Stayed here for business. Easy to navigate to off of I694/94. Friendly staff who cares about your stay. Breakfast as a HHonors member was good. There are lots of options. Get a corner room if you can! Enjoy your stay in the suburbs of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Hotel is very clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Nice smaller fitness center. Close to Maple Grove shopping area and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and buffet breakfast was good. Nice lobby / lounge area.

I felt the hotel was in a convenient location to downtown and the Interstate; however, the neighborhood lacked access to amenities, i.e. restaurants, convenience stores, drug stores, etc. The hotel was "okay"...it is renovated and in places reminds me of a bad face lift. The staff however was very responsive and no complaints related to staff and service. Especially want to recognize the breakfast staff. I had to work one very early morning on my computer and they let me take my breakfast to... Read more

When we got to our room my wife noticed that the toilet had not been flushed. The bed was made, but the sheets seemed already slept in. We had pre-ordered extra pillows and towels. They were not in the rom when we arrived. We had to ask three times before they arrived. We went to a ballgame and after went down to the lobby bar. The bartender was surly and tried to ignore us. The lobby was full of hookers, making my wife uncomfortable.

Just subpar across the board. The hotel is old and has not been updated. The rooms are mediocre and there are no mini fridges so the warm bottle of water they give you at the front desk can't be cooled.

I have been here for two days now. The cleanliness of the room has been very por so far. The hotel is quite old and not well maintained. Elevators are also very dirty. My bed has not been made in two days, no kleenex at the room, no coffee refilled. Bed is not comfortable at all, noisy rooms.

This hotel needs a second round of renovations. It appears as though this property did just a minimal renovation. There is still an out of date feel to it. The bar and restraunt seem to make up their own hours regardless of what is posted.

I stayed here for one night after a late flight on my way up to Brainerd. Really unimpressed. We got in late due to a delayed flight and there were a few drunk people stumbling around the lobby. Not the hotel's fault but kind of an annoying start. At check-in, they didn't acknowledge my Hilton Diamond status (and they were out of cookies!) but we just wanted to get some sleep so weren't looking for any upgrades anyways. They also did not give us our breakfast vouchers so had to come back by... Read more

Can tell it was ran hard before its remodel but aside from the slight musty smell it is very nice especially for the money! Do not hesitate to go here.. You get a $200-$250 kinda room for around 100 bucks!

I am a Hilton person...highly endowed in their rewards program and a total supporter of the properties...this hotel is unfortunately not meeting standards...what I consider for Hilton/Doubletree or for my wife and I. Room is nice, clean, but not that step up you would expect...we have a refrigerator and microwave in the room, yep sitting on what appears to have been an end table right next to the couch...big dresser/chest with cabinet doors large enough to hide both, but you hear the constant h... Amazingly poor for a DoubleTree property. Checking in was clumsy and skipped all the usual recognition of a Diamond member and the amenities--as if I was a bother. Granted it was after midnight, but still. Once in room, found that there was no soap, no shampoo, the hand lotion bottle was half empty, there was an empty wine glass on the TV stand, only one towel in room, and the glasses in the bathroom were wet as if they were just rinsed out and placed in the bathroom. The next morning I starte... Read more

Room 210 - empty beer cans on window sill, large hole in screen, red spot on floor, no hand towels. No free breakfast which really sucks. I didn't think there was such a thing any more. Reported problems to desk and was told there was nothing they could do. We were there for a wedding. The bridal party had to switch rooms when they were getting dressed because of wasps in the room. Room 412 also had the same problems we did. I would have left my comment card in the box by the desk, but, I... Read more

I think Paris Hilton might at some time many years ago have considered kennelling her dog in this hotel, sadly her dog would not be too happy to stay there now. He might like the fact that the carpets are already stained so if he had an accident it may not be as obvious, but he may not like the mildew on the shower curtains, the machinery outside that sounded like a large truck idling all night. I think he might have like the staff who under the circumstances were soo pleasant, helpful and polit... Read more

Let us Start with the positive. Upon arrival the lobby is nice & desk staff were very friendly and welcomed me to the property. Room was very quite, I never heard the road I was on 11th floor. Breakfast either buffet or order from menu. Though I have seen better buffets from DoubleTree hotels before. Mario was great he remembers you & knows what you want. Now for the "fun" stuff : 1. If you check in at night from outside the Coke machine in lobby will draw your attention. Kind of tacky for D... Read more

Many will call me crazy for giving this place for stars. But a little perspective. This property has carried more flags than the United Nations in recent years, lastly being a crown plaza. So in comparison to my last stay as a CP this is a Night and day change. I still had issues like some hair in the shower but overall it was actually a pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly and they get five stars They need to change the parking lot lights to a light sensor instead of a timer, as this prope... Read more

The lobby bathrooms were filthy, as were the rugs in our room. The toilet didn't flush properly. There were holes in the screen and a wasp's nest outside, so we couldn't open windows. There was no hairdryer or fridge. The room never got cleaned. The hallway was noisy. There was only ONE towel in our room. This room was way too expensive for such a horrible room.

No fridge, no microwave, loud as hell with banging doors and adjoining room, staff kept waking me up though I sleep during the day (even with the do not disturb sign on it), the only good thing about the hotel was the free internet that would randomly shut off while using it. I'll never stay here again. Or at any other Hilton.

Old and tired and need of some refreshing. Service was average to good; but the rooms are in need of work. The location is close to Freeway which is OK for airport. But I would not stay here again and it would be hard for me to recommend.

The halls were cold, the carpet stained, the room cramped. I could hear snoring coming from the adjoining room. I would not recommend this place until they remodel. It's not what I expect from a DoubleTree.

Starting with an unlit parking area to the dirty carpet and glass, the hotel felt run down. Add no room service menu and having to go downstairs to the restaurant to order, then followed with poor food. Include a missing hair dryer and less than smiling front desk staff and you get a poor stay.

The worst! Toilet flooded 4 days in a row. Takes an 1 hour 15 minutes for a burger. There are gnats at the bar. Housekeeping is loud and ghetto. Kenny from maintenance is really great. Stay away from this place coming from a honor member of Hilton

This Doubletre has updated its lobby and some physical aspects of the hotel. It's time to improve housekeeping so they don't lose clients due to dirty rooms and shabby bathrooms. Beds were clean and comfortable, but there was a potato chip from a previous guest that was never cleaned up. The bathroom was shabby. Mold great in one corner of the shower, the shower curtain had holes and was missing a ring, and towels were minimal. I expected better, and I have received better for what we paid.

It's fine for a night. However, there's room for improvement. We had two rooms between our group. One had a clock, the other did not. Both rooms were clean, and I thought the bed was comfortable. One room was rather small, but that didn't bother me. Only two bath towels in the room with two queens, which had three people sleeping in it. Pool area was good, although I didn't see a hot tub. The staff was friendly.

This hotel is very old and shows it! Carpets very worn. Employees not very friendly. They didn't bother to clean our room and when we complained, we still didn't get housekeeping service. And while there under a family wedding rate, we were overcharged and I had to contact hotel for a refund. The walls are very thin and we could hear the conversations of other guests! Overall, not a good experience!

Every other hotel where I have stayed come standard with refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. This hotel not so. I was given a very tiny old stained one, then another door-needed tape to stay closed.

Horrible place and horrible food. I arrived and they gave me a dirty room. Which I have pictures of everything. No shuttle driver on any shift. The restaurant serves microwave food according to the staff members. Horrible tacos, horrible frozen pasta, and horrible microwave newyork steak, over price for that horrible food.

I had a business trip and was glad this DoubleTree was close to my client. I even suggested a co-worker stay because I had always had a great experience. The room had trash in the bathroom and on the chair. The pen and paper tablet was stuck to the vanity, which had visible streaks from being wiped with a washcloth, disgusting. The hand cream in the bathroom was 1/2 full and chewed at the bottom. I was too tired to change then, but at 6 AM I asked for a room change. I got a new room, showe... Read more

Not up to the Doubletree standards. Poorly maintained rooms. Dirty mirrors; dirty glasses in room; bathroom doors were dirty & spotted; no towels in pool area until you called the front desk; broken handles on dresser in our room; poorly working heating/cooling system in the rooms. This hotel is very clean everywhere, and the staff is great. My niece held her Wedding reception at this establishment. My niece said not only did they beat all the competition pricing, but the staff was even better then herself about all the details. My mom is elderly and they had handicap rooms and made sure I was next door to her in case she needed help. They even found my coat and held it until my daughter could pick it up.
