The reception and breakfast were very nice. Kids are also allowed in these areas with choices for them also. The pool area is much too small and crowded. There is a nice roomy hot tub, small sauna and small steam room. Very crowded and no where to sit besides right on top of the pool. If you have more than 8 in the pool you almost need to take turns as it is too dangerous and crowded.

Nice hotel; typical Embassy Suites. Rooms are comfortable. Short ride to MSP airport with van. A bit noisy on weekend, with sounds from room above easily heard in mine. The hotel was hosting a large gathering of some sort, so public areas were busy.

I select Embassy Suites whenever possible because I have consistently had a positive experience there. This visit was no exception. The staff at this facility make it an outstanding place to relax. The front desk made us feel welcome. The bartender/wait-person (Rob) made a evening dining experience great. This was a great hotel where the staff really went the extra mile to make sure my stay was perfect. The location is excellent, a 7 minute free shuttle ride from the airport and if you have time to shop the Mall of America is also a 5 minute free shuttle ride away. Rooms are suites, so large and comfortable and very clean. Decor is a bit dated but everything is very nice and well maintained. Bed is super comfortable. Washroom is also a good size. Nice location by Metro stop to Mall of America/Airport/Downtown, but most everything else about the hotel is lukewarm to poor. Room (on the "premium" floor - back to that shortly) was dated and poorly cleaned with everything out of obvious sight noticeably dirty. Soundproofing was non-existent as noise from departing flights and the train made it hard to sleep. Beds very small in the 2-bed rooms. If it wasn't for the location and some of the staff we would be looking elsewhere. Breakfast staff are great. During our four night stay we did not have housekeeping services for the first two days, although we were gone from our room all day, and NEVER did we have the "Do not disturb" sign on the door. Before we headed out of the hotel for sightseeing on day two, I politely mentioned to the desk clerk that we hadn't had housekeeping the day before, and we were out of toilet paper, and needed some fresh towels. Was very surprised at how small the bathroom and bathroom door were. If you were a large person you would not fit through the door. Also the bathroom access is in the bedroom, this is the first Embassy I've experienced this at. The hotel overall seems to be a little outdated compared to the outside. Would I stay here again, meh?! I would most likely try another Hilton brand.

Not terrible just needed to be cleaner floors seemed like they had not been cleaned and the bedspread had not been changed in a while or it was just really old. It was not clear that the bill for parking was $25.00 per day. When i checked in I thought she meant for the whole week, 25 per day is excessive. I stayed here on two separate nights in July -- a Saturday and the Sunday eight days later. I found the staff very friendly and accommodating, but the hotel desperately needs a facelift. Our room the second night had multiple water stains on the bedroom ceiling and the gold striped wallpaper was marred, ripped and peeling in various places throughout the suite. The armoire looked like it was purchased at a used furniture sale; the edges of the doors were damaged, as was one of the front panel... Read more

We arrived and were told they were full and after I told them I had reservations for the hotel that I had made a month ago they looked and found a room for me. I do not know if this was a room that desperately needed updating and cleaning and they gave it to me any way as they were full but it did not smell fresh. Most Embassy Suites are in better shape than this one but it gave me a night of rest so I guess that counts for something. I think next time I will choose a newer hotel.

I try to find an Embassy Suites every time I travel. We stayed here after a relay race. Great managers reception. Open free bar. Breakfast (again free) in the morning is made to order. It usually costs a little more but I end up saving money by not having to eat breakfast and going out for drinks. The only thing off this trip was the jets on the hot tub were not working this trip. Other than that everything was great.

I prefer Embassy Suites to other chains and hardly ever write a review. This particular hotel was a disappointment. The breakfast and manager reception were below other locations. The rooms are okay but for the location there are lots of other choices you may want to consider. The pillows are lumpy and need replaced, as does the couch and chair with worn fabric in room I stayed in.
