Place is too close to interstate, trucks run across second floor. No Sound protecting windows and to make it all worse the ac fan can not be turned off. Argument, it helps to protect from the street noise??? Had to use my noise cancelling headphones to get to sleep

A good hotel with pleasant staff. Always there to greet you. Variety of food at the complimentary breakfast. Rooms returned to perfection every day. Adequate parking. Will stay here during my next visit.

I had booked the room for the wrong day. We arrived late and we were very tired after driving for 11 hours. I found the room was booked for Monday not Thursday which was when we arrived. Thankfully they had a room and then the pleasant stay began. Quick change of the reservation and check into the room and off to sleep we went. The internet worked well with little hassle. Tv helped calm us down and off to slumber win the clean bed. The next morning had a great warm breakfast with eggs, sausage, ... Read more

The hotel grounds, room and pool were all very clean. Staff was friendly quick and efficient. The breakfast was Ok but was expecting a bigger variety. Overall the experience was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and gladly stay there again.

Look at the photos and you will see 1) one curly pubic like hair 2) one longer hair 3) extremely unsanitary hot tub. I stayed here May 13-14 for a baseball tournament. The first room had hairs on both beds. We were moved to another room when I told the lady at the reception desk about the short curly hair and other hair. Even though our room had a sticky note saying the sheets and comforter were cleaned, apparently they were not. That 2nd room was cleaner but was so noisy I needed earplugs.... Read more

The office staff was excellent! Had to change dates on a sold out weekend due to a death. Hilton headquarters should take a lesson from this staff. Pool and hot tub excellent and location is near stores and places to eat.

Staff very friendly on arrival. We were earlier than expected but they went directly to work preparing the room. Complimentary breakfast was quite good and there was plenty even though they were nearly full with traveling baseball players who swamped them all at once! Lobby coffee is quite good. Price is a bit higher than other hotels in the area. If I was purely budget driven, that might keep me away but we've come to expect a nice stay here.

Great location, could be cleaner, nice staff, rooms are good but could use attention to detail and a few updates, fridge loud, tv no hdmi port available. 217 entry door had to be lifted in order to close it. The shower stall upon close inspection showed faint signs of current mold or stains, maybe vacant for a while do to the entry door problem.

This was a small hotel but with great service and staff. I've stayed at many hotels and while the amenities are good at the end of the day it comes down to your room and rest. The room was lovely, clean and had an amazing bed. Felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. It was a great location.

Exceptional on every level!!!!! Nice breakfast area... neat indoor pool.... free coffee and water... AND THE MANAGEMENT TEAM WAS WONDERFUL. I was caught in a very bad situation and needed a room during a weekend baseball event. The hotel got me into a room and the manager even went out and laid cones in the parking lot to reserve a place for a 45' motorcoach for my stay. The beds were outstanding and the room was just PERFECT.

Had a wonderful night, room was very clean. Staff was exceptionally nice. The morning breakfast was pretty good and was the pride of the staff as they continually tended to it while we were there to make sure we had what we needed and more. I would highly recommend this hotel. There was a major accident the morning we left and the staff gave us directions to avoid the accident. I was very impressed.

Room & Breakfast up to (above average for all hotels) Hampton Inn 2016 standards I have experienced anywhere. Front desk staff do not appear to care really much ... not rude, not warm either. Tiny, sub-optimal fitness room, small but well kept pool. Okay hotel for quick in and out stays ...

I had high hopes after the reviews on here. Kind of disappointed after pulling up. Outside is being fixed or something so it looks a mess out front. They didn't have elevators which is tough when you have little kids and strollers/multiple bags etc. It was generally pretty clean but furnishings were cheap and quality of building materials was cheap (bathroom.) also a coffee maker in the bathroom next to the toilet? Thought that was kind of gross. Breakfast was good. No fruit though :(

The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful. The hotel is easy access to the highway but there was no road noise. There are many stores nearby in case you forgot anything. There is also a Bob Evans next door which is great for those who want a real breakfast.

Everything was excellent except the breakfast. The breakfast made the slightly higher price not worth it. Pre-packaged microwaved omelets were less than satisfying. Microwave hash browns. Make-your own waffles were good. A few yogurts, a small selection of fruit, choices of cereal. Hard boiled eggs. We ended up getting breakfast elsewhere on our second morning.

Hotel offered amenities such as pool, fitness room and free breakfast was one of the best and offered the most healthy choices we have seen. Could not ask for anything more.

My son and I had stayed two nights for a baseball tournament in Battle Creek, MI. We stayed two nights, kept winning, so had to stay an additional night. We were given a room that there appeared to be some water related incident because the carpet had just been cleaned and entry way and bathroom floor may have been waxed-it was very slippery. Asked for a room change, but had to wait because a powerful storm had knocked out the hotel power and the surrounding businesses. Return after playing t... Read more

I like the location of the Hampton, and the Staff was again above average. They were friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast buffet was good. We found that on this stay, that the Hotel was not quite as clean as earlier stays, and not as quiet. I think that the traveling baseball teams etc. are their main customers, and then there are all the others. Anytime you have a lot of young folks traveling, they sometimes lose respect for others. Overall it is a good place to stay, but always get t... Read more

It was okay. It was a clean room other than the bathtub. It only had one towel so we had to find someone to get us another towel. Not impressed with this hotel compared to other Hampton Inns. Some staff was very helpful and others acted as if they did not care. Breakfast okay but sausage gravy and biscuits - very peppery and runny.

We found the room to be very nice and the beds to be comfortable. We had a good night's sleep and a nice breakfast. It was not very busy here. I suspect that the construction on the front of the hotel may scare a few people away. It should not. It had no effect on our stay and they do not start working until 9am. I love how the Hampton Inns give us bottled water when we arrive. I had to ask this guy, I am not sure why. Still, he gave it to us. I think having water is a great perk. I... Read more

Was shocked st the price i was given when I asked for my AARP discount. It increased the amount by 20 dollars!! She gave me the business rate without the great discount because that was cheaper. Really? How does that work? And the carpets were wet in my room, not damp, because they had just been shampooed. Didn't like that so much.

We ate at Applebys. The food was fairly good. I hav the salmon. Went to the mall to see a movie. Was sold out. Had a beer at BW-3s. At the hotel, the staff at the breakfast was exceptionally good. The hotel is tucked away off of a main street with a very small lobby. The rooms and the bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Room could be a little more soundproof could hear kids in the hallway. Checking out Sunday morning - breakfast closes at 10 which is way too early. The check in staff and the cleaning staff were very friendly and always said hello and greeted us. There is a small fridge in the room which is nice and a pantry in case you want to buy snacks in the lobby.

Upon check-in, the front desk clerk was very helpful. Upon check-out, I voiced my complaints about the room to the clerk (the off-going night clerk): 1) the entry door was difficult to close due to settling of the building, 2) the bathroom door would not close at all (same reason), 3) the overhead light in the bathroom did not work, and 4) the seat on the commode was very loose.
