A clean hotel that is updated and comfortable. It's by far the best choice in Hastings. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and up to date. I've stayed other hotels in this area and they don't compare.

The staff at Nichols Inn & Suites in Hastings, MN were so friendly and professional during our stay in February 2016. The rooms were clean and all appliances and amenities were good quality and in working order. The donuts at breakfast were unbelievably soft and fresh. Even my little mistake with the waffle iron was handled with grace and kindness. The pool was clean and a comfortable temperature, and the area was kept tidy. Our two young daughters really enjoyed it! *We really enjoyed our sta... Read more

We came up last minute for a funeral and just needed a quick place to stay. The place was previously an AmericInn and now they have updated the lobby and rooms. It was clean and a pleasant place to stay. The breakfast was just OK. I would have liked some hard boiled eggs or something with more protein. The beds were comfortable.

Recently stayed there while attending a family reunion in Hastings. The rooms were clean, the pool delightful and the staff very courteous. The person at the desk, Pam, was very caring and observant and made sure everything in the kitchen area was in order. She almost became part of the family. Wonderful experience.

Met by friendly staff. Room was clean. Bathroom was supplied with bathroom tissue, Kleenexes, soaps, shampoo, etc. Room had refrigerator but no microwave. Breakfast was included. The lamps by bed had electrical outlets on it, making it very handy for anyone with C-Pap machine to plug in and not have to hunt behind the bed for outlet.

I booked Hastings Inn because of its proximate distance to a wedding venue. The price per night was average in comparison and it appeared to be a moderately well maintained property. The morning of the wedding I didn't feel well and had to cancel my trip - I live 4.5 hr away. I called in the morning of the date of the reservation. I had read the policy, which said that a penalty would be charged for cancellations within 48 hours. I phoned the hotel explaining the situation and the front desk... Read more

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was spotless and the service was great. Pam was fantastic, she treated us like part of her family. Thanks Pam. Driving in the owners were outside working on the landscaping and you could tell they had pride in their hotel. Also the beds were very comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and attentive upon our arrival. The rooms were on the second floor and very quiet. The entire Inn was very clean and I was especially impressed how clean the pool area was. Our rooms were well stocked with towels and travel size soaps and shampoos. Rooms were also very clean and tidy. We were going to a service the next day and upon arriving back later, our rooms had been cleaned and beddings and towels replenished. The breakfast bar in the morning was well sto... Read more

There are only positive things to say about the Nichols Inn: 100% clean, perfectly painted, great hospitality, and value. The building used to be a chain hotel and is now privately owned. The owners have done and are doing a fantastic job. We were in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and preferred staying in a small, quaint town to a large city and would definitely do it again.

Thank you for a great stay! The rooms are very clean and spacious. We had a handicap room and my son and his family had a regular room. I love that the handicap room had a walk in shower and seat. I use a power chair and those features alone made for an easy time for me. The staff were very pleasant! The breakfast choices were good. My kids loved the swimming pool and hot tub and the management even let my kids friends come swimming with us. My husband is a runner and they told us about t... Read more

This was our first time staying here. The check in staff were nice and the entrance area was clean and inviting. The room was clean and had a mini fridge. The bathroom is fairly small. The biggest issue I had was the bed. Loved that it was a king but it is shot. A new bed is needed. Overall, nice place. They do have a continental breakfast too.

We had a great experience at the Nichols Inn. We went to Hastings for a family trip with our 4 month old. The rooms were very clean and quiet, which is necessary with an infant. They were also super accommodating, offering to have a pack-n-play in the room (we declined since our little one isn't mobile). I cannot say enough about the staff, they were extremely friendly...I miss seeing them everyday over breakfast. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay in Hastings, I'd recommend t... My family and I stayed for one night and the staff was very friendly, the room was pleasantly clean. The morning breakfast was very nice. The pool was closed for cleaning, but the pool area seemed well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our rooms were comfortable. Everyone at the hotel were inviting and cordial. We had water set out for us in the morning. The parking lot was tight, but we found a parking space for our vehicles. Check out was convenient. The breakfast area was clean.

This property looks to have been taken over from a chain and has received some remodeling. We booked through Expedia and got a great rate, compared to the going rates in the area. We stayed over night as part of a night out at Treasury Island Casino - to see a concern. The Hotel is just a 20 minute drive from TI and based on rates for that evening saved over $150. Very comfy King bed and breakfast was one of the best continental breakfasts my wife or I have encounter recently. A very nice p... Read more
