Nice room, came with double beds, microwave, refrigerator. 32 flat screen tv. free wifi. Only thing I didn't like to well was the small shower and bathroom. big counter outside though. good price as well. did the advance purchase and got a good deal. they are updating the rooms even more.

Stayed 3 nights. Rooms are small says it sleeps 4 but beds are very small and my two kids were uncomfortable with the lack space. Me and my wife had a worse time with the small beds. Clean overall but they had construction going on and started hammering and drilling at 7 in the morning. person in room above us was sitting in car smoking and blasting music first thing in the morning. The rooms are smoke free but all night long i would smell Smoke because the person in the room next to us stood be... Read more

Needed an affordable place to stay for one night after watching the Pistons play. Tripadvisor reviews led me to Red Roof Inn. The room rate was great. The motel seems to be undergoing renovations and my room had been refreshed. Easy 10-15 minute drive to The Palace of Auburn Hills. 24 hour McDonalds next door, perfect for a snack after the game. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, budget friendly place to spend a night, This is your place.

It is a nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. The hotel is convenient to M-59 and I-75. Even though it is next to M-59, the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Everything in the room worked fine. There was some noise from neighboring rooms if the banged things against the wall.

Have stayed here many times over the years. Always delighted w hospitality, cleanliness, service, peaceful setting. Room is well decorated and pristine. Staff is friendly, efficient, accomodating. Saw Canadian Geese on property yesterday. It's home base for visits to Oakland County. It is a very safe, convenient location. Have recommended it to many family members and they love it too.

CLEAN, quiet. We stayed there for the J Buffet concert at DTE/Pine Knob. East to get there as well as any place else in the region. Will come back often. Nice office staff person. Great shower, fully pillows, comfortable mattress. What more do you need form a modest priced motel. Much better than some were we paid twice a much.

I have stayed at this Red Roof many times and would always go back. Quiet location away from the road. Renovated rooms are all good. Staff are extremely pleasant and remember you from stay to stay. Rooms have microwave and fridges and are clean. Very good wi-fi. Close to Great Lakes Crossing, a Walmart and Meijer are very close.

We stayed here for one night. We found the staff helpful in giving us directions to our destination for the evening. The room was clean and you couldn't hear anything going on around us. The room did smell a bit musty and there was a long black hair in the shower when I got in. I tried to ignore it. :( The room was affordable and we'd likely try and Red Roof Inn in the future.

I stay here at least once each year. Front desk is superb. Always friendly and accomodating. Great price. Very clean, basic hotel. Feel safe no matter what hours we keep. Convenient location, near Meijers, freeway, downtown Rochester, restaurants and shopping.

I need to get better at judging places to stay. I like to think I can depend on the reviews of places. The room itself was small, everything was small. I'm a 6'1" woman and I felt like a giant in the bathroom. The good thing about the bathroom was the great shower pressure. Was not in the room that much, that was a good thing. When we first got there a housekeeper right outside our door was arguing with someone else; it felt very ghetto-like. I like the location of the hotel, it's a better are... Read more

I return to this location time after time. Friendly staff. Clean updated rooms. Quiet location with trees and a pond behind it. McDonalds on site and lots of other choices to eat nearby. A great place to stay if visiting Great Lakes Crossing mall or Chrysler Museum, Oakland University or the Village at Auburn Hills. Downtown Rochester not far away.

Usually the red roof brand is one I trust...this visit I would thought the same...until Sunday morning. While in the restroom early in the morning I witnessed a large insect crawling down the shower wall! I don't know if it was a roach as I've been lucky enough to have never seen one in person, but this bug was large, and certainly put me off my morning shower. The only saving grace is that I didn't encounter it on Friday or Saturday, or we would have been searching for a new hotel. As ... Read more

The price is ok for what you get. As others have posted before, the rooms are small but for 1 night not bad The one thing that hit us like a brick wall was the first time especially and every time after when we entered the room it didn't just smell, but overwhelmingly smelled of bleach. Good for disinfecting, but I don't know if it was the sheets or what they clean with. Too much Had 3 people in the room and only 2 towels. I had to drive back to front lobby to pick one up cause front staff was a... Read more
