We had planned on staying in the Apostle Island area, however; due to a large open air car show, rooms were totally booked for about 60 miles in every direction. Made numerous calls and finally told by this motel that they had one room left We reserved and arrived 45 minutes later. One couple just leaving lobby were told no rooms available and a lady followed me in also looking for a room. Sorry, I got the last one. Thankful for them holding the room for me by just my name and no credit car... Read more

Staff was the best I have ever experienced. Candy, Tracy, and Tina were exceptional. Staff upgraded out room. Due to poor snow conditions we decided to leave a day early and had a full refund and smooth kind service. Had snowmobile issues and the maintenance guy brought me out tools to get me up and running again.

I regularly travel to the Northern Wisconsin and Western UP for business. This hotel is my go to hotel. The entire staff is friendly and professional. Candy and Tracy are great and are very knowledgeable of the area. The hotel is very clean. The housekeeping staff does a wonderful job. I have never had a problem during any of my stays.

Our snowmobile club had a great time at your hotel this past winter. You were not our original destination, but because of snow conditions we had to switch and Americas Best Value Inn did a great job at accommodating our group at the last minute. Everyone had a great time. Very clean rooms and plenty of parking for the trucks and trailers. We will be back. Kewaskum Sno-Chiefs

My Friend and I stayed here to go snowmobiling and the staff was very helpful, the general manger right away hooked us up with maps and directions.. The rooms are very plain but the price is right ! We didn't come there to hang out in the hotel anyways.. They even serve breakfast and it was pretty decent.. Will definitely stay here again ?????

This is the best hotel we have stayed in, and all we do is travel and stay in hotels. This is by far the best hotel experience we have had. The manager is the nicest woman and between her and all members of the staff, they go the extra mile to make sure each one of their guests feels at home and is satisfied. The hotel is pet friendly and they have an area that is kept very nice by the staff for your pets. The housekeeping staff does an impeccable job on a daily basis and they are always friendl... Great customer service. Unfortunate guest ahead of me was very rude to staff. I found staff to be very, very pleasant. Candy was almost in tears due to the treatment by the guest. A security camera would have alleviated a lot of this.

Recently my wife, son and I returned from a road trip where, on the first night of our journey and after a long days drive ,we stayed at Americas Best Value Inn in Ironwood, Michigan. This is a modest priced basic roadside Inn that offers good value, clean accommodations and as is the "norm" in many comparable places - a continental breakfast in the morning. Upon arrival we were greeted by Candy who put a smile on my face. Her bubbly personalty overflowed and as we were (I believe) the last s... Read more

The room was clean, large, and very pleasant to stay in. The clerks were very accommodating by checking us in, reviewing the amenities, and advising of nearby sites and restaurants. The breakfast bar food was good and there was plenty to eat. I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay. Special thanks to Tracy and Kathy.

There was a problem with my reservation which was not the hotels fault. Candy explained what had happen. She then gave us a great rate and upgraded room to make up for the problems. Again not their fault. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were very impressed.

I have stayed here several times in the past few months and have been impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the need to provide superior service from the staff. Tracy the manager makes it a point to make you feel good about your choice to stay at her Hotel. She even saved and returned my favorite pillow i left behind from my previous visit.

We drove all the way across Wisconsin on a Friday evening without finding a place to stay. We pulled into Americas Best Value Inn in Ironwood hoping for the best.............and we found it! We were so impressed that we stayed for two nights. The staff was exceptionally pleasant, the room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

We came for a 1 night stay and were overall pleased. Bring your own toiletries because the ones they provide smell awful. The continental breakfast was small but sufficient. The dining area is basically the lobby with a few tables so you may not get a seat. Friendly staff! We came across info about cheap kayak rentals on Sunday Lake just down the road so we headed out to do that and didn't really hang out at the hotel much. Left well rested.

We arrived just around 2pm and attended the desk to check in. Upon approaching the desk the lady at the desk (Kathy) at the same time I was reading a sign that advised "no early check in, check in time is 4pm" simply pointed to the sign without saying a word. I joked that we were going to have to find something to do for the next two hours and she started shuffling papers again without a word so I mistakenly thought she was checking her lists to see if a room was available that housekeeping ... For budget friendly couples, nice place. Most comfortable beds, nice rooms. Very clean... breakfast was sparse for health conscious folks, but very friendly. Nearby Hurley, just over the MI/WI border is Sharons, small cafe coffee, for hot breakfast. Definitely stay here again for Lake Superior waterfall tours. Not much literature for scenic things to do though.

We arrived in Ironwood at 1:00 AM and needed a place to stay. The lobby is very musty smelling, the Danish for breakfast was out in the open at the front desk. The rooms were also musty but not as bad as t he lobby. Not vary good breakfast items, couldn't even eat the danish. Coffee was just ok. Too expensive.
