This hotel is a gem and can easily give some of the more pricier hotels with more stars a run for their money. The room was huge and clean. We will come back for sure to this hotel when visiting Minneapolis.

We had our granddaughter playing volleyball at Minneapolis Convention Center. This was easy to get to and to leave from. We had room service dinner -- filet or tenderloin steak, with wonderful potatoes, good salads. Mine was cooked perfectly (rare) , my husband's was overdone for rare, but still good - reasonably priced for that type of meal. We also liked the two room layout, allowed one to get up earlier without waking other. After all that good stuff, a BIG disappointment was having ... Read more

The atrium is gorgeous as you first walk into the hotel. Hotel staff are very friendly. Rooms are very clean and beds are ok but having each room a suite makes this a great place to stay for a family. Because we were with a hockey team we got a breakfast which was very good.

We had a very lovely stay at this hotel; almost hated to leave. Everything was perfect; the service was exceptional, the bed was very comfortable, the king room (suite) was spacious, the toiletries provided were quality products and the hotel itself is beautiful. If you have a vehicle, parking is free and it is a short drive into Minneapolis.

My wife had a two day conference at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest. I had a couple of days off from work, so I decided to join her. First of all, let me tell you the hotel is gorgeous!! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the front desk staff, welcoming you to the hotel. A very nice touch. The atrium is very nice and it is open all the way to the top, with the rooms all the way around the outer walls. We asked for and got a king room on the 2nd floor. We did not have to wait... Stayed for 3 nights this week. Located out of town hotel does not have shuttle service. Courtyard style was very nice. My room on 3rd floor was spacious, clean, had everything I needed, no complaints. Bar and restaurant offering is somewhat limited but adequate. My electronic room key malfunctioned a lot but was issue was dealt with competently. Enjoyed the experience. You won't go too far wrong here.

Spent 5 days on 5th floor double with one room mate and found it to be a comfortable and enjoyable stays. Beds were nice, slept well. Room could have been a little cleaner, never saw anyone with a vacuum. One day I had to call three times to get towels. Was disappointed that they only have the one restaurant and nothing is in walking distance. The convention staff are wonderful, food too! Watched from afar a wedding in the fireside area and it was beautiful and well done.

We were traveling by the group. Upon arrival they told some of our colleagues that they do not have their reservation or that reservations are for different days - despite the fact that we had printed out confirmations. As a result 2 girls had to share a room and one guy was sent to a different hotel for one night and rest in this. I believe they simply made overbooking. It took more than an hour to fix and check in. In the meanwhile I went to my room and found out that it was not cleaned - th... Read more

The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that was the best part of our stay. We were in a suite on the 5th floor and arrived after a large storm only to find that the televisions did not work until the next day. While the size of the Suite was great, I think the housekeeping department needs an overhaul. After reading other reviews, I'm seeing other guests are finding the same thing. The bathtub was full of hair and there were bottle tops and many months worth ... Read more

This is an excellent hotel! The grounds are lovely, staff is incredibly friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable! We were really impressed with the quality you receive and how the rates compare to similar hotels in the area. In my opinion, this hotel will give you the best "bang for your buck!" Room service was excellent and they seemed to go the extra mile in presentation as well as delivery & pick-up. Definitely worth the upgrade for Concierge Level. The lounge has excellent breakf... The living area and bathrooms were fairly spacious with the bedroom area being a bit cramped with all the furniture. The overall décor was clean and modern, especially the shower area with glass wall. The shower fixture could have been a bit more robust though. There was plenty of counter space in the bathroom to allow two people to get ready. The gym near the front desk had a good amount of equipment, several ellipticals, tread mills, and bikes along with weights and strength training stat... Read more

My first impression as I entered this Marriott was one of awe, I have never been in an eight story hotel with a completely open atrium! The woodwork was really spectacular and well lit. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and our online reservations had been set up easily. We got a pretty good price on the Marriott website, and compared to other hotels in the area it really wasn't bad at all. There was also a fridge in the room! Recent Marriott stays had me wondering if they had just given ... Read more

I was impressed with the room size. That was allthat impressed me. If you would like to sleep, do not stay here. We were on the 8th floor, which is the top floor. Every sound from the first floor could be heard all night long. The elevators made a loud bang noise every time the door opened and closed. Very hard to sleep with all the noises. I guess if you like to party stay here, otherwise stay elsewhere if you want to sleep.

Overall the hotel is very nice...located right off the freeway...my only complaint is about the maid service...we stayed for 7 days...and the room was only cleaned on 4 days...and my wife actually had to call on 2 of those days...front desk was very friendly and affordable...parking is free (a big plus)....our rates came with a free breakfast (I would never pay the listed $17/person otherwise)...decent for cereal, oatmeal, and bagels...indoor pool was nice...

First off, I'm a Lifetime Platinum member, and I only say that for fellow Marriott Elite members looking for a review from someone familiar with the Marriott brand. I have only stayed here once recently, and my first impressions was that it is a converted Embassy Suites (not a bad thing!), as the lobby/atrium is very open as all 8 levels of room entrances face inward. Concierge lounge attendees were very nice, the spread was the usual. Stayed over the weekend so I also got breakfast vouchers ... Read more

We stayed at this Marriott hotel for one night while traveling to Ohio. We were very impressed with the size of the rooms and the comfort of the beds. We had a suite with living room, bathroom and separate bedroom. The only issue we had while there was with parking as they had 4 wedding receptions going on at the same time which made parking spots very hard to find. This Marriott is located in a business park, so is clearly targeted at people visiting the companies in the park. The rooms are large and appropriate for a longer stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The snacks in the concierge lounge were good and were nicely presented by an enthusiastic staff member. If anything, this hotel could use better quality control around its cleaning service. The room was not clean -- the shower was dirty, paper on the floor, sink not clean -- and the room ... Read more

Was here attending a wedding. Wine is so expensive. Other drinks are reasonable. Beautiful hotel. Not much seating area waiting after the wedding for the reception. Huge placed. Didn't spend the night. But I heard the prices are the same as the one across the street and this is a much nicer hotel. Easy to find (I'm not from the city). I wouldn't have a wedding here if your on a budget but I would definitely stay the night here if your in the area. I heard great reviews from family and friends.

The hotel was remodeled since we had been there last. It looks a lot nicer inside. The rooms and bathrooms were very nice and clean. The swimming pool was decent - the hot tub was very small and looked very cheap. The breakfast buffet was very good.

I chose this hotel because I like to stay at Marriotts. They are consistent and I know what I am going to find, most important to me a really comfortable bed. This location did not disappoint in that regard. I only stayed one night as I was headed to see family in Bemidji Minnesota and had flown in from Hawaii. After a long series of flights to reach Minneapolis I was glad to get a good night's sleep before a long drive.

I stayed here while visiting my home office and since we were also holding a leadership summit at the location, it was nice to have a room at the location, where I could take a break and safeguard my technology. The staff was very nice and the room was perfect.

This is my second visit (room 631) to this property. Having a room on the side opposite of the highway is probably a good thing for light sleepers. The spa was closed for repairs but the gym has a decent amount of equipment including 6 treadmills, 5 ellipticals and 3 bikes along with weights and strength training stations. One thing that would make it a better stay is having some type of inclusive breakfast.

This is a very nice hotel. However the night of our stay the hot tub was out and that was the main reason why I booked the hotel. The room is nice the bed is comfortable. Watch out when you book it says free Wi-Fi. The free Wi-Fi only counts in the lobby it's 9.99 four basic Wi-Fi and 13.99 for expensive Wi-Fi.
