This was for a short 1-night stay in April 2016. It wasn't a bad stay. It's good to see it being remodeled because it has had some good wear/tear over the years, but it was still a clean hotel. Some downsides was that the ice machine didn't work so I had to walk all the way over to the restaurant to get ice. I woke up in the morning with an extremely sore back. It was weird because the bed felt nice before I slept, but didn't feel great in the morning. The parking lot was horrible though. It nee... Read more

Ok - this is an older holidome that will soon be torn down. The staff gives 120 percent - hotel was clean and room was fine. Rate is very good - reasonable In house bar with friendly bar tender Breakfast was great - real eggs! Bacon that Is not greasy or burnt. No powdered eggs Soon they will build a new hotel but until then, give them your business

I stayed for two nights at this hotel. My room was not 'interior' and without a balcony, rather I was on one of the interior corridors. I found the staff to be kind, helpful, and more than able to help me out with everything I needed (breakfast, a place to get my nightly walk in, a suggestion for a good running spot, and directions to the airport while the highway was under construction) were all offered and appreciated. My room, however, needed some TLC and updating. (The drop ceiling in th... Read more

In my room, there was cracks in tile in bathroom where it looked like things could crawl through. Other than that, the room was clean, and the lobby was nice. On a Friday night, the pool is loud so don't get a room facing the indoor pool, especially on the second floor. My key to my room stopped working because the lock went bad. After several trips to the lobby, they had to send up a tech so that I could just get in my room. We were eventually moved to another room. There were drop ceilin... Read more

Rooms are fairly clean but they have not been renovated in a while. They used to have the best mattresses but those obviously have not been updated in a while either. They have a restaurant on site that is on the pricey side but the food is good. Poor and hot tub on site but its usually packed with unattended kids. Management should monitor this better as it appears to be a playground for the kids instead of having the adults enjoy it.

The hotel was a little disappointing compared to the picture. The staff was really good but the quality of the room could be better. The rooms were a little dirty and the overall hotel still seemed old even though they said it was renovated. But I would have to say the staff was very helpful and friendly

I stayed here for a three day convention at the hotel. I stayed in a standard king room. It included a large flat screen TV, desk and chair with ottoman. The room was clean and very roomy. It included free wifi. The one negative in this room was no frig. I had to keep putting ice in my cooler. The hotel itself was very nice with a workout room, indoor pool and hot tub in an enclosed atrium in the middle of the building. They had a restaurant that was open for lunch, closed during the aft... Read more

Loved the set up of the hotel, unfortunately the hotel will be torn down in December and it shows. The minimum effort is being put into maintaining, because they aren't replacing, so the door locks are fussy - or able to be opened when they should be locked. The staff is excellent and are doing their best with what they have or are allowed to do. They were very very accommodating and the room was huge, I love the Atrium area and the way the hotel was set up. If this was staying open & being ... Read more

While on the road, we attempted to call the front desk to advise of our late arrival due to road work. No one would answer. We had to call the 800 number to speak to a live person who assured us that our room would be held for us. We found a backed-up toilet upon checking-in at 10:30 PM. At midnight, security (finally) arrives with a plunger and tells us to plunge it ourselves! Another room was not offered. The bathtub also backed-up. 1 of 2 phones in the room did not work. When I requested... Read more

This hotel needs some serious updating, cleaning, and maintenance. If you decide to stay here and have small children, please be aware that the elevator door starts to open before stopping on the floor. The carpets throughout the property need replaced, both common areas and in the room as they are dirty. Customer service was also lacking, one of the front desk clerks was talking with a friend for over 30 minutes one of the nights I was there. I would recommend looking for another hotel in a nei... Recently stayed for 6 nights at this horrible hotel that did not deserved the Holiday Inn brand. Parking lot full of big potholes and broken asphalt/concrete - looked like a war zone. Laminate floor planks in the lobby/dining area cupped due to excessive moisture (indoor swimming pool and spa near lobby - Holidome effect). Carpets in common areas were wrinkled and smelly. Old -fashion wall panels peeled off in several areas and held together with black tapes. Room HVAC was noisy and temperat... Read more

I was extremely disappointed with the Holiday Inn Hotel in Livonia, Michigan. It began with approaching the parking lot which looked like it was bombed during a war. While walking into the hotel to check in you are greeted with a smell from a musty basement. My mistake was prepaying for this hotel stay in order to save close to 20 bucks. I learned my lesson because if I didn't pay I would have easily walked out. I actually considered staying the night in my car. Room much smaller than other Holi... Read more

Very hard to recognize on the side street. Construction next lot over. Walked in, receptionist was very helpful and informative. Grand entrance and the smell of chlorine (not overwhelming) . Room was neat clean and spacious. Had room with front and poolside rear door. Stayed 2 nights and would stay again.

We recently booked a stay at your hotel for two nights. We were looking forward to some rest and relaxation from the demands of work and everyday life. The online pictures of the hotel made it look very appealing. Large pool, hot tub, bar area, sitting areas, etc. Very deceiving pictures! Upon arrival at your hotel, we had to maneuver our way around a parking lot full of potholes. We had a small bag of garbage to throw out, which would barely fit in the full garbage containers outside of t... Read more

This hotel is more like a MOTEL. The parking lot is dark, the carpet is dirty, and the design is old. Similarly the rooms are old, the carpet is dirty, and the rooms are not properly cleaned. I will never stay there again. If you are used to the Holiday Inn standard this hotel, rather motel, does not follow that standard. Additionally, everyone in our group felt the same way. One co-worker said she found panties or socks behind the dresser. There was hair and trash in my room.
