Stayed here for a few days, just to visit Mall of America. Had a couple one bedroom suites amongst families and we all close to each other. We walked to the mall everyday, even though it was 0 degrees outside. It was a quick walk and weren't affected by the blistering cold, too much. Good value hotel, easy MOA access.

A nice hotel with a great location, in case you didn't read the Title. Directly across from the LRT at the Mall of America, and close to the airport, this hotel provided an excellent base of operations for our stay in Minneapolis. As we were there mainly to see the Twins play baseball, the proximity to the LRT was unmatched. A brief five minute stroll and you can be either in the Mall of America, a retail mecca, or at the LRT station. The breakfast that is provided is pretty standard fare, and ... Read more

My stay in this hotel was very pleasant, with a helpful front desk staff. The room itself was wonderful for the price, with a good size kitchen and living room, with separate bedroom and nice dressing area outside of the bathroom. When I needed some items at a pharmacy, they had the hotel shuttle take me there and back.

It is also very convenient to the rail line to downtown Minneapolis. Complimentary hot breakfast was a nice plus. We would return to this hotel. Room was clean. We appreciated having a small kitchen in the room. Bed was comfortable. Overall, a great experience!

The location is good for a quick walk to MOA and they do have a shuttle service that runs once an hour. The suite is very well equipped with full size fridge and even a stovetop. The bed was comfy. However the noise outside was very loud (it almost sounded as if the windows were open it was so clear) and because you are near the airport you do get that air traffic noise constantly. This is an average hotel, run like any other American Hotel. The rooms were roomy, relatively clean, the lobby was good, the welcome and departure were pretty good. The breakfast was good and offered a good variety. It was right across from the Mall of America if that is what you want. I was only there for one short night and checked out early the next morning so I didn't have a long experience.

Did a reverse park and fly going to Miami. Left my car to park then stayed the night at the return. Worked great. Felt like I was running late coming to drop the car to park. I let the front desk supervisor know I was concerned and she recruited the bellman to take me off the clock just on gratuity to get me to the airport on time. Very appreciated. Nice people. We always enjoy staying at Homewood Suites and other Hilton hotels. However, they all need to be more environmentally friendly by using washable plates, forks, spoons, Knives for their meals. I am a Hilton Honors member and want these hotels to be their very best in ALL areas of importance. Thanks so much for listening! Prices need to be as reasonable, as they once were.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years. However, the last time I stayed the breakfast was awful. The hashbrowns were burnt and dry, the egg dish was also dry and tough. It just was not a good meal. I also did not see anyone come out of the kitchen. Usually the kitchen door is open so you could ask one of the cooks to replenish a dish. No one came out of the kitchen while I was there. (I was there twice within 20 min.) I stayed at a Homewood in Albuquerque the next 5 nig... Read more

We needed a place that would allow us to leave our car at a reasonable rate and get us to and from the airport. This hotel met that need and in addition provided a superior hotel stay and allowed us to use Hilton honors points for the stay.

We had a great night's sleep at this hotel. It was clean and our upgraded room was spacious and wonderful - 2 room suite makes everyone happy! A couple of things could use updating, but we are not picky and were very pleased. The staff with whom we interacted was exceptional.

Breakfast was great and plentiful. Staff were outstanding. Our suite was more than adequate for our needs. We especially liked the desk/eating area. The light dinner was appreciated, as well as the fresh baked cookies. The staff does try to make you comfortable while staying there. The daily USA Today newspaper was a great "perk". The TV in the Breakfast area was a nice " plus." The furniture was a bit worn. Too bad there was a miscommunication about when we were to check in.

We were in Bloomington to attend the University of Iowa vs. University of Minnesota football game and to enjoy some shopping at Mall of America. We especially enjoyed the close location to the Mall! We took advantage of the light rail service to go to the football game. Everything went smoothly. We especially like to stay at Homewood Suites because it is the right fit for our family!

This hotel need an update. Walls, doors, chairs etc in the public areas are worn and just tired looking. Complimentary breakfasts were consistently of low quality and not very good tasting. Shuttles to the Mall of America and the airport were consistently late. Stay somewhere else when visiting Minneapolis/Mall of America.

The price, 2-bedroom / 2-bathroom unit was awesome for 2 small families. The kitchen was a little worn. Loved all the USB ports throughout the unit (everywhere). Comfortable beds and across the street from MofAmerica.

The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Some floors appear to have been updated, however overall the hotel was clean and allowed easy access to the Mall, airport, and to the major highways to get around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

If you have children, a dog, or even a loud talker or two in your party, I would not recommend this hotel. It's clean enough and the location is GREAT, but it wasn't worth the hassle of realizing that we had a complaint about our toddler because you can hear all kinds of things between rooms and/or the hall. I could almost listen on my husband speaking and the television from across the hall from our closed door. So if you're a very quiet person who doesn't mind hearing others, this could be you... I will start by saying that the reception staff greeted me warmly and did a good job of having everything organized. They explained the hotel, wifi, etc quickly and clearly. My room included a full kitchen (full size fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, good supply of cooking utensils, and cleaning items). I didn't like the idea of the garborator in the rooms as they made way too much noise. There was a full sitting area with couch, flat screen tv, chair, dining area and desk. The desk w... Read more

I thought the price was a little high for a place to sleep, I was gone from the hotel most of three day and evening but it was a very comfortable place to stay, I had business in town that did not allow me to appreciate a amenities as I would have liked to. Overall great place, nice job.

Everything was in good working order (except a bit of a squeak in the bathroom door handle). The room was very nice, and I especially like the separate sitting room. Very easy drive or shuttle to the airport from the hotel and also some nice parks in the area (since I had a little time). The staff was excellent, even letting me into the pool for a quick swim when it was technically closed. Great breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

This is an excellent hotel and the only reason I deducted one star was for the airplane noise. Of course, the hotel has no control over that issue. Please note the planes only fly from approximately 9 am - 9 pm so a good night sleep is assured. Otherwise, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The Mall of America is right across the street. The light rail is close so this location is ideal for a Vikings game at US Bank Stadium.

This hotel property is very comfortable, quiet and offers a very safe environment. It is within easy walking distance to nearby restaurants, IKEA and the Mall of America. Homewood Suites offers appetizers in the evening on week nights and a complimentary breakfast each morning. A shuttle is available, as well as, free WIFI. MSP airport is also very close via a short 10 to 15 minute drive.

This property is in serious need of an update, from the moment a customer walks in the dÊcor and facilities looked dated and worn down. The hotel is conveniently located to the Mall of America and the airport. Being close to the airport can be good or bad depending now sensitive you are to noise. I travel with a white noise machine so it did not bother me at all but the plane traffic did bother my coworker. Homewood Suites hits a home run again. I have stayed at Homewood Suites on a couple occasions and they are always a good stay for the dollar. They are not the cheapest place in town but are definitely a good value for what you pay. The accommodations are well kept, the staff is polite and friendly and the location is excellent. Right next to food, the mall and the airport - BOOM!

Came to MN with family for a Viking's game. The suite was perfect for the four of us. It was clean and the main beds were comfortable. The sofa bed is a typical sofa bed so don't expect much. This hotel is about 20 minutes from the stadium and we did take a cab to get there. The alternate is the train, which runs right next door at the mall. There is a brief outdoor walk to access the Mall of America and a main street to cross, but it was close enough. Chevy's and IHOP (both walking distance to ... Read more

This would be an ideal hotel for families coming to enjoy the mall on vacation. Great free breakfast in the morning with lots of different options.
