Really nice accommodations but the staff was especially nice. Roberta at the Front Desk could not have been more helpful. We were trying to arrange a tour and none were open during our stay. She suggested the light rail and to just get off at some of the stops and check out the areas. She provided us with a map and great directions . We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Great place would definitely stay again.

I spent 4 days and nights at this Embassy Suites for a large recent business gathering that was held in their ballrooms. I can honestly say this is one of the nicest Embassy Suites I've ever had the pleasure of spending time. The decor in the public areas is modern and looked really nice. The staff went out of their way to assist us with the meeting logistics, Happy Hour, made-to-order breakfast, and the nice suites were a very welcome addition for our group of about 75 professionals. The hotel is located right off 494 which is very convenient and close to Mall of American along with eating establishments. The room I stayed in has not been remodeled yet, but was nice. The morning breakfast is great with many choices and evening social hour is also great.

I stayed at Embassy Suites for a business meeting for three days. We received complimentary breakfast every morning, including made to order omelets! There was an evening reception in the atrium every night with free drinks and snacks. The rooms are spacious with separate living and sleeping quarters .. felt more like home. Everything was clean and tidy and I really enjoyed my stay:)

This hotel was recently renovated and is AWESOME! The rooms are large and comfortable. The atrium is very nice. I would say that the pool area could have used a renovation, too, but it doesn‚??t matter a bit to the kids what the pool looks like. They had fun. As with all Embassy Suites, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, and of course, the evening reception with free drinks is always welcome. The free shuttle service is a big plus. It was difficult finding a park and stay (even more difficult finding a hotel that would offer a reverse park and stay like we needed) near the MPS airport that would accommodate 14 days of parking plus offer a ride back to the hotel after 11pm. This hotel is a great property and for a reasonable rate offered exactly what we needed. Even though the shuttle stopped at 11pm, the taxi fare was covered by the hotel. Our room was nice, the staff was friendly. Our room was over the ballroom and there was a wedding both Friday and Saturday night and we had to listen to the music because there isn't a good enough sound buffer. I would have rated my stay higher but since we weren't able to sleep I had to lower my rating. The continental breakfast was great.

The hotel was great except when I arrived there were dirty towels and bedding in the room. Towel were replace the next day. But the bedding was not until my last night even though I pulled up the sheet from the mattress each day. The sheets had red spots on them. My guess blood. Not alot but even I noticed it when I pulled back the covers. This Embassy Suites is similar to others and offers friendly service. I enjoyed the evening reception when I arrived after a long day of travel. This was one of our stops along the way of visiting many states in the mid west. The hotel is modern with every amenity you could want with a great cocktail hour (530-730pm) and a full breakfast in the morning. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Room and bed was comfortable. The made to order omelettes are delicious and the happy hours is a nice perk before you go out for the evening. This hotel is great if you have small children too. The separate TV in the bedroom let us put the kids to bed on the pull-out and we could stay up watching TV without disturbing them.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites Bloomington on a recent trip to Des Moines, Iowa. It was excellent. We stayed in a Premium Room - well worth the small extra. It came with treats and soft drinks included. The breakfast was advertised as made fresh for you and the omelettes that we had were fabulous. Far above the average hotel breakfast. Upon arrival, the area the hotel was in made me leery. It appeared to be a business area and not a hotel area. However, the inside of the hotel was very nice, clean and well-lit, things I expect from an Embassy Suites. The staff was very friendly, courteous and professional. The suite was nice. After staying with family for a few days it was nice to have more room to ourselves. I was impressed that the evening reception was held since it was Labor Day.

We've stayed at the Embassy many times. It is a goood hotel with an exceptional complimentary breakfast. They have made to order omelettes and many other choices available as well. The pool is nice and the overall experience is positive. However, the last time we stayed there, the WiFi was HORRIBLE in our room and the front desk employee didn't seem to care too much (that was her attitude all weekend). The hotel and room was average for an Embassy Suites property. Embassy Suites included a cock tail hour in the evening and a breakfast buffet in the morning. We stood in line for 30 minutes to get eggs cooked to order. There was one chief preparing eggs for the entire hotel. The hotel knows they have a service problem but their solution is to put up signs suggesting that you go to breakfast at 7:30 to avoid a long line. First off the room rate is very good, for the style and quality you receive. You walk in to a two room suite (living room, bed room) with dinette table, multiple televisions, refrigerator, microwave. But that's just the start. Complimentary Airport or Mall of America Shuttle Service and a complimentary happy hour beer, wine, liquor and snacks let this hotel stand out!
