Restaurants and bars all within a few blocks. Start the party! Very nice accommodations and the restaurant inside (Olives) has a great breakfast buffet for the money. But if you use the elevator, it is the slowest I have been in!

It is a very nice hotel. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are neat and clean. Olives is a good place to eat. We celebrated Mother's Day with my almost 90 year old mother. We would stay there again.

The hotel was clean and friendly when we arrived. We accidentally were given an occupied room at first (my daughter opened the door to a man getting out of the shower). When we went back to the desk they were apologetic, understanding and accommodating. We were immediately upgraded. Problem solved. The kids loved the space and pool.

The hotel was fabulous and the beds are great. You get to choice the level of your bed firmness. It's great for couples who just want a get away with olives being just on the first level and the movie theater right down the street.

The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mankato were amazing. They were friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful, striving to make our stay memorable. My son also loved the pool. Although smaller, it was clean, and the water did not have the over-chlorinated smell you often find in hotels. All-in-all, our stay was fabulous!

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Mankato for two nights for business. Overall, the hotel met my expectations. I knew that the hotel was going to be busy due to a concert in town. The check-in process was smooth as I had already checked in online via the Hilton app. They had my room key all ready to go, and gave me my two complimentary waters which was nice. The actual room that I was in was on the 8th floor, and it was a two-queen bed room. Room was clean, mini fridge availabl... Read more

I was surprised that locating and parking at this hotel was such a challenge. Stayed here on points, so I have some experience with hotels...the way the parking and convention center is set up--it was rather unexpected for a city the size of Mankato. With the parking garage and all that...I checked in online, as usual, for a room with 2 beds. Got the parking figured out, hauled our stuff up to the room, and there was just 1 bed. Had to haul our stuff back downstairs. They did make it right.... Read more

My sister and I surprised our mom with tickets to the James Taylor concert at the Verizon Center in Mankato and a night at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was the perfect location for a concert! We had dinner reservations at Olives, the hotel restaurant, and got to simply walk across the street to the concert venue. It could not have gone better!!! Thanks for a great memory! We are now looking for future concerts so we can come back!

Excellent staff. Room we had was okay, but the carpet needed work--it felt like it was full of soap and was sticky on bare feet. Otherwise, the room was good--beds are excellent. Came to town for my girls' track meet and was happy that there was a Hilton property in town. Charlotte at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. She was able to get us checked in a little early. I reserved a Jr. Suite in advance and the description on Hilton's site was different than the room we received. We expected a sofa bed along with a king sized bed. Stayed at this hotel when we went to Vikings training camp. It was a very nice hotel. Location was ok. Rooms were clean. The beds though are not the best. They have what they call "garden sleep" beds. These are really not anything. We used pre-check in which was easy and we were very pleased with the location of the room. The front desk staff were very helpful. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable! Gravel on floor, bathroom exhaust fan does not work (according to the manager this is a known issue for the entire hotel) and this is causing the bathroom door frame to rust, shower grout is disgusting and needs to be replaced.
