Girls get away for a couple of days to see the tulips in Holland MI. The hotel is just a short drive to downtown and the tulip festival. We enjoyed a great breakfast with a nice eating area with plenty of room for everyone as the hotel appeared to be booked full. We had a typical Hampton Inn room that was clean and comfortable with a pull out bed that was like most, not that comfortable but they never are. Stayed here over the holiday weekend. The hotel was very busy but nice. The staff was very friendly and let us check in early.Given the large amount of people in the hotel the staff did a fantastic job with housekeeping and breakfast. The hotel is very well run and would definitely stay here again next time when coming to Holland. The rooms are standard Hampton Inn.

I reviewed this hotel a several months ago. It was a poor report. We wanted to try this Hampton one more time since we had good experiences in years past. Something has changed. When we first started coming to this hotel, we could count on clean quiet rooms and good breakfasts served by mature, competent, friendly, and interested employees. Unlike the visit immediately prior to this one, our room was quiet. Breakfasts, unfortunately, were still staffed by disinterested unfriendly young people. L... Read more

The Hampton in Holland, Mi. was excellent. All the personal was very friendly and helpful. Suggestion: My wife and I enjoy eating our meals outside near the fountain. We did have to clean the chairs we sat on every morning (5) and every evening. Perhaps someone should clean the chairs on a daily basis. We will be back to visit at this lovely hotel.

We drove to Holland from Toronto so you can imagine my dismay when we found out cancelled our reservation and didn't bother to inform us. But this is where the staff at Hampton Inn proved that their business truly is hospitality - they went to great lengths to find the booking and even when they didn't, and despite my irate mood, their friendly attitude and calm demeanor allowed me to get my bearings and work it all out. The Hampton Inn in Holland offered us a good stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and of a good size. We enjoyed having a balcony the overlooked the pool area. The pool is very large, especially for a Hampton Inn, and there is also a nice sized arcade by the pool, which would be ideal for families. This is a large Hampton Inn, located a bit far from town center. Many large family groups were in the hotel, which made for a crowded pool and busy breakfast service, but the staff did a great job of handling the dining room operation. I'd suggest choosing your room carefully, as corridors are long and there are many noise sources (ice machines, open stairwells, elevators).

We do enjoy Hampton Inn properties in general and this was no exception. I will get right to the pros and cons: PROS: - BREAKFAST INCLUDED: This is a huge part of what we enjoy about Hampton Inns, since the breakfasts each day save us time and money. The breakfast was good, but not great. It had less choice than some Hamptons and it was *busy* on weekend days. Rooms are nice and the staff is very helpful. Usually Hampton Inns do not have a restaurant but this one does. I had the perch dinner and was pleasantly surprised. It was very good. I usually stay at Hampton's when I'm travelling for work or for sports events. After reading the glowing Trip Advisor reviews for this place, we decided to take a chance. As other reviewers have stated, most beach accommodations only allow for 1 week blocks to be reserved, so we were swayed by the flexibility of Hampton. Good location in Holland, MI. Many restaurants in area, hotel is just off 31/196 which is the main road through area. Hotel has bar, food, and indoor pool. Rooms seem to have been recently renovated, clean and spacious.

This Hampton Inn is definitely on par with other Hampton Inn's we have stayed in the past. There was nothing that made it stand out as being a #1 rating, but then I've not stayed at the other hotels in Holland. It is slightly north of downtown, but it is very convenient to get to any of the Holland restaurants and attractions. We were worried when we arrived to find multiple high school boys tennis teams there for a tournament, but noise was never a problem. Certainly would stay here again.

Very nice, clean hotel. Pleasant set up and amenities. Pool area and game room is a nice area for teens to hangout and relax. Room was clean and nice size bathroom. Nice tile entry into room and bathroom. Sheets and bedding were very comfortable and luxurious.

it was really pretty good, They were very nice although but they could have done better. the pool was dirty and the hottub was disgusting. The food was good, as good as "hotel food" gets. And the beds were very comfortable. They were nice and soft.

My husband and I came to enjoy a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. We followed trip advisor and got 4th floor for quietness and privacy. Unfortunately our room looked across the parking lot at another hotels rooms for the 3 nights we stayed. Made opening curtains impossible without someone looking back at you. Breakfast was a nice variety of foods and well stocked. Pool /common areas clean and spacious. Décor throughout hotel nice. Pool too cold to swim in and hot tubs not hot enough to ke... Read more

The staff always try to accommodate my wishes as to room location. Also if i need an extra pillow or want additional water or tea no issue. Breakfast is Ok and typical Hampton. Great location near my customers and restaurants and shops for anything I need.

So my first alert was the moment i walked in the front lobby door to a foul smell, musty, pungent and worse than a dog smells when wet. But, i thought it might just be the reason they were replacing carpet at the front desk area which was tacky due to the recent carpet removal. Being a Hilton Honors member and staying almost exclusively at this chain, the front desk attendant assigned me room 138. As i walked down the hall the foul smell continued and at times seemed to come and go until i enter... Read more

We were very impressed with this Hampton from the get go. The staff is friendly and helpful. Even tho we did not use the pool I was impressed to see that a towel was on every chair in the pool area. Nice touch since you won't have to hunt a staff member down to get a towel. My husband used the fitness room. He felt that the temperature was good, towels were provided, tv worked well. There was one treadmill that was not working. The breakfast items were kept well stocked and there was no shortage... Read more

The Hotel is very nice very nice people. The bar is also a great place to hang out. The staff is very friendly and eager to help you. They have a lot of sports on the televisions. The juke box also has great music on it. The prices in the bar are very reasonable. I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean and you get a good nights rest. Thank you to the staff at this Hampton Inn

Stayed many times at this hotel and will again in the future. The quality and service is good and well situated for the local amenities in Holland. It is one of the best Hampton Inn's I stay at in the USA.

This is a clean hotel with courteous staff. I would stay there again, if I knew it wasn't hockey season. We unfortunately experienced that chaos that comes from lots of young teens running around up until midnight. It was incredibly loud where we were sleeping. Also, we selected this hotel, because the pool was beautiful. Unfortunately, it was ice cold. Perhaps the hockey players like it that way? The breakfast is awesome and the place is clean. If you can steer clear of the hockey nights and ar... Read more

Overall this was exactly what we've come to expect from Hampton Inn; clean, quality service. The breakfast area was better than we've experienced in other hotels. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. An excellent experience.

Nice hotel. Great game area and pool. Outdoor hot tub great and bar great too. Room spacious and comfortable and clean. Housekeeping knocked way early though and breakfast was literally cleared away at 958 right underneath and others who were still eating

This Hampton Inn was he nicest I've ever stayed in! Easy check in, spacious clean rooms with "coffee area" including microwave & small fridge. The staff were friendly & the breakfast area was larger than most & spread out enough to not feel like you were sharing breakfast with strangers. I would definitely recommend this!

Though the highway 31 was "under construction" we found this Hilton and after a long, over five hour, drive we arrived at a very welcoming Hampton! This place was very clean and bright and the room with the King size bed and nice shower and all the other amenities provided made our stay so great! Though we were in Holland for a wedding and did not have much time to enjoy the pool and hot tub we thought they looked so inviting! Next time in Holland you should look for this Hampton off 31! NICE!!

Normally, I can depend upon trip advisor to select a great room, this did not meet my standards. However, I have to say that I can see the attraction for other folks. First, I would want to encourage other visitors to get downtown, if you are a tourist. This place is NOT downtown. Now, if you want every hotel, motel, chainstore around you fine. But DO NOT expect to get out and walk around town. Not happening. No sidewalks, tons of traffic, etc. The breakfast was good and plentiful. If I... Read more

I think that this Hampton is average for the company. I did feel that the price for the room was higher than it should be at this time of year(Fall) and the area in which it is located. There were no special events taking place and there are several hotels in the area with lower prices on the rooms.

The place had a bed and a shower and was quiet. It had other amenities but I was on business and so at the end of the day I could enter my room and shut out the freaking world and watch FOX NEWS (as long as some libturd had not unplugged the FOX News feed). Doesn't matter I am voting TRUMP 2016. Hopefully it makes a difference. Thanks ;-)

My husband and I were visiting Holland for 2 nights and found the Hampton Inn very clean and quiet. We had a first floor room with a walk in shower with seats that I wasn't expecting but found very convenient. Breakfast is included offering a wide variety of things to get your day going. At night this area turns into a bar--nice to have on property too. We will definitely come back!

Rooms where clean but mold growing in the shower and staff at night was very disrespectful towards guests. My kids did love the game room the hotel had and breakfast had something for everyone both days we were there

Friendly staff, efficient. Good free breakfast. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Quiet and appreciated we got the 4th floor room we wanted. Good value for the money considering the cost of breakfast out and the quality of the room. We have stayed at other Hotels for less and the rooms smelled and it was noisy, so very little rest.

Great hotel for families - pool and hot tub were clean and the pool area had lots of tables and chairs. The room was spacious and we didn't feel cramped. They had flavored creamer - so breakfast was great. We will definitely stay here again.
