They room was nice, but the receptionist when I first got there didn't give me any type of information about the hotel or anything. She was incredibly rude because there was a scratch on my credit card and she had to type the numbers in - I even apologized for the scratch and she rolled her eyes. If it wasn't for her as my first impression I would have had a nice stay.

Dated but adequate for an inexpensive overnight. Mostly clean though we found a strand of someone else's hair under a pillow. We were initially sent to a room that was already occupied but the front desk quickly set us up in another room. While we were being helped another guest needed to get room keys reactivated because they had quit working after two days. Both staff were friendly and professional and the woman helping us was apologetic for the mistake. Coffee in the lobby was tasty. Soaps ha... Read more

We stayed here with friends for one night. Had a very nice King size bed in an king size room. We did not spent a lot of time in our room because we arrived in the afternoon and before leaving the next morning intended to go to the Mall of America. The bed was soft but comfortable and we ended up with a good night sleep and a hot long shower the next morning. We were placed here for a sports tournament and were really disappointed . We made do but for the same or better price there are a number of other newer, nationally branded hotels in the area. The hotel is in serious need of a renovation and feels overrun. The staff did try hard and the breakfast was decent.

The staffing was unprepared to host a group. There were 3 different groups of 10-15 rooms staying at this hotel at the same time. Both the bar & the restaurant were not able to handle this volume - they only had 1 person staffing the entire bar area (waiting tables, taking orders, making drinks) and in the breakfast area they had 2 servers - they could not keep up and our orders were never right the first time though they were trying. With the exception of the common areas (pool, business office, atrium, bar, restaurant), his hotel is really starting to look "tired". As a family of four we booked the hotel for two nights over a weekend to get out of the heat and do a bit of swimming. We upgraded to a suite. As I stated above, the common areas have been renovated and are solid. Good decor, no complaints whatsoever. The kids loved the pool and a good selection of food at the weekend brunch buffet. This hotel was quite nice. We had no negative issues with it, except that it wasn't convenient for our business purpose. That is no fault of the hotel though. There was a convention in downtown Minneapolis, which made room occupancy very, very full and/or very, very expensive, so the fact that Park Plaza had an available room that wasn't completely overboard on price is much appreciated.

and the room was spacious by motel room standards. Good breakfast buffet for $10.99 extra. But the TV didn't work well. At night I tried to watch some football games on KARE, which is the local NBC affiliate, and I couldn't watch because both the audio and the picture broke up so badly. Both nights. Also, they should add Kleenex boxes to their rooms like most hotels do. So, comfy bed; quiet; good breakfast, but could stand some better maintenance. Also when you exit 494 on exit 6B don't turn on... Read more

Could not get water in bath tub to quit dripping. Reported the problem at the desk. It was fixed immediately. Actually, the facility was too cold. The air conditioner should have been set higher than 68.

Don't expect much but a place to stay. they remodeled but the air unite is still old and is very loud and made it hard for sleeping. I reserved a room with breakfast and they upgraded are room because they gave out all the same type rooms that I reserved. We were excited about the upgraded room but it was the same price as the room that I reserved and it didn't come with breakfast with is the reason why I reserved the room I did. They wouldn't honer the breakfast and I had to prove that by showi... Read more

I enjoyed my stay at Park Plaza Hotel. Too bad I need a credit card in order to stay there. When people do not have a credit card there should be some other way to protect your company and still allow good people to stay.

This hotel is devoid of any character, energy or life to be honest. Its brown, brown,,, brown. Its obvious from the decors in the common areas, the lift and the rooms that there has been no investment by the owners for multiple years. You cannot enter the gym via the door marked 'Fitness Room"... you need to go via the pool.. The kindergarden photograph of a salmon steak and a cut out of a pint of beer in the lift are supposed to lure you to the hotel bar /restaurant for food (btw... that is v... Read more

Nice looking hotel, used by airline crews. Room were spacious, older worn furniture, rug. Bath room very clean. There is a 24 hour restaurant that will deliver to your room. Food was reasonable in cost and hot when it arrived. The delivery guy was gone before we had a chance to tip.

A nice rate, however few amenities and poor customer service. The exercise room didn't open until 6am... Not sure why but truly inconvenient. The breakfast doesn't open until 6:30am, another inconvenience. No lobby coffee which they used to offer a few years ago. Consistently inflexible and mostly uninterested staff that were slow to top it off.

Hard to get to. Room OK. Good beds, clean etc. Clearly not a three star hotel indicated by Priceline. Should not be listed in the Megamall area. Most of all, rude staff at the desk, room service and dining.

Very clean, comfortable rooms with a touch of European character. Convenient restaurant and bar serving great meals after normal hours. The pecan crusted walleye dinner was fantastic as the hotel food was not what I am accustomed to. Outstanding hotel personnel with pleasant check in experience and after hours bar & meal experience.

I booked a double queen room as we had 2 adults and 2 children in our party. We were given a king room. When I went down to ask to be moved to a double queen, I was told the hotel was overbooked and they only had kings available. I then asked to be moved to a partner property in the area, we were staying in the Minneapolis area. I was told that because I booked online and not directly on their hotel website they could not do this. I then asked for a refund and was told no. They did send... Read more

I'm sure this hotel was once a nice place, but it has become pretty dated. The sheets were very used, thin, and scratchy. There were stains on the carpet and small pieces garbage on the floor in the bathroom. Also, hair in the shower. Staff was friendly and parking was fine. Overall, probably wouldn't stay again, but we did get a good priceline deal.

Quiet, comfortable, tucked away but near shopping and restaurants. Surrounded by business offices. Google maps takes a convoluted route to get here. Off 494 and France is the best route. Wish 24/7 shuttle to airport was available. Starts at 4am, so not useful for 5am flights.

Stayed here one night on way back home. Lobby is nice, the room very clean and neat. Bed was comfortable and linens crisp and clean. The TV reception was not great, perhaps storm interfered with signal. Restaurant was closed, but food at bar was very good and not that expensive. Best aspect for us was the airport shuttle. We used it twice. Once to return to hotel after dropping off rental car, and then the next day at 4 am back to the airport for early flight. Better than other shuttle s... Read more

We stay in MN often to visit our son in college. This weekend fell on the Ryder Cup, so we couldn't book our normal hotel. I booked this hotel several weeks in advance with double beds, due to the fact we would have our teenage daughter staying with us and possibly our college son. I called the hotel after booking it online to make sure they got our request of a double bed. I was assured they did have our reservation saved as such. When checking into the hotel Saturday afternoon, I was told ther... Read more

This hotel was just fine. It is hard to find. Is it a little dated yes. Is there wall paper peeling more so in hall ways then room yes. Were there stain on the drapes yes but overall it was fine. Room was clean, beds were great, tv worked well, and carpet was clean. I do wish the TV did have some sort of guide though. Maybe there was one in the hotel book I just didn't look. Rooms dated, customer service poor. Was told there would be a shuttle available to the mall, airport and other places within close proximity. However, that was the furthest thing from the truth. The reality was, there was only shuttle running every couple of hours. Needless to say, I spent additional money for Uber & Lyft. Location is also not convenient!!

I was in town doing sales calls and wanted something close to the airport and the 494. On a work budget, otherwise i would not stay here if i paid out of my own pocket. No breakfast offered unless you want to pay $11 plus tip. Other better, cheaper restaurants close by at least.

This was a good deal on Priceline, I think it was $56 In Express deals ,and overall I was very satisfied with the room and the service. I had a king room , and the floor plan was unique and nice. This property is aging well. The Linens were nice on the bed, towels were okay. The carpet was decent, probably due to be replaced soon ,but my room didn't have any bad stains, there were just travel paths. My room had a small refrigerator, no microwave. I'd stay here again.

What a great hotel, right in the heart of Bloomington and near the Mall of America and the airport. They have a great breakfast area and a nice cocktail lounge along with many other amenities that I didn't have the opportunity to use. They had a wonderful dinner theater performance we attended within the hotel which was very convenient not to have to drive anywhere after it was done. I am planning another stay at this hotel in January where I will take advantage of there airport transportation.
