Just came back from this hotel. Looks old, tired. The breakfast buffet, which I had to pay for, was very limited. The coffee left a lot to be desired. I just stayed at another chain which gave an excellent free breakfast and excellent coffee. The WiFi was very slow (could not use it). On the plus side was very clean and I was greeted courteously. Very convenient to University of Michigan. I probably will be going back to Ann Arbor, but will look for another place to stay.

Stayed here for 4 nights to attend my son's graduation. Only double beds available, would have preferrd queen as I was traveling alone. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet was not encouraging so I did not try it, I ate breakfast in restaurants downtown. The decor is dull, nothing creative about it. The free Wifi was good. It was adequate for the purpose of my stay.

My wife and I stay at this Hotel whenever we visit our daughter and grandson in Ann Arbor. It never disappoints. The room we had this last visit was spacious and very comfortable and clean. The hotel is quiet, affording us great sleep. Front desk staff was most welcoming and polite. We always order breakfast from the menu so I cannot report on the buffet but I can report that the oatmeal is great. Everything we needed, we received here.

We stayed for 5 days at the Holiday Inn while apartment hunting for a family member. The entrance is elegant, clean and spacious and with a pleasant aroma. The two-bed room and bathroom were clean, spacious and comfortable; towels and bedding were spotless. An observation: the carpet at the entrance of the room is screaming for a scrub; several stains here and there. The hotel has a restaurant open for breakfast and dinner. There is no free breakfast!

a friend and I stayed here over the weekend while we attended a conference. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the pool was very quiet we made full use of it! It is a walking distance from the mall! We really enjoyed the stay here

From the front desk being courteous and helpful from check-in to check-out (and requesting directions in-between) to the engaging bartender to the housekeeping staff who brought up more towels pretty much straight out of the dryer, it was a wonderful visit. The room was clean and comfortable, which is basically what one wants from a hotel anyway, right? Would absolutely stay here again if I have occasion to return to Ann Arbor. Maybe for that Zimmerman's run...

It was a clean room with a king size bed. We only stayed one night. Combined work with a one night getaway. The only problem we had was that check out was at 12:00 and we pushed it to the end and the maid staff entered without knocking.

I booked about 20 rooms per night for 4 nights. The meeting room accommodated 40 people very comfortably. The staff, from manager to front desk to servers to maid service and set-up personnel were wonderful. Every employee had the "yes, we can do that" attitude. I would highly recommend this property for overnight visitors (easy to get to and close to the mall) They have a shuttle available during the day to take people downtown and even picked up two of the attendees at the Ann Arbor a... This hotel was everything you want when you have to be away from home. Regardless of how many guests were in the hotel on a given night it was very quiet, beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, everything was very clean all around the property, every amenity was there, and the food was very good. But the most impressive thing about this property was the people who worked there. From the manager, front desk, the housekeeping staff, to the pool maint man each and every one went out of the... Spent time in Ann Arbor to visit my alma mater and needed a place near the campus, but not too expensive. Holiday Inn hit the mark. With a free breakfast to get me off to a quick start, I had an enjoyable visit. The location was so close to campus, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and as usual, a clean and fresh suite to enjoy.

I only stayed one night, but found this to be a great choice. Front desk was very courteous and professional. Hotel had everything needed including a complimentary computer/business suite, exercise room, and swimming pool. Guest room was very clean and tidy. I appreciated the logic of the room layout and soothing earth tones. King bed was great! Shuttle driver was very helpful, courteous and navigated well.

Booked a weekend university visit for myself and a high school senior. Easy to get to from the airport/freeway. Ended up booking a corner suite off of another website. The room had a king bed in a separate room, a couch, cozy chair, desk and a dining room table. This was helpful for bringing back lunch/dinner and for getting other work done. The separate room allow one to sleep later and not be disturbed.

Nice for a quick stay. Nothing fancy but still very good. The shower (water pressure, showerhead & temperature) was one of the best hotel showers ever. We ordered room service which was very good - reasonable prices and good food. The staff was very friendly. Close to everything. The only issue was the horrible breakfast - $8.99 for gross food. Gravy, no biscuits, the eggs were terrible and not much of a selection. Skip the breakfast, but otherwise highly recommend for the price.

Stayed here with my son for Homecoming at UofM. The hotel is located near Briarwood, so there are plenty of options for dining, however we opted to eat at the hotel. Dinner was good - mostly bar food, but a wide variety with decent prices. One nice feature is the shuttle that picks up across the street and drops off right at the stadium. For $3 round trip, this is a great perk! Shuttle vouchers can be purchased right at the front desk. Room was clean, nicely appointed, and a decent size. St... Read more

This hotel is significantly overpriced. The interior decor, carpeting, furniture and overall ambience have seen much better days. The property has a rundown feeling. This would have been acceptable if not for the high room rate.
