This Holiday Inn Express is a wonderful place to stay, The front desk employees are very friendly and helpful. I inquired about a later check out time, and with no problem, was given a later check out. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. This is at least our fourth stay here, and will keep on coming back. I was told a remodeling is going to take place soon, but i can;t see how they can back it look any better. We definitely will be back to check it out.

The breakfast setup is great compared to some other hotels. The food generally was good, although the omelet look alikes weren't cooked well and were rather plastic. We loved the warm cinnamon rolls! We had an issue with our in room hair dryer which was fixed while we were gone after reporting it to the front desk. The one thing we missed in this handicap accessible room was an attachment to the shower head and additional bars in the bathtub to make things easier to get around in there. The ... Read more

We were traveling to Mackinac Island and needed a half way point for our trip. We decided to stay in Frankenmuth and the majority of the hotels were booked or more than what we wanted to pay. I booked the Holiday Inn Express through AAA and was pleasantly surprised. Very clean, nice free breakfast and easy to get to. It was perfect for a quick overnight stay.

I had a great stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The staff was great and check in was quick and easy. It is far enough off the highway that I could not hear road noise. The Breakfast Buffet was fresh and plentiful, lots to choose from.. Spacious and clean room. WiFi worked great as well as the TV. .

We enjoyed our stay. Took a bit to deal with those big King pillows but great bed! The breakfast was fine. Don't care for folks in bare feet near the food but the food service gal told us last time she reminded someone "shoes were required at breakfast" they threw a bowlful of cereal in her face, so I would have been afraid to mention it too. Yikes!!!

Close to Birch Run outlets and Frankenmuth. Nice front staff, large seating area for lounging/free continental breakfast, small arcade room, vending machines, pool with large jacuzzi, small gym and decent rooms. Room has hair dryer, small fridge, microwave and keurig coffee maker. Bath & Body works products in bathroom. Room was mostly clean aside from corners, dusty lampshades and just plain old age of carpet, paint, etc.. The tv didn't turn on easily and the channels were sometimes difficult t... Read more

Came to town for the World Beer Fest. and needed a place to stay for 12 people. We got 6 rooms and had a great time. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good. The beds were comfortable. The lobby was clean and the staff very friendly. Will return next year.

We stayed here on a trip to Frankenmuth when all of the rooms everywhere were totally booked. I believe we got one of their last rooms. Unfortunately, when we got there they had our reservation slip and everything ready to go but no room for us. Eventually it got sorted out which was good. Otherwise, it was clean and quiet and we had no issues. The lady working the front desk was a gem and helped us find what we needed. Oh, the breakfast was fantastic!

This hotel is located just off I-75, near the Frankenmuth area and its Christmas-themed, Bavarian village. With all it had to offer, this Holiday Inn was a nice gift itself! New and well maintain, the hotel was clean and modern. The rooms are nicely decorated, and they have a comfortable feel. The staff was nice, and things operated smoothly, especially for a location that could be considered a tourist destination. Just outside of Flint, MI, this is a nice place to visit, and a great place to ... Read more

I have stayed in Birch Run/Frankenmuth once or twice each year for almost 30 years and have stayed in most all of the chain hotels but this is the one we keep coming back too. The rooms are quiet and clean and the elevator is fast. The beds are comfortable and spotless. The pool and hot tub are clean and perfect temperatures. The breakfast buffet is also very good and well organized. Today, We made use of the lobby for a couple of hours while waiting for a ride. They let us store our lugga... Read more

I want to start the review off by saying that for the last decade I worked at a five-star property so that is what I compare all my travels to. Upon arriving to the hotel I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel of new and very well kept. Upon walking and I was warmly greeted by the front desk woman who answered all of my questions and got me checked in in a very quick fashion which I appreciate. The hallways are very clean and well-lit . This is a dog friendly hotel but I did not see any dog h... Read more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. We had a wedding to attend, and have family in the area to visit. Great hotel. Personable, great staff. They work as a great team to provide the customer with a really awesome experience. Close to the Outlet Mall, restaurants, and the expressway. Lovely room with every amenity (soft, comfy bed and pillows; flat screen tv; microwave; mini fridge; ac/heater that is easy to control). Breakfast is good, as always. LOVE the cinnamon rolls!! Great hotel for the price! The common/lobby area is very roomy with comfy couches, waterfall esc decorations. We ordered takeout and were able to eat at the tables in the lobby. The pool seemed well maintained with towels available on the chairs poolside. Breakfast was FULL of options...the staff was consistently refilling the supply of food.

Staff was pleasant enough. Room was a bit dated and a/c noisy. The hair dryer vibrated and little air came out. The bed was comfy . Breakfast was okay. The price was good and it was close to the outlet mall and restaraunts. I would stay again for a value hotel unless I was looking for above average then I would be happy to pay a little more for it someplace else.

In town for a softball tournament, this was one of the most economical options for local hotels. Double queen room had a fridge/microwave/keurig. Clean and smelled good (at least it did until my daughter brought her cleats in). Hot breakfast was good, and replenished very timely - never had to wait for coffee even when it was busy. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our only issue during our stay was wifi - it was a crapshoot whether it would show up on our devices as an option, and even whe... Read more

Had a super easy check in. We got a great raete for a suite and it was just the thing we needed to end our trip! The remodeling is a little misleading, but don't let it fool you, the accommodations are above and beyond (IMO). We stayed here for a night in June, which is why we came back. Thank you for making our trip comfortable and enjoyable.

We really liked this hotel, less than 10 minutes from Frankenmuth at a fraction of the price. It seemed almost new. Everything was very new appearing and clean. Our room was in excellent condition and stocked far better than most hotel rooms. It seemed like a very safe area, it was right off the expressway and close to many shops and stores right in Birch Run. They had a nice pool area, fitness area, plenty of lighted parking with several entrances and the breakfast was very good, even comp... Read more

Carpet needs replaced. The heat seemed to be on in the hallway. The room was just okay. I wouldn't want to stay there for more than one night. The location was convenient though. The outside of the building was nice. The bathroom was large.

Great location for our family weekend get away. We spent a day in nearby Frankenmuth and a day shopping in Birch Run. Very clean, nice staff, my kids loved the pool, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The cost is a little bit more than other hotels in the area but worth it for the updated clean rooms and breakfast. I've stayed at others in Birch Run and this is my favorite.

Arrived late due to traffic and construction but front desk was understanding. Room was nice size and clean. In the morning breakfast was great. Eggs, pancakes and fruit along with sausage and bacon. Very nice place. The best Holiday Inn Express I have stayed at. Great location. The only problem I had was the frig made a noise but wasn't disturbing

Had the pleasure of staying at the holiday inn in birch run. Was a very nice hotel. Clean, modern and quiet. Breakfast was good and the reason I tend to choose the express brand of hotels. Would recommend staying here if you're in the area and trying to save money from staying in downtown Frankenmuth

While on a 'memory lane' trip around the state of Michigan we had planned on staying in Frankenmuth, however we pulled smack dab into the middle of a HUGE car show- not being car show people, we had noooo idea to the size and scope of the show.. We ended up at the Birch Run Holiday Express and got the last room. Our check in auditor, and breakfast crew were all very helpful and great customer service. Booked two nights here online. When we arrived, surprise, here we had stayed here about 3 years ago. I guess we go away too often and don't remember every place until we arrive. Nice hot breakfast is included, free wifi, free coffee any time. Plus the rooms are clean. It's close to everything so that's a huge bonus. I'm sure we will stay here again next time we are in the area.

This place is well tucked-away from the roads so it is very quiet. My room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast area downstairs was very spacious. The staff was probably the friendliest of all of the Holiday Inn Express locations I have stayed in. It was a very relaxing stay.

What a spacios suite!! As a Spire IHG member, the upgrade was better than expected. King bed, in room jucuzzi, living room, kitchen and two full bathrooms. Complete with fridge and microwave. 2 televisions and a total of 3 windows in this corner suite that can be opened for fresh air! Floor was a bit odd. You could feel stuff under the carpet, pipes maybe? Not sure. I would guess its an older building but quite large, lots of rooms. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast included, p... Read more
