We checked in early for our stay today and decided on going to J Porters for lunch. Our server Whitley was incredible! It was like being taken care of by a friend!! No matter what we needed she took care of us! Food was a great, drinks were great and service was impeccable!

This place is average at best. Design is terrible as some rooms windows actually open onto the lobby and restaurant area. Make sure u ask for a room with a window to the parking lot (outside) which is preferable. Hate to open your blinds in your underwear only to flash the lobby guests. In the morning checking out the lobby lights were off and rather dark in there, I guess to not make it too bright for the rooms that are just above the check out counter. Just crazy! The restaurant is reall... Read more

I've stayed a few times on business. Many of my associates and customers stay here. Do do s lot of flight crews from the Flint Airport. It can get noisy with the flight crews coming and going at all times during the night so get a room away from the elevators. Good pool, whirlpool, exercise room and breakfast buffet, not included in the normal price. Restaurant and bar on site. Sometimes the service is good, sometimes it isn't. Breakfast wait staff is always good.

In town for a few days for business. The hotel staff are extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and updated. My room is extremely large with a jacuzzi tub in the room. The restaurant is fine and across the street is a very good steakhouse.

This hotel was a single night stop-over on a road trip. We didn't have high expectations so we weren't disappointed. The hotel looks as though it is primarily a conference hotel. We arrived on Memorial Day and the place was completely empty. We went to the bar for a bite to eat at around 9:00pm and it was ghost town with only 2 other couples at the bar's wide expanse. Service was pretty slow even with the lack of people and the food was only adequate. The room itself was fine though not fa... Read more

This hotel is in bad need of a renovation! The noise from the air conditioner forced us to move to another room at 9 pm. The next room was even worse! The hotel staff was very understanding, polite, and quick to react. They were more than willing to help but, there was simply nothing they could do to quiet the units. We moved to another hotel at 10 pm.

This hotel was very nice, but it felt better suited for business travelers and hosting conferences and events instead of family travel. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but no continental breakfast. Apparently, we were supposed to be given free breakfast vouchers at check-in, but never were. No refrigerator or microwave in the room, unless you pay an extra $10 for them. Nice and comfortable beds. Nice pool and small arcade area as well. Bathroom needs a vent fan to get rid of moisture,... Read more

There is always something that makes the experience here fall short. Today was the lack of internet to start off with. I arrived early before 4:00pm and my room was not ready. No probs, got a room that was. Had to report to file before 5 that was not met because there was not internet access. Called front desk and it as left up to me the guest to contact their internet service provider to solve the issue. 45 minutes later problem solved but not in time for me to file that important business... It was everything I thought it would be. Bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows. Bedding was soft and plush. I didn't run into any problems during my stay. I stayed on a Saturday and the pool was completely full of kids.

I was here because of a canceled flight. I didn't want to be here, but I was. Holiday Inn Flint made the delay most endurable! The shuttle driver was helpful, personable and blessedly on time both to and from airport unlike the airlines. Check in at the front desk was efficient, with a smile besides. Dinner at the bar was good. The lovely young bartender was efficient, very pleasant and made a single female traveler welcome. My room was clean and the bed comfy. I didn't use the pool, but... I want to take this time and say a huge thank you to Mary and the entire team who made our meetings and hotel stay the best. You truly know how to treat a guest and the food was amazing. Everyday we ate good!!!!! I super picky but I had no complaints. I had the catering team who also did an amazing job, Mary, her daughter, two Crystals.....all amazing!!! They really took care of my team and smiled while doing a job well done!!!! I can't say thank you enough.

I was very impressed with the prompt and diligent response that I received from the Front Office Manager. She went the extra mile to find and return an item left behind. Great job!! I will certainly stay here again when I am in the area.

Worked with Mary Kramer, Sales Manager, and Kim, Banquet Manager. Found staff easy to work with and accommodating of our needs for the conference. Were very flexible with various dietary needs for meals. Set up a great area for our exhibitors in the Atrium. All room setups were handled professionally and timely. Meals were good; facility was clean and well maintained. Our final bill was well within our original estimate. Great central location (by I-75, 475, and M-69) as we had attendees ... Read more

Stayed the night before my wedding to relax and unwind. Check in was smooth, front desk staff was top notch. Room wasn't very clean, shower was dark but used the jacuzzi tub instead. Couldn't enjoy the natural light coming in due to a man and wOman engaging in oral sex in the parking lot in their car... explain that to your minor child. Pool area was clean, as were hallways.

Hotel was a bit dated, but it was close to everything, airport restaurants and easy to get on and off the high way. Typical IHG, staff was polite and friendly. Room was nice size and clean, bathrooms were stocked as usual.

Had a business meeting here in enjoyed the board room I can tell you that the hotel itself is a bit dated the lobby is big and spacious there is a restaurant on site but the style just was reminiscent of something that was built along time ago perhaps the rooms are big and spacious and updated I did not stay there for the night just stay there for a meeting once again the meeting was fine thank you

A family wedding was held here in October 2016. When we went to check in after the wedding, imagine my surprise when the woman at the front desk told me I had already checked in. I shook my head, no I haven't, I'm here now. Well someone checked in and has the keys for that room I was told. It got even stranger when she decided to call the person ( family relative) to see if they had the keys to my room! Very strange. Finally she gave me another room. Obviously someone didn't check the name ... Read more

We attended the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction Wed, Oct 12, 2016. The Hotel's meeting room was gorgeous; the staff was wonderful; and when my head hit the pillow, I rested well in a very comfortable room. Restaurant does have a breakfast buffet but I chose to get a fluffy omelet with crispy potatoes from the menu.

I wish I could give this hotel a better review since the hotel and restaurant staff were knowledgeable about the area, greeted and welcomed me at every encounter, and were effective at their jobs. However, this hotel really needs an update. While surfaces in the rooms were clean they showed signs of wear and tear with stains and worn carpet. Housekeeping service was so-so, but I was only there for a short stay so it didn't matter. Upon check out the front desk staff did say that they were due fo... Read more

The facility is quite nice. The staff was exceptional. I had a room next to the elevator and although it wasn't that loud I don't understand why they put people in rooms with noise when the hotel isn't even close to full. I didn't complain or request a room change because it wasn't that big of a deal. The hotel restaurant wasn't as good as I would expect from the Holiday Inn brand.

Front desk staff, the evening I checked in, and the following day checking out...warm, friendly, very helpful and welcoming. Excellent!!! Property itself is a bit outdated. Rooms are average. The first room had an ongoing noise in the room from the heater. I requested an alternate room and front desk was very helpful in ensuring I was in a quiet room, very appreciative! I did appreciate the hotel's later checkout time of 12 Noon, since I'd spent the entire day before in several airports wi... Read more

We had our annual employee benefits open enrollment meeting at the convention center in this Hotel. The facilities were good, clean and well situated. The support staff was very helpful. They could have done a little better with signage but knowing this we'll do more next time to compensate. Overall, very good experience.

Hotel was clean and fairly updated. Rooms had nice beds that makes sleeping on road so much easier. Was disappointed that no complimentary breakfast and as a business traveler is something that I like to expect. Staff was friends and helpful with a question or two I had about places to eat close by.
