This is a lovely hotel where the gentlemen at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly. We were most impressed by the way they welcomed us and gave us useful information about the town and the fun events. The service has been phenomenal. The rooms are lovely too. We really are enjoying our stay!

We chose this place after a friend highly recommend it. We were not disappointed! Everything was perfect- from our reception at the front desk, to the cleanliness and amenities in the room, to the pool area. We did not eat at the restaurant, so cannot comment on that. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Spent two nights here this weekend. Very modern, clean and attractive hotel. One of the nicest suites we've ever stayed in. Comfortable king-size bed, two large-screen TVs--one in bedroom and one wall-mounted facing the sofa bed and armchair. Nice work desk and chair. We didn't use it, but excellent free Wi-Fi setup. Nice coffee bar in room. Modern bathroom fixtures and a large walk-in shower like all motels and hotels should have. We always pack a nightlight when we travel, and I'm sure that sa... Read more

Cambria hotel is part of the Choice Hotel chains. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The room is clean and spacious, more like a suite. Definitely would recommend this hotel. There is also a restaurant/lounge on premise.

We stayed two nights and just loved the room, it was very clean, well equipped with all the comforts needed. The staff was friendly, helpful and seemed to truly want to make your stay an experience. The restaurant serves an awesome breakfast, our favorites were the skillet breakfast. In the evening they have a wonderful, inviting, lounge area. We actually could have spent the entire 48 hours within the hotel. We thank you for a wonderful getaway weekend!

I go to TC to visit family a couple times a year and usually stay at Cambria Suites. The front desk staff is always so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds and perfect pillows. There is a small sitting area with a sofa couch, table, small fridge and microwave. It's a perfect setup for a family or fun time for couples or a business traveler. I love eating at their onsite restaurant. Their wine list is extensive for a lobby bar and the food is way better then mo... Read more

The entire hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We were pleased with our room - a king suite on the first floor. Would recommend! It is not close to downtown, but from our experience none of the hotels really were - all were a driving distance away.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. Rooms are spacious and modern. Staff is very helpful. Pool and fitness are open 24 hrs. (real bonus and rare). Restaurant has excellent food. Although the location is not on the water it is very centrally located making easy to reach various points of interest throughout Traverse area. I am a seasoned traveler and highly recommend this hotel.

After months of temporary residence, I am confident my observations are part of the facilities culture. The desk staff is fantastic. Beth and Ashly always make sure the coffee is ready for your commute in the morning. Jian and Ryan welcome you back with smiles in the afternoon. Ken and Cindy help you forget the day away with the right combination of libations. The newest treat is the new menu assembled by the Master Chef Eric Nittao. This is a true work of culinary art with a delightful selecti... Read more

This hotel is great in every way. I've stayed at hotels all over the nation and this hotel tops the chart. It's clean, cozy, quiet, refreshing and all of the staff is super. There is a restaurant here at the hotel and the food is delicious. They have a new chef and he is very talented. From the moment that you walk in until the moment that you check out, you are treated special. The rooms are decorated beautifully, the bathroom is spacious with a very large walk-in shower. They gave me a terrific map of the area. The staff treated me so well, helping at every turn. Will stay here next time I'm in the area. The free shuttle is fabulous and lets you have fun and not worry about the parking or directions. Very clean with GREAT food. The chef made 3 passes in the dining area even though his large family in the mix.

Very nice suites with separate areas for sleeping, and working/lounging. The staff is helpful and friendly. I did have some concerns with a noisy bar area, but could hear nothing in my room. The hotel is not in a beautiful spot, but it's close to town and and the bay.

The new chef, Eric Nittolo, is amazing. Fresh, delicious and quite frankly the best food we had on our entire trip - including the food at the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island. Don't get me wrong, the Grand was really good, but it did not hold a candle to Eric's food. I would encourage anyone to go there just to eat even if you are not staying there. I would also say to do it quickly because I can't imagine talent like his to be there long. The Cambria is lucky to have him.

My husband and I stayed three nights here (Sunday-Wednesday, mid June) with a friend of ours, in a 2-King suite with 2 king bedrooms and one bath. We were on the top floor in 312 and it was clean and quiet. Keurig coffeemaker, fridge and microwave made things convenient. Loved the walk-in shower. Two mornings we ate at the Omelette Shop down the street but did eat at the hotel the last morning and were amazed at the reasonable prices for good food and service. One evening we had drinks at the ba... Read more

Excellent service , clean rooms, great food very adventurous menu. Ken at the bar and Erik the chef at the Bistro restaurant served up a wonderful meal. Our party is from Seattle and Chicago and all commented that their meals were equal or better that meals served at high end restaurants back home. Great value and a great time while on the road. Five star value.

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff. Chef Eric at the Reflect bistro in the hotel is a Culinary Genius! He prepared a VEGAN entree for my husband and I that was absolutely delicious! We had breakfast there the next morning and it was also terrific! I highly recommend this first class hotel with this first class Chef! -Dan & Dawn

We went to visit our young friend, turned super chef, Eric Nittolo. It was awesome to see him in such a welcoming place. Even though we trusted that the food would be good, we had no idea of how good! !! The filet my hubby had, was melt in your mouth. And the flavors of the beef made us not want to stop savoring the flavor and swallow. As for me and the mussels, they were the very best I have ever had anywhere. They we big and tender, and oh so delicious. I felt like I wished I were... Read more

I was there for work related stay for few days and my goodness their customer service and 5-star standards goes beyond the roof, especially Ryan at the front desk. I was extremely amazed by the quality of their room. And their pancake breakfast was the best I ever had in my life!

It is like a home and way from home. If my home came with a full time staff of experts at makingredients you truly feel like you are their only priority. Everyone seems to enjoy their job and it shows. I have stayed at nearly every hotel in the area, #1 in my book.

I decided to stay at the Cambria for a special weekend I had planned for my girlfriend and I. It was her Birthday weekend and I had a Wine Tour scheduled as well as several other special things. I was also planning a private Balloon Charter to propose to her. and then a group of friends and family coming in for a wine tour. Everybody at the Cambria was amazing. From Jian at the front desk to Olivia our server at Reflections. Jian was aware of my special plans and assisted and made suggestions... Read more

I chose Cambria because I wanted a clean, new hotel which catered to grown ups in a vacation town. I got that and so much more. The second night we were there, we were tried from touring and decided to eat in the downstairs dining room. We ate there each remaining night of our stay. What a complete surprise. Chef Eric Nittolo is working magic in the kitchen. From the excellent wine suggestions to the beautiful cheese plate he presented on the last night there (it's not on the menu yet), ev... Read more

Outstanding hotel and service! One of the best moderate chain hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is clean, modern and well appointed. Rooms are spacious (2 queens with a semi-separate sitting area with pullout sofa and desk). Pullout sofa was uncomfortable, like most hotels, but adequate. The service was all-around outstanding, everyone was very helpful, friendly and professional. The food was great, the staff was friendly! It was just an overall good dining experience all the way around. The restaurant area was really nice, different than what maybe most would anticipate from a chain style hotel. Oh and should I mention, try the Lobster Benedict!

We have been staying here for visits fairly regularly over the last year. The staff are incredible, and the hotel is more than comfortable. The best, though, is the food. We first discovered this restaurant for Thanksgiving last year. The current chef: Eric Nittolo, has blown us away this visit with amazing, consistent plates that have made me say wow out loud several times in the last three days. The food is obviously had picked, fresh, and presented with beautiful edible garnishes that add qua... Read more
