The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. There is even a small kitchenette with stove and fridge. I accidently booked the hotel for the wrong date (I was a day early) through Hotels.com; but the Candlewood Suites staff were very accommodating and helpful to assist getting my reservation price straightened out with Hotels.com. Overall this is a very nice and quite hotel. You can check out free movies as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Great staff! Hotel was clean and comfortable. Rooms are large and comfortable. Pet friendly, free guest laundry, (first time I have ever found this) this hotel is the perfect choice for an extended stay. Everything you could want or need is within a couple of minutes. Mall of America is only 5 minutes away. Highly recommend this facility.

We only stayed one night before heading out of the country for a week. We paid extra for the stay and fly option to leave our car while we were gone. The shuttle only runs from 8-4 so we had to taxi to and from the airport for early departure and late arrival international flights. Taxi was approx $25 each way disappointing when we paid extra for parking and a shuttle we couldn't use. The room was clean but the hallway stunk of pot smoke and there were partiers yelling in the hallway and slammin... Read more

The rooms are incredibly spacious and the staff was friendly and hard working. The rooms are quite dated (maybe from the 80's, with a touch of modern renovation in the bathroom), but honestly, for the price, location, and amenities, I didn't mind. It felt more like entering into someone's Airbnb vs. a hotel room. Why do we have different standards for hotels compared to people's apartments? If you compare your stay to an apartment instead of an updated, modern hotel, you'll be pleasantly surpris... Read more

This hotel was very convenient for me location wise. It was also near to where I could get all the things I needed during my stay. Although I was only there for 1 week, I made use of the rooms facilites (microwave, fridge) preparing simple breakfast, etc. The gym was also usefull.

We were in town for a wedding and spent the week here. The rooms are set up like small 1 room apartments (we had a queen 1 bedroom) and are very spacious and efficient for a couple. They have a small but complete kitchen with a full size refrigerator, 2 burner stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and in-sink disposal. Bathroom was nice size with excellent water pressure and not too many signs of it's age and plenty of room for our toiletries. Overall the property is clean and well maintain... Read more

We were on a road trip en route to Canada and booked this hotel using our IHG rewards points. Hotel is no frills but that's what we were looking for. Check in was smooth, room was very clean and recently renovated. Free parking, Wifi was good, free laundry. Would definitely stay here again if in the Minneapolis area.

I stopped at the hotel for a two night stay, before flying to Toronto. I used my time near Minneapolis mainly for visiting the Mall of America. For that purpose, the hotel is ideally located. It is minutes from the airport and minutes from the Mall of America. There are several amenities that you can now find in the Candlewood Suites brand - free wifi, free laundry, a lending locker (where you can borrow movies, board games, etc.), a small shop (for supplies for the kitchen), and an adequate gy... Stayed for a weekend trip to Mall of America. Clean, reasonable, roomy. A bit on the noisey side, pets allowed, very basic amenities. Only complaint was room smelled of cooking spices from previous occupant. No breakfast available, but coffee free and nice workout room. Close to Mall of America and Twin cities!

My husband and I stayed in a one-bedroom suite for three weeks. The rooms were remodeled in the past few years and kept very clean. The room was spacious with lots of storage and the full kitchen was great to do some of our own cooking now and then. The free laundry room was so nice to have, especially since it was open 24/7. The wifi was recently upgraded and fast. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating is that it can be loud at times, espe... Read more

Great value. It pays to stay away from downtown. For less money, we got a suite with a full living room, kitchen area, and separate bedroom. Free parking. No breakfast, but plenty of opportunities near by...Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, Brueggers Bagels and more within easy driving distance.

All of the staff were courteous and highly enjoyable. The room was great value for the price. Ended up needing stay a few extra days and they were able to accommodate no problem, even though other area hotels were fully booked.

This was a perfect little spot, with lots of amenities available (movies, games, small appliances, etc). Full size fridge was nice. Did not have any lotion, though! The area was nice and near a shopping area. Would stay here again!

I wish there was an option for zero stars. Because even one is too much. I stayed at this hotel only because it was for a work trip, and free. When you walk into the lobby, it is small and uninviting. They is very rarely anyone at the front desk, so I hope you don't have questions and/or concerns. Also, they do not provide housekeeping services unless you stay more than 4 days. And if you want fresh towels, well, you have to walk down to the desk and request them. So, I hope service is not one o... Read more

i have stayed 10 days with my family. though the rooms are well equipped the maintenance is outrages. at least twice the air condition was out of order, carpets dirty with stains, no cleaning schedule, washing machine and dryer half non functioning. when one complains the stuff talks as if you are a criminal, does not listen. all they care to keep the contracts with companies whose employees stay there-mostly very low levels. many drunk persons making nose knocking on your door and the staf... I stayed at this place because it was the only spot I could find due to a major, once-in-a-lifetime golf experience where foreign golfers compete against golfers from the United States. The competition was being held across town in Chaska, MN. This place was very convenient to the interstate/food/shopping and my nearby relatives as well. I arrived here on the 28th of September and stayed for seven days. They tell you at check-in that because I was staying for a week that daily maid service would... Read more

I stayed in a one-bedroom suite. First thing I noticed coming up the stairs was the smell. Someone must have been cooking something awful. Go into the room, the smell is still there. Yuck. After getting over the smell (or maybe it went away or we got used to it), I liked the hotel much better. Was pretty much a no-frills kind of place. It was clean and we enjoyed the space. Would I go back? I don't know.
