My room wasn't cleaned for two straight days during my stay despite me calling/going to the front desk to ask for my room to be cleaned. Additionally, there were two light bulbs burned out in the room that also weren't replaced despite my requests. That being said, Willie was super helpful and the Valet crew were awesome. So, not all bad!

Spent a night at the Crowne Plaza for the Auto Show Charity Preview. The Hotel and our room was fine. They could have had more staff on the front desk knowing there would be a rush of people checking in from 3-4 P.M. for the Auto Show. There was a ice machine on every other floor. And the one on the floor below our room was broke. Had to go to the floor above our room to get ice. There was nothing in our room about the Restrauant Jefferson house in our book about the Hotel. Would have been help... Read more

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Check in is at this incredibly small driveway entrance where you completely block the driveway while you are checking in. Cold water made terrible and loud sound that mist have woken all surrounding rooms. I asked maintenence to look at it but nothing was fixed or reported back to me. In order to charge something to the room i had to walk over to the front counter, get my receipt stamped then walk back to the register at the store. When i tried... Read more

Very easy parking, with great valet service. Rooms were nice and clean. Location is great for walking to a lot of main bars. Only drawback was long check-in line, but it was NYE so maybe that's not the norm.

Stayed there for three nights in January 2017. Beds, pillows, and shower were very good. In room wifi, coffee, and television not so much. I was unable to use in room wifi to do work for my company. When connected through hotel wifi VPN connectivity was successful, but ssh (secure-shell) failed with error can't connect to host. An email I sent to hotel about the problem went unanswered. I was thankful for In room coffee but it was of low-end quality. in room TV was quite small.

I love this hotel. Great location. I did advise the front desk person not to say my room number out loud. The shower in the morning was really moaning, maybe it wasn't up yet. All small things, but overall great. Parking was a little expensive.

We stayed here while we were in town to watch a football game at Ford Field. This hotel is beautiful, easy to get to, and close to the people mover. Check in was easy and everyone was very friendly. Our room had two beds and plenty of room to move around and be comfortable. All we had to do was cross the street and go into COBO hall to catch the people mover. We enjoyed staying here, felt safe, and welcome. We would absolutely consider staying here again.

A great experience overall: beautiful lobby, great amenities (gym, rooftop restaurant), and a beautiful clean room. I think they have remodeled recently, and so bathrooms and bedrooms are spotless (we were on the 7th floor). Hope they keep it up! A perfect location: steps from GM buildings and riverfront, and in walking distance of all of the downtown area. Paying for parking seems to be an issue for many travelers, but we got a great hotel rate, and the convenience of the valet was fantastic.... Read more

This is a nice property and you get great service! The rooms are comfortable and clean, but some need very minor TLC. The staff are very polite and responsive (literally received extra blanket within 10 minutes of calling front desk)!
