Ever check in to a hotel and worry about your health and well being! The original room had an icky feel but I was in a rush. The Ac was blaring at 62 so I reset to 72 only to discover the room only warmed to 68 during the 12 hours I was gone. When returning to the room the next day I was informed I needed to switch rooms because they planned to shut off the water. No help here I had to move my stuff by hand to a room which was musty and had a sweet smell of air freshener designed to hide someth... Read more

This was absolutely disgustingly dirty--would not recommend it, I don't know how their doors are open to serve the public. Stained chairs and carpeting--gross! If I hadn't booked on line, I would have walked out but I couldn't get out of my booking. The for sale sign out front was our first clue.

I had problems booking a room there on line and on phone. First off no one answered their phone ever in mn and secondly i tried to book a room online and the website wasnt working properly. I never received a confirmation or response and then when i called the 1800 number they told me the price went up $10 and did not have a reservation for the same night and room for me. But i booked a room any way... When i arrived at the hotel the hot tub was broke and no breakfast was avai... Read more

We checked in. Got to our room and it had a strong bathroom smell. One of our bed lamps is burnt out. Our lamp in the shower is burnt out. One half of the inner white part of the curtain is missing. The painting frames above our beds also appear poorly constructed. And we had to reprogram our TV to get it to work. Poor first impression for our first visit here.

I read about the reviews about this hotel before I stayed at it. I only stayed at this hotel because my employer booked it. Hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Room furnishings were not up to par. Stains on chair. Could see stains on bed blanket even though it had been washed. Room had an air freshener odor that was covering something up. Had to open window to air out room. Breakfast area under construction (and looks like it has been for quite some time). Manager's response in other Trip Advisor ... Read more

when I walked into the room, the first thing I noticed was the bed spreads where covering the bottom 1/4th of the beds. The top sheet covered half of one bed, and a little more on the other bed...exposing the bottom sheet. The carpet was grimy. The bottom of the shower was dirty. We noticed they use a lot of bleach...but that doesn't get the dirt off.

I booked this room through Priceline, so when the cost was lower I didn't really worry. The reviews were mixed but La Quinta is typically a good brand. Unfortunately, the company needs to update this property, or shut it down. I'll start with the good. There was an older woman who worked evenings who was extremely nice, pleasant, and gave excellent customer service. She remembered me after I checked in and inquired about my day and how my cat was adjusting. Great woman! The hotel allows pets w... Read more

I booked this hotel through priceline and was disappointed in the value (this is not a 2.5 star hotel). Breakfast was very limited- out a of a lot of things at 8:30, staff was not very friendly and did not tell us that some of the outside doors did not work. Only one elevator which the staff used so it had limited use for guests. Room was small, furnishings out dated and damaged and bathroom is small and needs a major upgrade and cleaning.

I had stayed at this La Quinta approximately three years ago and thought it was a great value for the area. I like La Quintas because I feel you can count on them to provide a nice, comfortable room at a reasonable price. I even tease my wife about having a La Quinta gold card. So I was extremely disappointed to now find this facility in such bad shape. I first became concerned when we pulled around to the weed infested parking lot. There was litter around and even a car tire. What manager would... Read more

Not impressed with the carelessness of staff to not clean the room well, sliced screen on window and then using clear tape to fix it. Dirty bathroom walls, behind the table between the beds and mattresses needed replacing. The mold/mildew smell when using the A/C unit was bad for anyone with allergies.

Where do I start? I needed a dog-friendly place because we were traveling to MN for a funeral and had to take our little dog with us. She is very old and according to the vet, shouldn‚??t even be alive at this point. Needless to say, her health if fragile. We have stayed in LaQuintas all over the country and usually have a good experience. This was a serious EXCEPTION. We asked for a room near the ‚??dog‚?? area outside, so our little Kota wouldn‚??t have to walk far (she can‚??t do much a... Read more

Clean room at a good rate. Decent free breakfast was a bonus. Easy access to the freeway, but didn't notice any freeway noise in our room. We had a single queen room with a shower stall - no tub which was just fine for our needs.

I read some of the recent reviews and have to wonder if we stayed at the same hotel? We checked in on Sept. 15 and were greeted by two friendly staff members. Check-in was easy and efficient. Our room was 325 and we found it to be rather nice. The king bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. There was a refrigerator and a microwave. The work desk was a decent size with sufficient lighting. The bathroom was large enough and the shower was good. There was a separate vanity which had plenty ... Read more

The linens were clean and the bed comfortable. This hotel could definitely use a remodel. The staff was great and did respond to any needs we had. Though the hotel was very busy it was quiet. The carpet looked dirty and needs to be replaced.

Rooms are clean and quite. Hotel gas no restaurant and you'll need a car for the duration of your stay. Breakfast is average and same everyday! Which is quite surprising... Linens and bedding is of good quality.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The location wasn't very convenient to any attractions in the area, but we knew that when we booked. Carol at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Sadly we were too late to have breakfast on a weekday because it ends an hour earlier than the weekend.

Aside from the fact that the same day we checked out we called back to see if a pair of glasses were turned in and we were told to call back the next day because housekeepong had gone home (they do not turn finds into the office or desk). Staff didn't seem to hate their jobs or customers. They also did not seem to care about much. The first surprise was the fact our beds acted like lo-rider cars. Super bouncy! Not a pleasant ride when you are a toss and turn sleeper. Secondly,) we opted for sit... Read more

We recently visited Minneapolis for the Ryder Cup. We stayed at this La Quinta mainly because of its location. It was about 1/2 hour from the golf course. There were a number of people staying here while they attended the Ryder Cup. The staff was friendly and one night they even had wonderful freshly baked Oatmeal cookies. But we stayed 4 nights and I only saw cookies one night! The room needed some updating and maybe some paint. One day our room was not cleaned and I had to go down to t... Read more

Stayed here for one night to attend a wedding reception across the street. We were not able to check in early, which is fine. Maple Grove is only a few miles away, so we went shopping for a while and came back. The lobby smelled delicious as there was free fresh popcorn for the hotel guests. There were also fresh baked chocolate chip cookies on the front desk for guests. Stayed in room 335 which was clean. The toilet flushes very hard, which is startling at first. Door to the hallway slams very ... Read more

Dirty, dirty, dirty. My room was not cleaned - floor was not vacuumed, sink had toothpaste in it, vanity top was not even wiped clean, and do NOT look under the sheets to view the mattress pad - it'll make you sick. Items like lamps and clock were DUSTY and dirty. I can handle outdated, worn furnishings. But cleanliness is ESSENTIAL to get customers back again. They tell us they are remodeling, but that isn't going to help their poor housekeeping skills!

Some wear and tear on the room, although not bad. Could have used a good dusting. My question is why hotel clocks are never running or on time. I had to pull the bedside table out, plug it in and set it. Why can't housekeeping do that. Anyway, the big problem was the window. It was so rotted that when it rained, and it did, there was a steady drip, drip, drip onto the windowsill. Very annoying. Also, I assumed they didn't supply any soap until I went to shower in the morning and found it wrapped... Read more
