I stayed here 5/16/16. It was my first time at Hyatt downtown minneapolis. I was very impressed with the decor & the cleanliness of the hotel. I had booked this hotel on booking.com because it was $10.00 cheaper. I had reserved a king standard room. When I came to check in, they told me that booking through a third party website doesn't guarantee your room, so i ended up with 2 double beds. I felt the employee was rude but then she made up for it by giving me a card for a free drink at the bar... Read more

We had a crew of 10 people who came down for a weekend of baseball. We reserved the room that had 1 King and 2 queens. Our entire group were very pleased the hotel on our first impressions. Very clean, nice looking hotel and friendly staff. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in but we did come early. By the 3 o clock check in our room was ready to go. While waiting we did get a drink and some food. The flatbread was very good and the nachos had a lot of toppings. Food tastes good and was a r... Read more

I wish I took photos of my room, it was literally the size of a small home the room was separated and had a living room and bedroom it was just missing a stove and I coulda lived there!! Beautiful hotel and amazing location close to some great bars, nightlife and scenery. I even felt pretty safe walking in the city alone late at night. Shout out to ALEXIS at the front desk for her recommendations and hospitality! The photos featured are from the city and a couple grubberies nearby.

Stayed here for one night of visiting downtown, before continuing with my weekend trip. Chose the hotel based on its name and proximity to being able to use the light rail for transport from the airport and around town. Walking from the light rail station, was a bit surprised at how poorly the building seemed to be marked at ground level - as I was expecting a stand along/new hotel building as most Hyatt Places seem to be. Was a bit bemused, to realize as I entered the building that it was ... Read more

First time for me to stay in Downtown Mpls.. My first impression was great upon check-in. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. From directions to recommendations of where to eat. Each day I was greeted by the staff which made me feel very welcomed. The location is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The morning breakfast offerings were not so great but was to be expected. I will stay there again.

The hotel staff was courteous and friendly at check in. I am on a budget and they suggested the street for overnight parking as an alternative to the parking ramp. Thank you for that! The lobby has a clean, open feel and the rooms are contemporary, clean and comfortable. I give the beds a thumbs up, very comfortable. The hot tub was small and the chlorine vapor rising from the thick foamy layer on top stung the eyes and was not acceptable. The breakfast buffet looked impressive, the eggs w... Read more

Happy with my stay. The wife and I came in for a wedding and we were treated very well. The room was huge and very nice. The king bed was comfy. The hotel location is pretty close to everything. They had a small gym with a few of treadmills and set of dumbells going up to 50 lbs. If I go back to MN, I will return to this hotel. One things that could be improved on: -breakfast was just OK. While every one was very nice at the hotel, my room smelled of smoke and other unpleasant smells. We also had food at the bar and the food was just ok. While the service was friendly, one set of utensils was dirty and one of the bar tenders had food stains on his shirt. The lobby was dark and unappealing. Again the folks that worked there were nice, I have not complaints about them, but the location was lacking.

Would not give us late checkout of even 30 minutes, and pounded on the door to push us out at 10 minutes after checkout time - found this rude & unacceptable to do to one of their members, especially as it was clear they were not even prepared to clean the room. The location is great for going to a football game or working downtown and the rooms are quite big. There is lots of room to spread out and a great indoor pool area. The gym is small but enough to keep you busy for a small workout.

We booked the Hyatt for the night of Luke Bryan concert on August 19th. Our suite was on the top floor and a great view of the city. Front desk staff gave us recommendations on where to eat and how to get around. After concert they gave us late night pizza recommendations. The rooms was nicely decorated and clean. We are definitely going to come back and stay again

3nd great experience at this hotel. Great room choices. Staff very friendly, accommodating. Only negative was during winter and the heat was too much on higher floor. Summer room temps have been great.

I called and asked for a single king size bed and I got a Suite! The room was so nice and the staff were incredibly sweet. I asked them for any recommendations for the local area and one of the staff was very adamant about Marvel Bar. Great drinks and a great bed. I'm definitely going to be staying there again.

Nice hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms were spacious and quiet, bed was very comfortable. Location was okay. Had a decent work out area which I used and the pool was refreshing. Would recommend this hotel.

The location is amazing, with quick access to the light rail, the new football arena, the ball park and the downtown skyway system. The skyway is unique in that it takes one completely around the downtown area, from the river to the convention center. No need to go outside at all, which of course in the Winter is wonderful. The hotel has some rooms with cross vent windows, and those are very desirable. The lounge space is very generous in every room, with a nice desk area and an L shaped couch ... Read more

I was very unhappy with the way my family was treated at this location. It seemed on the visit that my platinum status didn't matter. I have never heard of such a negative stay at a Hyatt ever before and I stay in them all the time. I have over 250,000 lifetime points with them and I was very unhappy with the condition of room and the hotel in general.

Great location within walking of Target Field, nice big room near light rail and bike rental stations. Parking expensive. Breakfast good. Nice bar. Restaurants located within walking distance were OK. Would have liked to be closer to the river. Would stay here again if in town.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is absolutely wonderful! The sleep quality of these rooms was great and the beds are very comfy! The hotel is just a short walk to the new US Bank Stadium which is an incredible sight to see. It's also just a short walk from Downtown which has tons of restaurants and other sights. It's also only a block away from the light rail which will take you anywhere in Minneapolis or St. Paul!

Nice place to stay for a business meeting. Standard bedroom with a living cum dining room. Breakfast every morning. Could have better assortment, as it was difficult for Vegetarian people. Has a small pool. Close to the Govt plaza transit station and the Target offices in City Centre and Target Plaza. A bigger pool would have suited the brand name.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in September. The hotel is a bit older, but has been remodeled with more modern finishes. The hotel does not have room service or a full service restaurant. They do however have happy hour nightly, and a somewhat limited menu available 24 hours a day. The bartender Rob is extremely nice, and bends over backwards for all guests. The lobby is not on the ground level, which made getting a cab a little more difficult, but uber worked just fine. As far as th... Read more
