Good Location, Easy access to Ann Arbor and University. Not the most friendly staff, but pretty much hands off. Room was a little cramped, but clean (other than bathroom floor). Not really the best value for the price.

Everything I needed was in the area. The staff was very friendly. Domino's Farms, multiple restaurants. The Applebees was very nice and you get a 10% discount there. Will stay there again if in the area.

Great place, has an attached Applebee's, Lots of other restaurants nearby. Quiet & clean. Convenient to the University Hospital as you can avoid most of the rush hour traffic to get there. Short ride to the local mall or the downtown area.

Some of the staff clearly did not care to be working. On one morning the breakfast attendant was more interested in talking with the check in clerk than filling empty oatmeal, fruit, coffee, and waffle batter. The crew on the following day was much better. Typical Hampton food, below average.

We stayed at this hotel over a busy weekend, but the desk staff always had time to meet our needs. Check-in and checkout were fast, staff were extremely friendly. The room was very clean and though it was small, the space was used efficiently so it felt much more roomy. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast bar was pretty standard, but the staff again were great - they made sure everything stayed warm and stocked even during a very busy Saturday morning rush. I like the location of this Hampton for work. I love that there is an Applebee's attached so that I can step away from work and not go too far to eat. When I arrived this trip, I was told there would be no running water until mid-evening, which was inconvenient for cleaning up after traveling all day. I just would have liked to receive a call or text letting me know.

We stayed here to be close to the Michigan International Speedway. The hotel was clean, comfortable but what stood out was the friendliness of the staff, especially the Michelle. She could not have been more helpful and really went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She was delightful. Our only feedback would be that our bathroom needed more towel hooks.

I stay at Hamptons a lot because they are so consistent in their quality and I am not disappointed again. I like the breakfast, the service, how quiet they usually are. This one I stayed in room 101 and it was nice and quiet and easy to access. One of my favorite things they have is the work desk that rolls around so I can position it to watch TV or use the TV as a monitor with my Surface Pro. I'd definitely stay here again next time I work in the area.

I have stayed at this hotel before a few years ago. I couldn't believe how much it has deteriorated, air conditioning only cools half of the room, not good in 90 degree weather, good thing we brought a fan, water condensation created dampness in the room. The couch faces the microwave and refrigerator. The price per night was outrageous. I will say they did take $20. Off for the night, but still was over priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It is connected to Applebees next door by a enclosed patio with a 10%disc poo nut on meals when you show your room key card. No complaints from me. Also close to the highway exit 41 with small malls, drug stores & gas stations nearby.

Staff is wonderful. Lovely environment. Not so far from center of Ann Arbor. Rooms are very good furnished. Beyond expectations for a Hampton standards. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel building. So it covers the missing of a restaurant as usual in Hamptons.

We picked this place because of proximity to the Bentley library for our research project, but will return because it was so pleasant the next time we go. It was close to all conceivable amenities, had a lovely indoor pool, and a nice breakfast area with a decent breakfast. There is unusually pretty woodwork in the rooms. The TV is also good: all the premium channels and a late model TV set with a good clear picture and fresh batteries in the remote. The personal service here is also very good. T... Read more

We arrived on Friday and they had a grill going out front to start the tailgating early! The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very busy given football weekend but they did open another room to sit. We thought this was a great location--easy and quick to get downtown. It was very clean and quiet and our room stayed very dark. Plenty of free parking. Applebee's right next door.

Ok, I can be a bit much when it comes to hotels. But from our checking in and how pleasant the front desk was to the cleanliness of the room I was IMPRESSED! The bathroom was so clean, no black spots on the caulking like you tend to see. The carpet was updated everything was clean. The hallways were clean didn't smell musty. We were here visiting U of M so it was definitely a good pick. Applebees is connected and you get 10% off. The front desk always greeted on our coming in and out. Than... Read more

Stayed here for parents weekend at UMich. The room was decent and clean, but the configuration was unusual with a small bathroom and a bit cramped. The service also was good. The cost however was expensive due to high demand during parents weekend. This hotel is a decent option and we would stay here again, but I waould not pay the amount I paid for a comparable hotel under normal circumstances and demand

Stayed the weekend at the Hampton Inn while visiting family in Ann Arbor. The hotel had friendly staff and a good hot breakfast. Our room was very spacious and the Directv was a plus. Will stay again.

Stayed here using a discount for a trip to the U of M Cancer Center. Our queen bed felt like it dipped in the middle. We rented two rooms, one handicapped. The handicapped room didn't have a handicap shower, as it wasn't a walk in shower. The heater in the room didn't work, so we called maintenance, and the guy was very good fixing it. The complimentary breakfast was ok, but coffee was up by the front desk and a long way for a handicap person to get to.

Not a bad hotel would've like for the rooms to have been a tad larger for space, as well as cleaner bathroom. Internet access was decent, you have option to get a faster speed. Breakfast that is offered is pretty good.

Have stayed at a lot of Hampton's over the years. This location really gets it. Will be back. The front desk personnel were very friendly and made a good stay even better. Same for breakfast team. Food quality better than others as well. They care here.

At first glance the place was nice and clean. Check in was fast and easy. Went up to our room, the room was a little on the small side (2 queen beds), the lighting in the room was terrible. The room however was very clean. Went to the ice rink for the day when we came back to our room the TV did not work had to call down to the front desk they sent maintenance up to look at it something needed to be reset. Next day we spent all of it at the rink came back we were shorted towels stopped at the fr... Read more

This is a good hotel. Consistent Hamton Inn quality. Easily accessible, lots of eating places near by. Only criticism, fitness center is not really usable, but they give you free access to a nearby fitness facility to accommodate for this. Friendly staff and overall a good stay. Would stay here again in the future.
