I stayed here with my family over the weekend and was very happy with our choice. This was our first visit to this hotel and will not be our last when we are in the area. The staff was all amazing and friendly and more than accommodating. We were met with friendly staff members from the moment we checked in and every request we made (we made a few) was met with ease. The manager's reception was nice with free drinks and finger foods and was a nice touch. The room we had appeared to be recent... Read more

I travel a considerable amount and use hotels often, I have to say this was one of the most friendly, accommodating staff. The offered help when it was not asked for; they strive to please all in any way they can help, from the front desk people to the security guards, to the house keeping staff to the servers at the breakfast bar in the morning. This hotel outshines even some of the best 5 star hotels that I have stayed at.

Great staff! Clean, updated and has a great new menu. Food was amazing and the complementary breakfast was perfect. Only thing I would add is better coffee, but I'm picky. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are spacious and quite. This was a business trip for me and my first time in Livonia.

The remodeling has been completed. The breakfasts are well prepared with some variations daily. The evening beer selections could be improved. Everything is great. They seem to have a lot of conferences during the day. Would I come back? Yes, tomorrow night.

When my son decided to bring his girlfriend and three kids from Pennsylvania to meet me and his sister for the first time we needed a hotel. Since Comic Con was the same weekend we couldn't find anything close to my town. I think it was fate we ended up at this Embassy Suites! I want to thank Elshawn, Michael, Tyler, Joie, Katy, Cheri, Lindsay, Jill, Justin and Lumie for helping my family have the best family 'vacation' we've had in a very long time! The rooms were clean, the staff was great and the breakfasts and evening receptions were awesome!

I had my wedding here and the communication before, during and after was horrible. During the entire planning process, it was one surprise after another. Renovations right before the wedding, heating and cooling system down, booked a soccer tournament same weekend as my wedding so there were rowdy kids everywhere. None of which was communicated to me until it was too late. Accommodations and cost are nice when the air is working.

We were in Canton this past weekend for my sons' baseball tournament. This was only a 15-20min drive and was worth every penny. Loved the new look since they remodeled. (Very modern). Bed was amazing, service and food was superb. Plus, the room was super clean! Will definitely return when visiting the area. ?????? Cool waterfall in the pool area too. :)

My family and I stayed here because the rooms offered the space we needed. I was very skeptical because of previous reviews with guest having a horrible stay during the remodel. So when we arrived I noticed that the remodel was finished and was quite impressed with the decor and open feeling of the lobby/courtyard area of the hotel. We checked-in around eight pm or so from our extremely long road trip with our five little people. My husband stayed at the room while the children and I visite... Read more

Everyone was very friendly and the hotel was very nice. Unfortunately, on one of the nights we stayed there, there was a small fire during the night (thrown out cigarette by hotel guest). Everything was handled professionally. The next day, our room was not cleaned or new towels brought in. It was clear that no one from housekeeping was even in our room to check things. Bed was still unmade and towels were still on floor. We had to go down to front desk to get fresh towels. Also, the next... Read more

We enjoyed our 1 night stay on June 26, 2016. It was a last minute decision and we were not disappointed. Our double room was very clean and well appointed--features you enjoy with the Hilton brand. The complimentary breakfast was FABULOUS!!! Made to order omelettes, pancakes, hashbrowns, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, and sausage were some of the menu items. Stayed here for the first time on business and was not overly impressed. The hotel is very dates and needs a face lift and that means more than the lobby. Also, the managers reception had chips and salsa, really. I stayed here based on being close to a work function. Since it is the only Hilton property in the area it is the only option. Everything was going pretty smoothly on this trip, which was my third or fourth to this hotel. Then this evening we ventured to the pool and hopped in, only to find they were out of towels. Although I think hotels should monitor the pool during open hours to make sure it is stocked, I can forgive this oversight. The location was fine (although a little difficult with construction going on). The breakfast is wonderful. The staff was good--friendly and professional. Our room seemed very clean but when my wife looked closer, she discovered garbage in hidden places like under the bed (only a few inches) but behind the sheets. Crumbs were in the corner and near the sofa. It seems evident that cleaning is not done well--just quickly over visible areas.

We just held our class reunion at this venue. Working with Elaine Evans was a gift! She and the staff of Embassy Suites could not have been more organized, professional and/or accommodating. Food was very good and nice presentation in the lobby. Would definitely book again.

Went in to book reservations in person, because I had a lot of visitors from China coming in and didn't want to have to spell all of their names on a phone call. She wouldn't let me make the reservation in person and said I had to call the reservation line. Called the reservation line and got someone who barely spoke English. Had to spell everything out repeatedly. It took way longer than it should have and it still wasn't correct when it was finished. So annoyed right now.

Embassy Suites in Livonia was wonderful. Amazing food and accommodations. I would recommend this hotel to any one. The pool area was lovely. The main lobby is huge with many options for interacting. The free breakfast was extremely well done.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites for a couple of days. There were quite a few places to stay but we chose the Embassy Suites. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The best amenity was the room service. The choices were definitely excellent offering great Michigan products. The cooks, James and Nate cooked everything to perfection and Jenny and Cheri delivered them on time and were very friendly and accommodating.

Room, staff, and location were all excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious as are all Embassy Suites. The couple of times I needed something from the front desk the people were attentive and wanted to make sure my needs were met. I would highly recommend this location to anyone travelling to this area.

This was one of the nicest Embassy Suites that I have stayed in in quite a long time. The property was updated and very modern, the rooms were clean and well appointed and the service was great. The front desk person even was so kind as to book me in a room that didn't face the highway as she indicated it could get noisy and that bothered some guests (though noise like that actually helps me to sleep). The breakfast was so fresh and delicious that I felt like I was at a high-end restaurant. ... Read more

This was our second time staying at this hotel but the previous visit was about 5 years ago. The hotel is pretty nice overall and the pool and restaurant are very nice. The buffet breakfast in the morning was excellent. We really enjoyed the omelette station and all the options. The room itself was just okay though. There were holes in the back of the bedroom door and the bathtub was in rough shape (caulking and grout missing, light cover separating from ceiling). We were backing on to the... Read more

To be fair, their website does say they are under construction, so I'm hoping the rooms are part of that reno. My Hilton Honors profile has a request for high floor and they put me on the first floor right next to the lobby and loud construction. Fine. The room was not good. Mildew smell upon entering and mold in a few ceiling tiles. No room/hotel guide in the room to give me info about dining, etc. Internet is not free and requires a code and is spotty at best. No full length mirror which isn't... Read more

We have liked this hotel in the past so booked 3 rooms for family for a local wedding. One was supposed to be Handicap accessible for my father who is in a wheelchair. I specifically called for the reservation in order to ensure a Handicap room. We got to our rooms today and learned that Handicap accessible at the Embassy Suites only means a wide door on the larger bathroom and a clothing hook at waist level. No grab bars by toilet or shower and no walk in shower. They told us they only have... Read more

On arrival were given the wrong room, it was missing the balcony. The man at the front desk promptly fixed the problem, he personally came to our room to escort us to the correct room. In the morning we over slept and missed breakfast. I had a funeral to attend, leaving little time to find a restaurant. I called room service, we we told that they didn't open for another hour. When I explained that I was hungry and missed breakfast Jerome told us to come down he cooked us a nice breakfast. Justin... Read more

We stayed at this hotel because it was central to everywhere we needed to go - Canton, Livonia, Southfield. Also, the complimentary breakfast was a selling point The only thing that I would change is getting a two bed suite, because the sofa sleeper was too uncomfortable for our daughter. The blankets they provided for the sleeper sofa were not in good condition.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. My only complaint was the missing garbage bags in the trash cans and no soap in bathroom. Good thing i travel with my own toiletries. Also my heat in room didn't work. The issue was reported but never fixed. Other than those few things my stay was great. They also have good coupons for Dave and Busters which was a great perk since we were going anyway. I love that i can walk from the hotel. Great location

Nice rooms, very comfortable bed/pillows, the room was very comfortable. I called to order room service and they had an old menu for me to order from. Susan, went back and got me a new menu. She was amazing giving me an idea of how to make my chicken sandwich, when I realized they didn't have cheesecake - she brought me back cookies & ice cream. She also thought about me for the cocktail time - I have a broken knee and she offerred to bring me a drink if I would like one. I declined because I di... Read more

Nice hotel. I think I was upgraded to a larger suite (it had a full-size table that could seat 6-8 and a shower about four times larger than my own) although I wasn't told anything when I checked in. I was in room x55 that faces the front of the hotel. There was a large group of rowdy folks hanging out at the front of the hotel and they woke me and my wife up at 130am. I called front desk after awhile and they took care of it, but the damage was done. I didn't fall back asleep until 5 and I ha... Read more

Not a pleasant stay at all. Kids were told they could not jump in the pool, pullout was unclean, security on every floor level watched every move. Security scares and made my 7 and 9 year old cry when they were returning from grandparents room to our room. More concerned about yelling at children than providing service like pool towels. Book in room says breakfast until 1030am to find that they actually closed at 10am. Woken up by housekeeping asking us when check out was. Worst hotel experience... Read more

Stayed at this hotel with a team of kids for a hockey tournament. The sound insulation is poor, with noise from the highway, hallways, and other rooms fairly loud. The pullout bed was not comfortable at all, no mattress. The breakfast was OK, but not spectacular. The pool was the biggest disappointment - ridiculously small (many houses I know have larger pools), and no towels available when we were there. My family and I use the Embassy Suites anytime we travel. We also used this specific hotel for our family reunion. So it was a no brainer when my husband and I wanted a quick get away for our anniversary. The hotel has been recently updated, but I actually like the old fountain and decor better then the new contemporary cold version. Anywhoo, our weekend was ok, the area around the free breakfast could be cleaned more often, but for the price I can't complain. However, what I can complain about ... Read more

Very nice grounds, lots of parking and three family restaurants within walking distance. Each room is a suite with dining area/table, sink, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Two bottles of complimentary water in fridge. We stayed for two nights but on arriving back to our hotel late on the second night, we had no fresh glasses, no complimentary water, no refreshed coffee nor coffee mugs. I stay here 4 times a year with a group of sales persons. The staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. The cooked to order breakfast is good. generally chaotic. Families, with rambunctious children. Not the hotels fault but children racing in the hallways unattended by a parent is annoying. By Sunday afternoon when most are checked out it returns to normal I would recommend this hotel

Don't stay here if you want to sleep during your stay. This was the worst hotel experience that I have had in the past 10 years. We stayed here on Thanksgiving night. I stayed recently at the Embassy Suites in Livonia, MI for a business trip. I was very satisfied with the friendliness of the staff and the general cleanliness of the facility overall. Horrible to the point where we were conversing in designating lounges in lobby at 830pm and were told to leave with every other group when we were told we could stay until 1030pm. What are couches and lounge for if we are not allowed to talk quietly. it came to the point where we had the staff call the police, as we were doing nothing wrong and just talking, not yelling and nothing. This happened BOTH nights were were there along with every group down there bast 730pm.
