Being such a new property, everything looked great. Beautiful pool area, rooms, fitness area. Small workout area, but everything you need. Stayed there for a family event, because the city was so booked with other things, but glad we did. I live in town and had out of town guests, and being from here didn't ever know it was here. I'll recommend it to others. Must be a great benefit for anyone in town for medical treatment, being so close to so many medical centers.

Grand Rapids is a nice city with a small town feel. The hotel was in a good location, clean, spacious with helpful staff. It really helped make the trip enjoyable. I would stay there again and would recommend.

Its a beautiful hotel and a good night stay. There were two issues that we had while we were at this hotel. The hotel lost our reservation it took an extra 30 minutes to get us booked in. Also we had to pay for parking. Parking is 16 dollars per night.

This Hampton is fairly new and it shows. The Lobby is on 3 and it is open and modern. There is an outdoor patio just off the main lobby. The rooms are fresh and modern, offering a mini fridge and complimentary Wifi. They are spacious, clean, and quiet. The hotel sits atop a pretty decent Tex-Mex restaurant, as well as a good breakfast spot. It is easy on/off from the interstate and is located in a very nice area of Grand Rapids.

This Hampton does everything right-what a pleasant experience! The hotel was easy to locate with ample parking in a private garage. Our suite was comfortable and had everything as promised. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Pool area was inviting and well maintained. More importantly, the staff were super friendly and helpful-Great job!

Very nice room, with high ceilings. Fast elevators - it's the little things, you know? Room was clean, with large windows, and great views. Great location, near lots of food. Only downside was the shower - showerhead was so high, that i had to wash my hair with 3 tiny streams of water. But hopefully you're taller than me.

This hotel is fantastic. It's brand new so that definitely helps. But the beds are very comfortable. The sinks have tons of storage space and the breakfast is really good. Lots of options for breakfast. The staff we dealt with was very helpful and nice and my kids loved the pool area.

new hotel and spacious rooms. The suite was perfect for bachelorette party and others stayed on the same floor. Parking was a little confusing for some people and the distance is about a mile from downtown so we had to uber but that wasn't a problem. Would definitely stay again and we even have a block there for the upcoming wedding.

This is a great location with easy access to downtown. The facility is very new and we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a room that was 5 star and "huge"!!! Kelsey was very nice at the front desk and I knew she worked a long weekend and still greeted you with a smile!!!! Work out facilities are important to us and this one is very nice and not the typical "fake - we have a workout facility" and has all new equipment, TV's that work in the ellipticals, treadmills and bike. There... Read more

Nice, clean, new hotel, with large room, comfortable bed, nice public rooms, located close to medical facilities, but not close to city center, restaurants, bars or other city attractions. Price of room should include complimentary parking since the hotel is not within walking distance to city center and attractions other than medical center complexes.

I needed to find a moderate-priced hotel for a quick trip to Grand Rapids for business. I brought my husband and son along to enjoy the facilities before my meetings. We chose this hotel based on its proximity to my meeting place, but were thrilled with the quality of the accommodations. I didn't look carefully in advance to notice the fee for parking, and that was my only disappointment. The fee was reasonable and easy to pay, with unlimited in and out access. The staff were all very profes... Read more

This new hotel is immaculate and the staff was wonderful. Ben at the check-in desk was very friendly and accommodating, and went out of his way to make sure our stay was pleasant. Ben answered all of our questions and did it with a smile. He gave us great directions to the church for the wedding we were attending, and we arrived early, which was wonderful. The man and lady who were the attendants at the brunch the next morning were wonderful too. Hats off to all the staff who were working... Read more

I've stayed in Hampton Inns around the country, and this is one of the best I've viisted. I stayed here on business for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable, the lobby is immaculate, and the free breakfast (always a highlight!) was as delicious as ever. I made good use of the treadmill in the workout room. The staff epitomized the courtesy I expect at Hamptons. The only real downside is the location. "Downtown" is a bit of a misnomer; it's about a mile walk to the heart of downtown (w... Read more

We visited Grand Rapids for the first time for a wedding. We chose this hotel based on proximity to the wedding venue and reception which was very convenient. We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was new and clean as well as comfortable. We had no issues with noise either from outside sources or other guests. Breakfast was typical but tasty. The exercise room was well maintained. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area.

In town for family wedding and had a great stay. Impressed with newness of the rooms and amenities. Room huge for 3 adults. Although room was great, felt the rate was high, at over $200/night with parking.

We really enjoyed our visit. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, and the room was very comfortable and CLEAN, and well designed. The breakfast was delicious as well as having coffee and tea available 24-hours per day. Loved the card/key entry for the door, elevator and parking lot, which added to feeling secure during our visit.

This is a modern hotel. The only issue is the lack of lunch and dinner service. It's possible to order it and there are several restaurants in a 10 miles radius. We really enjoy our staying, the staff is second to none and this hotel will be our choice whenever we need to go back to Grand Rapids. Thank you.

I've stayed a upscale 5 star hotels that aren't as nice as this hotel. The decorating is beautiful. The front desk staff was so nice. The rooms were large and had DIrect TV. It's adjacent to Heritage Hill which makes for a lovely walk. The only downside was the noise from the freeway. It wasn't bad, but was noticeable. I highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay in Grand Rapids.

This is a great hotel. We reserved a block of rooms for out of town wedding guests. The response from the guests was overwhelmingly positive. Rooms are spacious, new, and clean. Front desk, sales staff, and housekeeping were very professional, thoughtful and went out of their way to help. Excellent location right off the highway and close to downtown. All was great. The only complaint is the decaf coffee was not hot at all; had to throw it away in the afternoon, evening, and the next morning. The oatmeal was not hot. But your new hotel was wonderful, clean, near to downtown. The service desk employees greeting us were wonderful, helpful and professional. Excellent customer service from them. Thank you much.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The hallways and rooms are very spacious. It is modern, clean and decorated quite nicely. I also loved all the little touches, such a small, lower ledge in the shower for shaving legs. The hot breakfast was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The use of room keys to operate the elevator is a comforting security measure. We will definitely be back!

This is a newer hotel about mile from downtown. It backs up to the freeway so it is convenient to everything. Rooms on the freeway side are a tad noisy but not really noticeable or sleep disturbing. Parking is close and in the same building with easy elevator access to the, lobby and your room. Nice large open and window bright lobby and breakfast sitting area. We just stayed here and had a fairly pleasant time! The place is beautiful and location is good if you want to be close to downtown without paying downtown costs. The complementary breakfast is fairly basic but my lactose-intolerant fiancee struggled to eat here. My company recently switched to using Hampton Inn for our stays in Grand Rapids. It is a beautiful hotel close to downtown and the rooms are spacious and clean. Room service - NONE !!, ok maybe i shouldn't expect this but after a long international flight I was hungry. The reception staff did however give me a list of food delivery places to the area. I am a business traveler and this hotel blew me away in decor, cleanliness, and customer service. If I travel back to Grand Rapids, I know where I am staying! Only negative thing I could say is the parking. When I arrived I did not know where to go; pull in the garage or park on the street? I may have missed signs but I went ahead and pulled in the garage and went to the third floor to check in. After checking in it is very easy to navigate.
