I enjoyed a 2 day stay recently at the Cove. The rooms were very spacious and the mini fridge/small kitchenette area was very useful. I really liked the loft bedroom and large glassed in shower on the upper room, but if you prefer a tub/shower there is one on the first floor. The bed was comfy and the skylight let in the morning light. Nice living room area and big TV. The pool area was HUGE and looked very inviting although I didn't swim. The restaurant wasn't open while I was there so I can't... Read more

Great location, great restaurant on site. Townhouse was very convenient with a kitchen and mini fridge. Room was very clean and cool. No elevator to the 2nd floor but not a big deal if you are only staying a few nights and do not have to much luggage. It was a little more pricey then we were expecting but there are a lot of ammeneties so it was worth it. We will definitely stay here again.

Very clean Townhouse. However, we were disappointed since we were told upon check in that we had a first floor suite. Not so...we had a townhouse The Townhouses are up 2 flights of stairs and then a long walk to your unit. It is not easy to navigate stairs and long corridors while carrying luggage and supplies! The townhouse also has more stairs to the bedroom! The place has an indoor and outdoor pool and other amenities available. However, it is now off our radar because we are getting older a... Read more

As always the resort is meticulously maintained, sevice exceptional and amenities aplenty. We purchased this prime week in 1986 with the use As that it would force us to vacation at least once a year. Now the grandchildren are enjoying The Cove and the beautiful beaches nearby.

We stayed for two nights at "The Cove", and while we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities, we had a very good time. We enjoyed the indoor pool with the kids for the morning and the evenings. We were mostly out on the island for most of the days. We got a duplex room with a view of the indoor pool. It was a nice and clean room that looked newly refreshed. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The duplex also had two bathrooms which was very nice because the kids could take a b... Read more

This is a beautiful resort hotel complete with indoor and outdoor pools. Hot tub recreational center for the family. Restaurant on premises and spacious townhomes and suites. Rooms are clean and updated with kitchenettes and essentials for cooking and preparing food in your room. Townhomes have one bedroom and pull out sofa in the living room area. Plenty of activities for the children run by the activities staff on site. The fire pit and Bay Area out back are great for night time family gat... Read more

I split my time here with my grown daughter (girls weekend away) & my husband. The townhouse we had (#518) was clean, our window view was of the back of the property with peeks of the cove behind us, through the boarder of trees. It was a quiet area of the resort. There was plenty of spots to park. The only thing we didn't care for was there is no door on the upstairs bedroom & the wall didn't go all the way up to the ceiling. Because of this, if one person was going to watch TV & the other per... Read more

My parents own a time share at the cove. I was able to stay there a couple of times through them while planning my wedding on the cape. The staff was incredibly helpful. The rooms are updated and kept clean. I couldn't have been happier staying there!

We have been coming to The Cove for about 24 yrs now. We have seen a lot of people come and go. A great place for all ages. BUT that being said.. if you have anyone in your family with walking difficulty and needs any type of assistance. Do not get a townhouse.. there are NO ELEVATORS here. Which is a shame.. Lots of activity's for the young kids. Can't wait until next year when all the new renovations will be done with the out door pool! So exciting!!!

We've been coming here for over 30 years. The place is kept up well. We enjoy hanging out at the pool and always end up meeting new people. Very friendly atmosphere. Glad we own a timeshare here. Also close to a lot of good restaurants on Main Street and Ocean Street in Hyannis.

Came down on Labor Day weekend, place is awesome, very clean, staff is friendly and helpful, a lot of walking because of the layout. They offer suites on the first floor and townhouses on the second. Large indoor pool and jacuzzi and a heated outdoor pool. It was nice having the Loft restaurant on site, so we didn't have to leave!

We were here as an exchange with our interval world. Room was average, had ants the first day, they sprayed and they were gone, silverfish on the last day. Very poor communication- they closed the restaurant for 'fall' and did not inform us. Towels were smaller then average, and quite thin. No coffee supplied for Keurig- had to buy it. Would not return.

The service, location & amenities are great. The have an excellent indoor pool and sport center plus another outdoor pool and tennis court. We are into tennis, so for us it was great. The onsite restaurant under new management is very good, but could use a little more selection in their menu. They also have live entertainment on the weekends.

The pros. Very clean. Spacious WARNING. If you get a townhouse you will have to deal with Stairs 16 stairs to get to the 2nd floor to the townhouse, no elevators so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The townhouse about 12 stairs to the bedroom, If you are 40 or 50 probably not a big deal but difficult for people older. Our room faced the inside pool. We did not have a window to look out to the outside. In the morning we would have to go out to the hallway to see what the weath... Read more

We found the townhouse to be very clean and super nice. The staff are all very friendly and courteous. The grounds are very well kept. Although we did not partake, there are a lot of activities....they have multiple pools, bingo, an activity room, tennis courts and The Loft restaurant. I would recommend the Cove to othe... Read more

We were in the area for a wedding and only stayed one night. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It is very nice, especially for the price. One star dropped for a long check in (room not ready, then keys not working), and one surly front desk clerk. Highly recommended for a family that does not care about being ON the beach, and anyone in the area for another reason.

First floor apartment, two rooms and two baths. Very nice and comfortable. Right off the indoor pool. Upon reaching the cove, my room wasn't ready, I was early and they said they would ask housekeeping to get it ready. I went to lunch. After an hour I returned, but it was another hour before I could get in. Other rooms were not ready at the check in time. Finally being able to get in I was told to use a door with multiple steps, some without a banister. A man helped me in and up the steps... Read more

In the end we had a great stay at The Cove, but it was a rocky start. Unknown to us 24 of the units there open onto the indoor pool. (Units 102-148) We arrived expecting ocean breezes and instead got only a door and window that let in chlorinated air from the pool. We complained and after our 2nd request after checking in (one by phone and one at the desk) thankfully we were able to switch to one of the two story townhouse units with windows giving fresh air. Those units are nicely updated, no c... Read more

We had reservations prior to our arrival, so a credit card was already used. We were told that we needed to use our credit card for incidentals. Unfortunately, after trying to run our card several times and for quite a few minutes, we were told their new system was giving them problems, and they ended up manually recording the number. (Not sure, I should have allowed this!). Another visitor was at the desk and asking questions about morning traffic on the cape. Rather than providing answers, ... Read more

Have been staying at the Cove since it was first built. The management does a really nice job of managing the property by keeping expenses down and maintenance. Every seven years or so the property gets a total overhaul and they start room renovations currently the garden room has one bedroom with a living room and a pull out couch and two full bathrooms. Has a wonderful double headed shower and granite surround the other bathroom has a granite top as well and a really nice soaking tub. The ki... Read more

Enjoyed our stay. Amenities were comfortable, staff pleasant. Fall leaves beginning to show their colors. Be sure to stop and hike along your way. Some beautiful spots. We spent four nights and plenty to explore each day. Took the dinner train adventure which was pleasant, easy to converse. Good was good.

Stayed here for weekend of 10/1 for a family wedding. Very modern, very clean. You can walk barefooted, and I think someone went through our townhouse with a white glove before we arrived. We had booked for one night, and then were able to snag the last room for another night.

This resort was not up to the same standards as most of the other resorts where we have done timeshare exchanges in the past. We may have gotten a bad unit, but ours was not a unit you would stroll through barefoot. They do have a wonderful spa. Check-in was easy. Steps to the units are a killer and there is no elevator or luggage racks to help you move in or out.

This was a timeshare exchange for us, and we had been here once before last summer. So here is the interesting thing, the exchange lists this as a 1 bedroom unit which sleeps 4, privacy for 2. Last year that was true when we were placed in a 1 floor unit which had a true 1 bedroom with a door, everything on the same level. This year we were placed in a townhouse type unit, with a living room, kitchenette and bath on 1 floor and the bedroom upstairs w/a bath. There was nothing private about the ... Read more

In looking at all the other timeshare properties in this area in person rather than in pictures, we made an excellent decision. The unit was clean (though the ceiling fan needed to be dusted) and well-appointed. Check-in was easy, and the clerks were helpful in arranging a midweek unit change since the resort was full and we had a split week situation and couldn't stay in the same unit for our entire stay. They made what we considered to be an inconvenience work very smoothly. Speaking of fu... Read more

We are seniors who have been timeshare owners for over 25 years. Our reservation was an exchange and we were very disappointed with our stay at the Cove. We have used timeshares throughout the country and this was the most frustrating experience to date. The check in and check out were fine. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator. This made getting our belongings from the parking lot into the room a bit of a challenge. Then we found out that the unit was also two stories - the bedroom... Read more

People were helpful and fixed a problem we had. Rooms were nice even though we had to change rooms for Internet to work. Huge indoor pool and hot tub so you can use that in any kind of weather. Beautiful view if you walk around the back of the buildings, but there is only one way to get to it so I'll bet most people don't ever go to it. Could have activities for owners that are more engaging. Weakest point.

I stayed in a loft style suite with two bathrooms and a fold-out sofa. There is no stove-top, oven, or wash-dryer in the room. My suite did not have a balcony, but they did give me a partial water view at my request. The rest of the view was of the woods, which was still pretty nice considering the fall colors. I enjoyed the location, since I wanted to explore all of cape cod during my stay. This is central, with Provincetown and Wood Hole each an hour away. The mall is a few minutes dri... Read more

Being a native of Cape Cod, I know that many of their hotels and resorts are outdated.
