Noise restaurant, poor food selection and expensive rooms for the quality. Old mattresses, and weird room distribution. The people at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is often not included with the room rates. But the have a decent place to have it. Fortunately different from the noise restaurant.

Austin is basically in the middle of nowhere. But everyone is so friendly here. I stayed at the Holiday inn on business. The hotel was simple, but clean and comfortable. The people were very nice here. The restauraunt Troges or whatever it was called was excellent. The bed was a little firm, but that is just a taste thing. I slept well. The room was a decent size, and the bathroom was outfitted just fine. Nice place, would stay here again if I had to come back to Austin, MN.

Gabby at the front desk was awesome. We had car problems and had to stay in Austin. Gabby was so helpful, giving us info and maps .She got us extra pillows for the room because I just had surgery at Mayo and needed the extra comfort. Lily also , was very helpful.

I was expecting bland but was very pleased to see a nice bronze statue in the mezzanine, sunlight lobby. Amazing! The staff was always helpful and courteous as they worked to keep me informed and my surroundings clean. The room was well cared for with nice modern linen. Good pillows and clean bathroom. Thank you!

Excellent beds, breaks for ten dollars for the room. It can't be beat in this town. Tories live bar added to the mix, Perkins next door plus shopping nearby, it's the bomb for this town.... Highly recommended. Very well kept up. Pool, kiddy pool and whirlpool, it's the best !

We stayed overnight before our sons placement testing at Riverland. This was a nice clean hotel especially compared to the other hotel we stayed at last time. Definitely will recommend the Holiday Inn Austin over other hotels in the areas.

This hotel completed a recent renovation, and is a pleasant place to stay. The rooms are clean and fresh, and the staff is friendly and attentive. They also have Torge's, which has added a spacious outdoor dining area, which serves good food. Torge's also has live entertainment at night, if you are in the mood.

On July 5th I was on my way to Albert Lea on I-90 when my semi was intercepted by a tornado. The truck was picked up and thrown in the ditch on the driver's side, my belongings were blown out of the truck. I was treated at the Austin Mayo Clinic. A local had recommended the Holiday Inn Austin Conference Center so I booked a couple days there. I wandered into the lobby at approximately 3 a.m. bloody and bandaged , my clothes ripped up and no cash. The staff took great care of me immediately , giv... Read more

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn on two different occasions in the last month. We had two rooms the first visit and no complaints, so therefore choose to book again the second time. All settled in bed ready to turn off the light and looked on the floor and there was a large cockroach, it went scurrying under the bed, my husband was down on the floor looking under the bed to find it which he did catch, but also discovered pills under the bed, dirty kleenexes etc.!! He immediately went to the fr... Read more

My wife and I stayed here last weekend for a night while on our road trip vacation. She had booked it with points on hotels.com, as this location was timely in our journey...and we could go to the Spam Museum the next morning (key!). Neither of us cared for the room, as there was a somewhat dank smell (luckily we carry a travel candle), the carpet was a little dingy, and the sheets were not nearly as comfortable as those found in other hotel chains I frequent. The staff was very nice, the int... Read more

We came to town to see the new Spam Museum. When we travel, we usually stay in a locale's specialty lodging (B&B's, boutique Inns, etc.) but we found none to our liking in Austin, so we opted for the Holiday Inn. Turned out to be a good choice. We booked a King Bed room away from the pool, and asked for a quiet section of the hotel. The staff obliged us with rm 221, a corner unit, which was perfect. Our room was clean, well appointed (soft armchair, desk & chair, refrigerator, Microwave, bathro... Read more

We came through for the night and needed a place to stay. It was easy checkin, clean, nice bathroom. I wouldn't recommend staying next to the pool because it's very loud and noisy. Also they do not offer continental breakfast. They do have a restaurant/bar attached and a Perkins (across the parking lot) which makes it easy to find places to eat!

We stayed here 2 days during my wife's all-school high school reunion. The most outstanding feature of the place by far is the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Here are 2 examples. 1. We checked in, got our room assignment, and were bringing in our bags when I realized that I had forgotten to ask if our room had a refrigerator. It didn't. The front desk personnel (there were 3 of them at that time) offered to have a frig brought to the room or to give us a different room. We ch... Read more

The pool area is really great, especially after a long day driving- being able to swim and hop in a hot tub was so relaxing. And I was able to order food from the restaurant to eat in the pool/courtyard area. The only down side was that the Internet was TERRIBLE! I ended up having to do a hot spot on my phone to get any work done.

The hotel is a little dated but very clean. It was fully booked so we had the bad opportunity to stay in a room with a window to the indoor pool. Not what we would choose... But the stuff is super friendly and the service is really good. Thanks for sending my mug which I forgot.

I have been staying here on weekends for the last 22 months and I would like to thank front desk associate Debbie for the exceptional costumer service she exhibits. She "aways" does her best to put me in the room of my choice even when I want to check in early and she is always smiling and so friendly. This is a very pleasant place to stay

The property is a standard, two level hotel, located just off Interstate 90. There is a large indoor pool and spa area in the middle of the building complex. Our room was fairly large with a king bed. The bath was pretty standard with a large vanity. The entire facility was clean and well maintained. The only issue was that the hallways were narrow and dark, not well lit. There is a sports bar located adjacent to the hotel, (we did not try it). There is also a breakfast area, but the menu... Debbie at the front desk has always been excellent and efficient with accommodating all the needs required throughout my stays. She makes sure everything is accurate. The overall group at the Austin Location are fantastic, but Debbie always goes above and beyond to make sure our entire group is taken care of.

Stayed at this location for an extended time in October 2016. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The attached bar/restaurant is convenient and has decent food. The hotel itself is a bit pricey for this area. The biggest drawbacks are that the room mattresses are uncomfortable. They remind me more of a budget hotel chain than a Holiday Inn. Also, there is only one electrical switch in the bathroom so the fan runs every time you turn on the light. The fan is noisy and bothersome.... Read more

We checked in after midnight after a long drive. Lisa warmly greeted us. We found a card slipped under the door with a personal message about our trip and thanking us for staying. First time ever getting one like this it was nice to have the personal touch. Room was very clean and warm which was nice because it was cold outside. We ate breakfast at the Bistro. Our server Tanisha was great. She had a warm smile when greeting us. She checked in on us a few times making sure all was ok. The food w... Read more

From a very pleasant welcome at my late-night arrival in terrible weather, I knew I was in for a great stay. Lisa, Debbie and the rest of their team were so accommodating and thoughtful. When I schedule a wake-up call, they even offered me a friendly reminder vis a vis snooze button. When I couldn't figure out the Keurig machine... a staff member was up with in 5 minutes to get it working. The room was super clean, the shower had an awesome massage powerhead, the room was comfortable, and quiet.... Read more

This hotel was pretty good: everything was very clean and the room was very nice. The hotel has an area by the lobby where you can order a hot breakfast of your choice, including espresso drinks at your added expense. The hotel is also attached to a restaurant, which is convenient, but it was loud, so we didn't try it. The price was reasonable.

The day after Thanksgiving, my 3 adult children and grandson went to Torge's Bar and Grill for lunch. We ordered from a menu that guaranteed our meals be served in 15 minutes. Not only was the service very personal, our food arrived in less than 15 minutes. Our waitress, Angie, "went the extra mile" when we asked for low calorie salad dressing, which was not served in this location. She took the time to search the whole property for some. We did not stay at this hotel, went there only for lunch... Read more
