We had plans to be in Detroit, making trips to several areas of the city over a few days. Being familiar with the area, we decided on Dearborn as our best base for this purpose. The reviews for this Red Roof facility were consistently high, so despite my reluctance over the red Roof brand, we made our booking there. I can not say enough great things about our experience there. When we pulled in, I noted the two well kept buildings set back off the road in nicely landscaped grounds....it felt imm... Read more

The rooms are fine. They aren't anything spectacular but for the price you can't expect much more. The staff however was incredibly friendly and engaging. I'm not just saying this they were really nice. That's very appreciative. Rooms were clean. Some wear around the edges, but I slept well and the showers were hot and clean.

This property is managed well and it shows throughout. Clean, quiet, great staff, comfy rooms, good internet, exceptional housekeeping, no problems with unruly guests and it's on a lovely setting by a river with lots of birds and other small wildlife. I ended up staying much, much longer than I expected and I couldn't have found a better property at the price of this one. My pet was welcome and there is adequate area to exercise her. I was thoroughly content with my last stay at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are always clean. The manager Janet is a breath of fresh air and went above and beyond for me on my previous stay when I encountered an issue with my Redicard rewards for a free night stay. The only location that I will stay in in the surrounding area. They always make me feel welcomed and show that they appreciate my business.

We came to visit the Henry Ford venues. Spent 3 days seeing a lot of very interesting stuff. Two nights at Red Roof. This motel was a great choice for us. Convenient to the museum. (5 or 10 min drive) We chose a superior king room. It had been updated with "wood" floors, a neat island desk, frig, micro, flat screen. Coffee maker. Very clean, nice bed, a/c was quieter than most. Excellent wifi. The staff are super helpful and professional. To be honest, this place is much nicer than I anticipated... Read more

Good coffee and nice grab bag breakfast. Had a nice room on second floor facing a wooded area. Plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. Room was clean and cool upon arrival. WiFi worked great and was free. Bed was a little hard and A/C was loud but worked well.

We are 78 years old and traveling with our daughters through Michigan. Checking in found us a good distance from our daughters room. Kay was so helpful in moving us to be near them. Found the rooms to be very clean - quiet. Letrice was also great in making us feel at home. The biggest surprise was the "breakfast bags" they had waiting for guests in the am. What a great idea. And, by the way, they have great coffee. Would recommend this Inn to anyone traveling in that area.

Very basic motel about two miles from The Henry Ford Museum. It was safe and clean. Don't expect frills; what they lacked in amenities they made up with cheerful, excellent customer service. Janet at the front desk was a delight. For breakfast you are just given a brown bag with an apple, water and an energy-granola bar. The overall place, although smaller, was cozy and charming.
