We spent a night here courtesy of Delta due to a flight delay. The hotel staff were welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and relatively quiet. Some noise could be heard when the room next door entered or exited their room. This is a convention style hotel and we were delighted to be entertained at breakfast by members of the North American International Banjo Convention! Poorly executed Benedicts. expected more especially for the price. Next door (blocked by a large fence) was dicey to say the least. Made us decide not to venture out. The bed/room was very nice, very comfortable.

Housekeeping well, I never saw them...they NEVER serviced my room...yes I had the do not disturb sign on at times but one day I left at 10am and returned at 7pm and no service, trash piling up, dirty towels, I had to call the front desk for new towels and they didn't even take old ones....very disappointed.

The only thing good I can say is the quality of the room very clean. The rest is a joke. The restaurant was horrible service for lunch & dinner and the staff didn't do anything about noise complaints, I must say this experience was not a good one.

The hotel is nice, and the guy who welcomed us was very friendly. The AC was a bit noisy, but our bed slept okay. The worst part for us was not having any hot water, and the lady at the front just saying some floors are like that today.

Stayed here one night on business. Check-in was very fast and friendly. Room was clean and a good size. Didn't use any other services so I can't comment on them. The only bad thing was that there was no toilet paper in the room. Not that it was rolls at all, not even empty ones.

While a fairly comfortable Hotel, The view from my room was disturbing, not the hotels fault but makes one think the area is not that safe. Staff was friendly and room was spotless and comfortable, Internet worked extremely well, unusual for many hotels. Was disappointed the HHonors loyalty program has been so diluted.

This Doubletree‚??s cleanliness falls below what I expect from a Hilton chain. The hotel has existed for quite a while and had a renovation at some time, and the structure is acceptable. It caters to business travelers, mostly automotive, and has an acceptable restaurant and meeting facilities. The cleanliness of the room was poor, with shortcomings that include pillows that had a human odor, dirty carpet, no cover on the comforter, and a bit of mold in the shower. I stayed here six nights for a conference. The accommodations were adequate, but they kept missing a beat. All of the towels were not replenished. Three people at dinner had to wait a long time for their dessert after the rest of the table had been served; a version of this happened at each meal. When I took the lid off the water tumbler in my room, there was water in it from a previous guest. The bartender did not know the drinks that two of us ordered: a Seabreeze and a Jack Daniels. I loved the fact that I could check in early online and pick my room. I purposely picked a room on a floor that wasn't full, to avoid any noise issues. Rooms were clean and updated. We ordered room service and it came within a decent time, was a decent portion and was good for "room service food". Of course, the prices for the meals was a bit on the high end, but this does not sway me from ordering room service again. The pool was a bit on the chilly side. Awesome service from check in to check out. I inquired about early check in and the front desk clerk did not hesitate to check to see if my room was ready. Only downside was the $50.00 "incidental" hold put on my account and the amount of time it took to credit back. The $4.00 per day is not bad considering the parking rates at other hotels.

I have addressed all issues regarding your property. The staff made a few mistakes and were not attentive enough to our reservation requests. The room was by the highway with a lot of traffic noise. We pay to sleep, not to be kept awake by noise. We require a cool room in order to sleep well. Your room thermostats are obviously programmed to prevent 68 degrees from being consistently achieved, and your hallways outside rooms were warm.

We spent one night here in July 2016. Check in was fast and easy (and came with cookies!), but we were put off by having to pay for parking. There's a giant, empty space around the hotel, so why do we pay for parking, especially when the signage says that the hotel is not responsible for the safety of your car or the items in it? The room was fine, the bathroom was big. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room, unfortunately. Overall, a decent room and stay, but nothing special.

Staff was extremely pleasant and professional, from reception to the bar.  The hotel, however, is pretty dated, and my room was not a winner. There were two filthy hand towels dried on the shower rod that I didn't notice until morning when I went to shower, and it was a 5 minute walk just to get to my room from the front desk/restaurant. The housekeeping service was poor. I realize my grandchildren had their pillows and blankets all over the one bed, but neither bed was made. None of the sheets were tucked in and it looked like they didn't try very hard to make the beds. Very lazy. Also, the edges around the pool and spas were green with mildew. The black and white historical pictures of cars in the halls was a nice touch. The package with the breakfast and the Ford museums tickets was a great value. Always enjoy the breakfast buffet.

This is a beautiful, immaculate, newly renovated facility with many amenities, such as a full-service restaurant, pool and jacuzzi, and fitness center, but the welcoming, helpful attitudes of the staff make it the exceptional hotel that it is.

This Doubletree is a wonderful and welcoming environment with a delightful staff who loves taking care of guests like they were guests in their own home. The lobby is quite pretty, the rooms are pleasant and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is quite delicious as well, even if not entirely diet friendly. The breakfast had a variety of fruit and some great egg and cheese combinations, as well as salmon on one day. Overall a delightful experience for a business traveler.

It's hit or miss at this property for maid service. Without a doubt, the most inconsistent staff in any Hilton property in the Detroit area. Apparently most of the maids think all they're supposed to do is fix the bed, they lie in it. I'd like to know why there's a human imprint on my bed each time like someone was lying on the outside cover. They DO NOT vacuum. All they do is change towels. They DO NOT clean the bathrooms. At breakfast,it's a buffet. The wait staff does NOTHING, but they expect... Read more

Hotel in ideal location for my business meeting. Bed was comfortable and room was quite. But, it was impossible to get the temperature cool enough. Had to blow dry my hair in bedroom area as bathroom was too hot. Maid service is lacking. Sort of made up bed. No dusting (and it was needed) and did not replace dirty glasses or bring additional coffee. I realized as soon as I got to airport that I left my watch behind. We stayed with a wedding group and were not put anywhere close to eachother, even on different floors. Anything requested prior to check in was not provided and after much headache trying to get them we gave up. Our rooms all had little things that were not right, shower doors miss hung, kleenex a mess, toiletries missing etc. As a whole we were un impressed and will not plan to come back.

2 nights at this hotel were enjoyable. Comfortable bed, clean and fresh room, coffee-making stuff and bathroom amenities good. Breakfast excellent. If eating dinner in the Grille Restaurant a good idea to book and pre-order at busy times. A special mention for Paige in the Restaurant who looked after my party of 4 very well both evenings. Convenient for visiting the Henry Ford Museum. I would stay here again.

Like any Double Tree I have stayed, very good quality and helpful staff. Beds are very comfortable and having an on site fitness room is key for me when working away. The hotel is very roomy, but quite easy to get disorientated in the corridors (more signs)? Would recommend.

This is my second stay at this hotel and my last. Housekeeping was poor, they even just skipped my room all together one day, forget to leave towels e.t.c. The swimming pool is way too small for such a large hotel. On the weekends the pool is overran by rowdy kids running through the halls, even when its adult time. When I brought it to the front desks attention, they gave me complementary breakfast coupons, which their breakfast is a joke, I didn't even use them. I did not feel safe in the park... Read more

This is a large hotel with a number of meeting rooms. It has a restaurant and a bar, although there are other chain restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are not extravagant, but very nice and quite clean. We stayed here two different times recently. On the first check-in, the desk clerks seemed distracted. We got our key but no guidance of how to get to our room or to the gated parking. I had to ask twice to get directions clear enough to find the room. Our room ended in *06 and LOVE... Read more

I was hoping for a nice getaway with my fiancé but when we got there we realized a hockey tournament was in town. The hockey boys were all over the place. If it wasn't for her we would have checked out early.

Visited last Saturday (10/22). It's a very decent hotel, one of the better ones in the area for the value, but I felt the need to come back and comment on the great service I received from the staff - in particular, the bartender (Shelly). The bar was packed with people, and she took the time to talk with me and explain all of their different beer offerings (before ultimately settling on a Bell's Best Brown). She even shared her expertise on some local attractions. I felt like more than sentient... Read more

I stayed at this property during ASAE and it was great. I stayed at this property because it was close to TPC Michigan which is where our golf outing was the next day. The room was very nice and clean. I also love my cookie I get every time I stay at a Double Tree. The only bad thing I experienced was the room service menu in my room was out dated so the meal I wanted to order was not available. I ordered the quinoa salad instead and it was great.

We stayed for a youth hockey tournament and were treated well at check-in. The front desk staff is excellent. A couple unfortunate items that may or may not be in the hotel's control: Our first morning we found several cars around ours had been broken into (broken windows). My stay was decent. The hotel is nice. Front desk staff is friendly and professional. However, room service needs more training. My coffee, coffee cups, and toiletries were never refilled. When the front desk was informed via phone they ensured the items would be delivered to the room. After waiting 30 minutes I decided it wasn't worth the wait and went to bed.

The rooms are as expected, the front desk was very friendly and the location was good. It's an older hotel but still presents well. Be forewarned that on weekends, families REALLY take advantage of the pool and it's hard to have your kids partake. The parking is gated for guests but free. My only real complaint is the breakfast buffet was not good. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Just 2 nights stay and it was very clean and staff were very pleasant. Buffet breakfast had a little of everything but the refilling of food was not very fast and we had to wait for staff to bring out more food both mornings. There is also a shuttle bus (I think). We recommend this hotel for the nice rooms they offer and we're already planning our next stay next month.

I did not stay the night at the Dearborn Double Tree, but I did utilize their airport valet parking and shuttle service. Costing less than half of other off site parking lots for Detroit Metro Airport, this is my new go to for airport parking. The staff was friendly and prompt. Both drop off and pick up were flawless experiences.
