We got a deal on hotwire for this hotel and I wasn't impressed. The staff was nice enough and check in went smoothly. There is no elevator, which was ok for us as we are able bodied. The room smelled stale and was outdated. The shower had mildew in it. The bathroom smelled faintly like urine. As all we needed was a bed before a 5am flight, it did the trick. I would not book myself here again. If you need a budget stay, it will do!

Had to call for an airport shuttle. Was told it would take 10 minutes. After 20 min we called to clarify the pickup spot. After 30 min we called again to find out the driver never "saw us" and was back at the hotel. They finally sent someone else. When we saw the driver at check in he seemed angry at us because he went to the wrong terminal. We asked about a morning shuttle and the cranky driver decided it was only on the hour, not half hour. When we went downstairs in the morning 15 min early t... Read more

I needed a room for an evening. I wanted a quiet location with no excessive traffic. I got exactly what I wanted. Due to a glitch in the Internet reservations, the gentleman at the desk even helped to upgrade my accommodations. The room was large for my purposes, but the quiet and solitude was exactly what I needed. Most of the desk staff were by far some of the best I've had to deal with. The lady who was working in the breakfast area was helpful and kind while being completely efficient.... Read more

Worn hotel. Small and noisy room with a very uncomfortable bed. I ended up sleeping on the floor. The breakfast buffet was a great disappointment and I will leave it at that, I checked out after one night. Granted for the area the price is not too bad but there certainly could be some improvement.

There was a line at Check In (5-6pm), staff answered the phone while trying to help me (not very professional). No elevator- be cautious for big loads. Breakfast was ok- cereal, waffles, eggs, potatoes and biscuit with gravy. We had the Suite and really??? For that much money, they had old ripped arm chairs, old microwave that one side was white and the other side was a total different color and a really old Jacuzzi (we were scared to get in). Room reservation process was easy and professional. We had booked a King room for two nights & when we checked in, they upgraded us to a King Suite. That room was very nice because it had a living room & a separate bedroom. It could use a little remodeling, the backing of the drapes was torn & the bathroom was not in perfect condition, but for the money, this hotel was a great deal. Also there is an indoor pool & gym area. Breakfast is included with a variety of hot & cold breakfast items. There are many restaurants & fast food places within ... Read more

On the Choice Hotels website this location looks a lot newer than it is in person. Although the room was clean and had a fridge and microwave it was showing signs of age, walls were all marked and bathroom shower had mold. Pool almost burned your eyes out, they must just pour chlorine in by the bucket every day. It was so strong you could smell it through out the hotel and you could only spend a short amount of time in the pool area, water was also cold. Breakfast was waffles plus egg and sau... Read more

Clean rooms, great pool and fantastic staff. A walk to the supermarket and chemist. The shuttle to the mall of America is very easy to use and th bus drivers are great. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff have been. There good restaurants close by. Laundry and gym are handy. The included breakfast is good too.

The staff was friendly, the pool was amazing, the breakfast was good, and the room was big and clean. If you plan on paying with cash and just holding the room on a credit card, bring an extra $50 for the deposit. That was the only thing we didn't know about. Other than that, it was a great hotel.

Been staying here since it was the Holiday Inn Express. I had hoped there would be improvements but as I suspected there really hasn't been. About the only improvement are new door locks. Housekeeping is hit and miss. All the carpets need cleaned and they really need to remove mold from the bathrooms. Sheets, towels are getting very worn. We stayed here the night before flying out of the Minneapolis/St Paul Airport. The park and go system was really nice. When we arrived we let the person at the front desk know when we needed to go to the airport. The shuttle makes its runs from the hotel on the hour and takes about 20 minutes to get to the airport. The driver was friendly and helpful. When we returned to the airport 6 days later, we called the hotel and they dispatched the shuttle to come get us. 20 minutes later the shutt... Read more

We checked into this hotel on June 21st for two nights. We were visiting the Mall of America with our 2 grandchildren the next day. Upon entering the room we found a king size bed and vanity in a separate room, a sofa sleeper, and a roll away that we had special ordered. Everything looked clean. There was also a round table for snacks or games. My grandson hit the shower after a long 10 hours on the road. We stayed at this hotel last summer and it was OK but this summer things have gone downhill. The room smelled musty and the bathtub is gross and was dirty. The beds are very worn and too soft. The breakfast was empty at 8 am with people standing around looking for food and the juice was empty also. Other guests were commenting about the lack of food as well. We were planning to stay 2 nights but left after 1 and won't be back

My family of 5 stayed here for a week. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They offer a breakfast which is very good although I would recommend they do something about the eggs because they were undercooked. The shuttle service was great and helpful. Everything you want to see as a visitor is within 20 mins. I would recommend the hotel offer a list of good places to eat. We got tired of fast food quickly. Check in and out was smooth and fast thanks to booking on TripAdvisor.

Wow! What a great way to end 18 days on the road. We reserved a King Suite with a 2 person hot tub. It was truly the largest 2-person hot tub I have ever seen. The jets all worked well, and there was track lighting above on a dimmer switch. Very comforting after a long day. The king bed had a pillow-top mattress and slept very well. We've been in 22 U.S. hotels this month ranging from High end to extremely affordable. Many are imperfect, but this was unforgivable. We were extremely disappointed and, quite frankly, grossed out at our room. There were dried boogers on the white wall near the desk - as a parent of 3, I am confident my assessment is very accurate on this! The ceiling in the bathroom was fully dotted with black mildew. No, I wasn't wanting or expecting a refund or discount when I called.
