we booked a room with two queen beds to accommodate 4 people. but we were told at the reception at check-in the room is reserved only for one guest. Weird Infact we were a group of 5 (5th person was a last minute addition) and the manager was kind enough to give us an additional room at no extra cost. so kind of him. The Shower was a bit too low and if you are tall you would definitely have difficulties. The indoor pool was ok so don't expect too much out of this place. Its a basic hotel in a... Read more

Clerk not to be found, lobby had foul odor, hallways dark, wallpaper coming off the wall, everywhere. Not enough towels inroom, dark, dingy. Mold on light in bathroom. Foul sewer-like odor when toilet flushed and throughout the night. Air conditioner extremely loud.

I am allergic to mold, which was plentiful in the room. As soon as we opened the door, we were greeted by a terrible smell and I immediately noticed mold not only in the bathroom, but also on the wall in the main room behind the bedside table. You had to stand on a particular spot in the shower because the tub was soft and it felt like you were going to fall through. I regret spending money here. The front desk guy was nice and my boyfriend said the breakfast selection was very minimal. Seemed l... Read more

We stayed at this motel only because all others in the area were filled for the weekend (literally nothing else available). It's definitely a tear-down motel, or at least, should be completely renovated at a minimum. Very beat up interior, dark, and a definite odor when you walk in the lobby. The worst part was our room. It had a very strong urine odor (VERY strong). No other rooms were available, and we didn't want to cut our otherwise awesome vacation short to leave, so we stayed. On top... Read more

There were some updates since our last visit but more are needed.Improvements to the room included new beds, bedding and furniture. I do the "white glove test" at hotels because I've worked in Environmental Services for 30 years. Need to do work in bathroom. Floor tiles broken. Dirt or mold build up in corners on floor. Faucets and mirrors need to be replaced. Management is friendly. Basic continental breakfast. Coffee was good. We were able to get in our room even though we arrived early.

While this hotel is in need of a little updating the customer service we recieved was outstanding. The manager let us look at the room before deciding to stay there. I've never had that happen before. They also allowed a later check out as we didn't need to leave right away as our next stop didn't open until noon. The room was clean and the bed was decent. For the customer service I would stay there again.

The location was close to our venue and was across the highway from Perkins. The hotel is an older unit but our room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sparse and could have used more items.

Rodeway Red Wing: It‚??s a Rodeway, Choice‚??s lowest level brand, where it often seems like the motels are almost intentionally bad. As long as you understand that, this place is fine. Hot water was very good, wifi was spotty at best, room and sheets were clean, everything in the room worked. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Negatives: by modern motel standards, you could write a book; by Rodeway standards, none. Value: it‚??s the cheapest place in town. Rooms were 1/3 the price of th... Read more

Stayed here because I love the Godfathers Pizza next door! It was a typical visit to a Rodeway Inn. The hotel was clean for the most part, hot tub are was a bit "rotten" as moisture had done a number to the woodwork - but we enjoyed the tub, anyways. Tried the pool, too, but it was too cold to swim in. Gal on night shift (thinking she may live in one of the rooms, due to the fact she came down from an upstairs room every time you paged for help at the desk) - she was friendly and did what sh... I found this hotel online. The pictures looked nice and what not. We got there and the first thing is no one is at the front desk, you have to ring for them. The place was dirty. When we got into our room that is when the nightmare started. It was like a suana in there. We had to turn the heat completely off, open the window and eventually turn the AC on, mind you it is the end of November. The smell in the room was gross. There was a short in the wires for the lamp. MOLD EVERYWHERE. S... Read more
