked a poolside room to celebrate my son's birthday. We had a few friends and family join us at the pool. There was more than enough room for all of us, as well as other guests of the hotel, without any crowding. Our bday guests all made positive comments as well, saying that was a great place to have our party, big space, comfortable, large pool, etc. It appears that they are working on updating and it's looking better and better each time we go. The staff was awesome....super friendl... Read more

We had to make a last minute rez at this hotel for a concert. We were given their 'HANDICAPPED' room (NUMBER 105 FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!) It was abominable. It has a murphy bed which is filthy behind the headboard. There is an entertainment unit at the foot of the bed, preventing any kind of wheelchair from getting through. One chair made up seating. There is a sliding door leading to a patio strewn with garbage and a ripped off screen propped against the outer wall. Cigarette butts everywh... Read more

We attended a concert at the Mystic Lake Casino~ the rooms at the casino were ot of our price range. After a little research I called this hotel, they were very pleasant and answered all my questions...I booked a room right away with them. We were very impressed with the staff and the room. We had a king suite...very clean and more than what we expected for the price. We were 4 miles from the casino and just took a cab there. We were also not far from Valley Fair and across the street from C... Read more

This property needs to be torn down. There were holes in the floor covered with plywood, doors missing and the room looked as though it hadn't been cleaned. The staff is the only reason for 2 stars, as they were friendly and attentive.

This hotel has been there a while and is working on updating it. I found the staff helpful and caring. The shuttle was great to Canterbury. Our room was clean and the beds firm and comfortable. The Arizona had good food and excellent music.

The hotel is adequate. It's dated, but our room was clean. It looks like they half started to remodel, but stopped. The chain lock was rusted and not useable. We were just on a stopover and didn't need anything grand, but I was concerned that they photocopied my drivers license and my credit card, stapled and left them on the counter. Not secure... AT ALL. Room was near the pool and we could hear the ice machine. We didn't have breakfast. Everything was basically empty at 8 am when we went in. ... Read more

Stayed there in June and accidently left my jewelry in the room. I've been calling for weeks trying to get ahold of housekeeping. Left voice-mails, emails, spoke to the front desk and I'm always promised a call back. Not one call. It's my fault for leaving it, but I just wish someone would at least answer one of my calls to confirm if it was found or not.

This hotel may be worth it for around $50. I paid $122 for a room. The room was outdated and not as pictured online. My room stated I would have a balcony but instead I had a window with a tree blocking the entire window. The room was 50 degrees when we arrived. I went down to the front desk to have the room changed but they were fully booked. I requested they bring sheets without holes in them but they had no spare sheets. The pool area looks nice in pictures but was not clean during our stay. ... Read more
