Everything was clean, the desk clerks were helpful and considerate, the breakfast that came with the room was rather Spartan. The scrambled eggs were the instant kind, the sausages were the typical kinds you find. There was nothing special. The area in the breakfast room was quite tight. The room was clean. One word of advice, ask for a room away from any parked semi-trucks with their refrigerator units running all night.

Great hotel and staff that exceeded my expectations for a hotel of this category. Most of the hotel appears relatively newly renovated and, hence, is very good condition. The lobby, for example, is quite impressive. The room was clean and well sized. (The bathroom could have used a new painting, but that is a very minor complaint.) The free continental breakfast was significantly better than most, offering a variety of yoghurts, breads, muffins and bagels, two waffle makers, fresh fruit, and sur... Read more

...just as good as the first. The staff, the room, the breakfast were all excellent. My son liked the fitness facility and also could have taken advantage of the free pass to the local gym. The Inn was located close to all of our destinations and if we're ever in the neighborhood again, we will definitely stay here.

Clean and comfortable room. Pleasant smiling staff. Very nice and clean facility. Breakfast bar very good variety. The person managing bar prefers scrambled eggs and also do not over cook so you're don't receive dry egg nuggets. A nice change over the patties you feel you could use for soft shoe insoles. Many spots to shop if you need some items for your trip. Also fair number of restaurants in the area. Definitely book again when traveling through the area. .

We had a weekend stay at the Comfort Inn, and we could not have been more pleased. The check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff was very courteous. Our room just like the rest of the hotel was very clean, quiet, had a comfortable bed and a microwave and mini-frig, very convenient. We had a room on the first floor because we had our dog with us, and there was plenty of room for her bed as well. The front desk even had some doggie treats on check-in, a really nice touch. Booked 2 rooms last weekend. Stayed there with husband and 2 year old, other room were our two friends. Beds/pillows were very comfortable. The walls are thick, I didn't hear a peep and it was a busy Saturday night. Rooms clean and baby dropped snacks on floor, picked them back up and ate it, did not get sick, thank goodness. Pool was nice and warm, breakfast great and staff very nice.

Great hotel that carries over many of the standard features from its past add a Hampton Inn. Friendly staff that goes out of its way for our business meetings and functions. They typically have pizza brought in on Tuesday nights for guests, as well as cookies at the front desk.

My fiancee and I took a week long road trip starting on the 4th of July weekend. We stayed in 5 different hotels during our week long trip. The Comfort Inn on the west side of Lansing was the hotel that stood out as the best in service and value for the money. The Comfort Inn in Lansing, at Canal and Saginaw was not the fanciest of the hotels we stayed at, it is probably considered a 2 1/2 star hotel. But, for the money it reigned supreme. This is in comparison to a range of different level o... Read more

The bed sloped to the middle and was uncomfortable. The fridge was super cold and froze everything. Breakfast also had another monitor to corral customers. The rooms are what you need: bed shower. Every room has a mini fridge! (Staying a week this is huge). The best part though is some rooms have walkout balconies and the patio doors have screens. The staff is friendly. The hotel has breakfast and bring in pizzas throughout the week as a welcome.

The perfect hotel experience. Modern up to date from the lobby, breakfast area & rooms. Friendly & accommodating staff. $70. For 2 beds. Great price. Clean...clean...modern. Great kitchen lady. There was a bus load of foreign tourists & she kept them moving right along. Directing where items were & that the waffle maker was not the toaster :-) very helpful. This is my go-to hotel when I'm in Lansing. The hotel is conveniently located right off of the freeway and near all types of dining/shopping etc. We were staying while participating in The Color Run in downtown Lansing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is low in price, has good rooms, and a decent breakfast that is included in the price of the hotel. It is off a main highway, so you can get downtown, or to East Lansing with little effort. The Lansing Mall is close, and the downtown area is about a ten minute ride with two good options for travel to it. Gas stations, and plenty of food options are very close. This place is a great bang for your money!
