The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was great, had lots of attention, (just right, as I was solo) and all the employees I encountered seemed interested I was taken care of. The room was a very nice size with nice amenities, coffee, etc. The closet was large enough and the bathroom was well laid out. I would stay again.

We came for a girls weekend ( 4 ladies) and had an absolute blast in the city! When we entered or room, all for of us were in tears laughing at the size of the beds- they certainly are smaller than a standard double. Needless to say, sleep was tough. Other than that, the hotel was fine. I am sure there are other hotels downtown that cater more toward providing guests a bed that sleeps two comfortably. We'll sleep elsewhere on our next ladies adventure.

This hotel is aesthetically pleasing. The walls of the halls are stepped, matching the outside of the building - much more pleasant than unbroken lines of the usual hotel hall. The rooms are well appointed. One thing missing is a fan/heater in the bathroom. The two concierges I spoke with had trouble answering my questions about the town.

While I've never had the pleasure of staying at The Marquette, I have used it for business meetings, and I've always been extremely impressed with the quality, the cleanliness, and the luxurious-ness of this particular hotel. It's located right downtown within easy walking distance of restaurants, nightclubs, and the like. On various occasions I've been here and used some of the meeting facilities during press interviews. I've always found them comfortable and classy. During one press junket, I... Read more

Great property and location. Terrifc room but don't expect a heavenly bed. The beds were good but not the softest. The overall stay was great but a little rough around the edges. The front desk mangers not so helpful but the gen staff was awesome. Room was super clean and quiet but the ac was weak and there was burnt ring around the shower lightbulb that was burnt out. Probably just anomalies. Anyways great stay would def stay again.

Myself and a few of my friends stayed the night after my bachelorette party. The location was perfect, just around the corner from everything! The staff was wonderful and accommodating. They truly made us feel welcomed and valued. Our room was perfect, it was a wonderful meeting place for our group of people, perfect size. It was clean and exactly what we expected. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any occasion!

The staff was very accommodating, pleasant and helpful. Room was very spacious and clean. Location is great, close to metro which was easy to access from airport, no need to rent car everything is in walking distance. Our trip was to catch a few baseball games and a day trip of the city. Location is perfect for the field. We enjoyed the green bikes, took a bike ride around the chain of lakes, beautiful. Accessed the metro to go to mall of America.

I stayed here over a weekend with my wife and really enjoyed the hotel. We were especially grateful to Bailey for helping us procure a great room. The hotel recognizes Hilton Diamond members with upgrades, lounge access, and breakfast vouchers for Basil's (which can be used for whatever you want) on weekends when the lounge is closed. Patrick was also very helpful in helping me figure out what was going on with the Wi-FI in my room. Definitely enjoyed my stay here and would visit again!

The Marquette Hotel is the hotel in the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis. It is connected by Skyway to all of downtown, so it is very convenient. Just off Nicolett Mall, it is also a pleasant stroll (weather permitting) from much of downtown. When Nicolet Mall is not a big construction site. I was upgraded to a corner room on the 19th floor. I was here for a bachelor's party, and the hotel handled 12 drunken men with admirable aplomb. The staff were quite helpful in locating our suite away from the other members, which allowed us to be rowdy without disturbing other people. They also handled the influx of vehicles and somewhat less than coherent guests with wry amusement.

Many of the hotel details did not meet our expectations. Several loose handles. Knobs falling off. Water faucets loose or not working. Light bulbs burned out. Refrigerators not working. The Marquette is a beautiful hotel and had just about everything you would want except for free wi-fi. I can understand that there is not a free breakfast downstairs because that would probably bring down the "niceness" of the hotel, but at this point I think asking people to pay for wi-fi is kind of unneeded. Besides my issue with the wi-fi, the employees were very friendly and I liked the bar downstairs. The parking was relatively priced in my opinion.

I thought the rooms were very nice and both had great views. My only complaint would be the cost of parking. We found much cheaper parking a block away after paying $22 to park next to a car detailing operation in the bottom level of the ramp - kind of odd.

Awesome location in down town Minneapolis MN. The hotel is very nice and a very spacious room and well maintained. However, the amenities stated a fridge in the rooms. Our room did not have one. The day we checked in we asked the staff to get one added. No fridge was placed in the room, nor did we ever get a notification that it wasnt going to be possible.

The Marquette is my home away from home when I am in Minneapolis. They are under new management and have started to make noticeable changes. The executive lounge is now open on weekends again with upgraded food and beverages. They have also started to update the rooms. Some of the old faces are still there, but the front desk staff seems to be ever changing but hopefully that will settle down and there will be a familiar face who will recognize me as well on my next trip.

This hotel has large, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff are all very friendly. It is also near everything downtown. I would not spend money on the "executive" floor however; the area is very small and understaffed, and in my opinion what you receive for the evening snacks and the breakfast is not worth the extra money.

Spent 2 nights at The Marquettte on business. The room was very large and well decorated. Really enjoyed everything about the hotel. As a Diamond member I had access to the Executive Lounge. The breakfast was very good and fresh. In the evening it was easy to grab a drink and packaged snack (pretzel/potato chips in bags). Missed the usual snacks that are available in most lounges in the evening. The lounge was nicely decorated and comfortable.

Stayed on the executive level (17th floor) and the room was very nice. The executive level lounge had very specific hours for being opened, so was unable to view it. The hotel is in the heart of downtown and close to many bars, restaurants, and shops. Reason I'm giving this hotel a 3 is because the front desk lady was not nice. The concierge and the room staff were pleasant, but whomever the lady was at the front desk was extremely rude. Hotel is very nice!

I stay in the Hilton family when possible and after a bad experience last time at the Minneapolis Hilton, I decided to try this and was glad I did. Very nice comfortable room (Alcove King with sofa), nice stall shower, great views and close to shopping and restaurants. Only snag was arriving in the evening and cab dropped me at the closed entrance through the office building attached, rather than around the corner on 7th which is the real entrance. Not the hotel's fault!
