Every person that you meet is so pleasant. The room was updated. It was clean, quiet and convenient. It met our needs and we would come back in a heart beat! It is a great place to stop before going into Canada. The staff will assist you in giving great directions for restaurants. It is so accommodating!

We visit this small town at least 3 times a year. There are only 4-5 other hotels in the whole town. That being said it is very clean and the staff friendly. The room we had (a king) was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The hot breakfast exceeded our expectations (bacon, hash browns, fresh pastries) and was ample. Only complaint is I Iike my coffee very hot and very strong. The coffee no doubt suited everyone else but me. Recommend you stay there if you are there for short visit or however... Read more

Good room, Room was large and comfortable. The TV had Direct TV which we like very much. The bill was under our door and so check out was very easy. We were there for 2 breakfasts and both were good, lots of choices and different hot dishes each morning. I used their business room to print my boarding passes for the following day out of Detroit.

Very nice Hampton Inn. Rooms very clean. Bed comfy, but didn't like the pillows. They were too squishy. Breakfast was OK. Internet was not the greatest. Good location. Easy check-in and out. When couldn't find housekeeping person a maintenance man went out of his way to get what I needed.

We stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend , for just one night, while we attended a small gathering in a nearby community. (We are very loyal Marriott people and my husband stays in hotels roughly 15-20 nights a month, so he has seen good and bad hotel rooms!) I had called ahead to ask for an early checkin and we were graciously accommodated. Walking into the lobby we were impressed with the cleanliness and freshness of the hotel. The checkin staff (Kayla??) was pleasant. Our room was large ... Read more

The staff on all three shifts were great! Just as good at 2:00pm as 2:00am. Hotel and grounds clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great all three days. Great place to stay. The housekeeping staff were great!

On our way to Mackinac Island, Michigan and needed a place to rest for the night. This hotel fit the bill! Nothing fancy, but clean and friendly staff. Not a lot of chain food choices available, but they did have an Applebee's and Buffalo Wild Wings.

I submitted 2 wake up calls... one came in late, and the other did not come in at all. I called and told the desk, then was offered no compensation at check out, just an "I'm sorry". It felt like my late wake up call, when I was in town for business, was of little concern to the staff.

The beds were super comfortable. Was a little disappointed that early check in could not be accommodated. The breakfast would have been better if there was a meat option. Over all the stay was pleasant.

Overall, the hotel is not bad. The staff could use some addtional training in customer service. They did not greet us upon arrival or after we had an issue. I am an HH member and would stay here again in the future if the need arised.

We have been at this Hampton many times (our son goes to nearby college). This Hampton has NEVER let us down. Clean, quiet and great service. Great in-door pool. East access off 69. Couldn't recommend it any more highly.

Lovely, friendly welcoming staff spontaneously offered comp water bottles as daughter an I checked in after playing/coaching two softball games. Room and facilities really presented well throughout our stay ... But the dried Peach pit just left a little lingering doubt about room cleanliness as we stayed through weekend.

We stay at this location about 4 times per year and each visit shows more degradation as time marches on. Firstly, we get the fact that Michigan has gone through rough times, but Hilton management is not based in Michigan and should be fairly immune to state-wide stress. This facility has had no real competition until recently, as a new Holiday Inn Express is nearing completion right next door. Our latest stay, 7/1-7/3 2016 found us on the first floor with horribly stained carpet (looked like bl... Read more

This was a normal Hampton Inn stay. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the breakfast, it just didn't seem to be as good as others have had at other Hampton's. It seemed to me that hot items were over done, but that is just my opinion. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay.

The room was a double queen and upon immediate entry into the room , it was noticed that one bed had a dirty sheet. We addressed with the staff and the bed sheet was changed immediately..the tub drain emptied slowly to the point that as one person would take a shower ,water would be about two inches deep..We were not offered another room nor were we allowed to stay free , not that we expected it..simply saying that on the checkin desk there's a sign which states 100% right or it's free.It leaves ... I was pleasantly surprised at the price for a Saturday night's stay. The pool was was, indoors, and large so my grandkids had a good time. Because we checked in after nine the staff allowed my grandkids to stay in the pool longer than the 'rules' said. The kids appreciated it and they slept like a rock. The breakfast area is so large that people can walk to and from the buffet without knocking the backs of people's chairs. Really nice feature. I's stay here again.

We have never been to Coldwater Mi before. Our Niece was getting married at the Ponds and the Hampton was right off the interstate and convenient to many shopping areas. The quality of the service, rooms, and the cleanliness of the hotel was great!

This location is convenient to the city of Coldwater and a quiet location with nearby businesses for every need. The Hampton Inn is fairly new and has a great decor. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They worked with us to get transportation during an unexpected situation.

Friendly service, large room with fridge and microwave. The staff was very kind to our large family who congregated in the hotel lobby. At one point we were told to be quieter....there were maybe 30 of us, so we probably were all too noisy just talking.

Stay was AWFUL.....dirty room, WIFI that didn't work, desk chair that doesn't fit desk and a staff that doesn't care. I wouldn't stay here EVER again. I want to see how Hampton handles my request for refund. It has been a week since I emailed Corporate offices about the BAD experience and to date I have had NO response to my HORRIBLE experience. With so many choices of hotels it will be easy to move past Hampton in the future if they decide it is not important to respond to the experience I ... Read more

Definitely had a great experience here. The breakfast food was always full, just not the highest quality as far as the hot selections. Room was huge and had a big jetted tub. Everything was very clean. The only slight drawback I noticed was that it was evident that the rooms had not been redone in quite a while. Just a lot of wear and tear. The staff was excellent, very friendly and gave us great dinner recommendations!

The bathroom seemed dusty and as if bit much care had been taken to clean it. We found blood on the tissue dispenser and when reported the individual at the desk seemed apathetic. That's a Bloodborne pathogens issue!

I have stayed here a number of times. The place is always very clean, staff is over the top friendly, never any issues with check-in/check-out. Breakfast is outstanding. Free round-the-clock coffee is always hot and the cookies they have near the elevator are always freshly baked and delicious.

Stayed here for a quick weekend visit to Notre Dame. Had great service. Room was extremely clean. Staff was polite. And the free breakfast was extensive. Only issue I had was a lack of gluten free options, just an FYI if you need to eat gluten free, bring your own.

We stayed at this hotel in order to tour Hillsdale College which is about 18 miles away. That distance may sound far but the drive back and forth was quite easy and only about 25 minutes. Hotel was nice, room was clean and quiet. There were 4 or 5 restaurants within half a mile.

The only thing I could wish for out of this hotel is that it was closer to i80 than it is. It's about 15 minutes away. It's still the most convenient to where we were traveling, but I would have loved if it was closer and more convenient. The place was clean and comfortable. The a/c and heat was acting odd. We set the temperature at 75, but in the middle of the night it got unbelievably hot and the next morning it was freezing. The breakfast was nice, just wanted more fresh fruit.

Compared to our stay here a year ago, our 4 nights this year were not as enjoyable. This is an older Hampton that could use some new hallway carpeting as well as some room updates in furniture and lighting. The housekeeping staff does a good job and the shower pressure and hot water are adequate. Our first night was a Saturday and we were surrounded by pre-teen female soccer teams slamming doors continuously and racing through the hall. At 10PM I called the front desk and was told they had alrea... Read more

The hotel has been updated and is bright and clean. The front desk was welcoming. They still put the bill under the door at night which is nice since so many Hampton's now make you check out in the morning and want to email your bill rather than printing it. It is close to I-69 but not close enough for traffic noise.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was pretty good for hotel breakfast. Asked for my bill under my door but didn't get it so had to go to the desk to get a copy. The carpet had stains on it. I do not like the heavy comforters.

The only down side was the hotel is slightly isolated with limited restaurant choices nearby. I was on a motorcycle and when I stop for the night I walk to dinner. I ordered a pizza delivered from a marginal vendor.
