We stay here because our daughter lives in Brookline, about 20 minutes away, when they have good rates. The rooms are wonderful. Breakfast is good--tho often crazy busy.....Noticed that they check rooms now--a good idea. Their seating is small for the crowd they draw.

If you enjoy staying at Embassy Suites for all that it offers, then the Waltham location should meet your expectations. Rooms - layout and size are very good. Decor is not exciting and gets a lot of wear and tear from guests. The kitchenette has a sink, microwave and small fridge. No utensils/plates provided nor cleaning supplies - these would be helpful to guests who would be using the appliances and cleaning up after eating. Bath shower has great pressure. I was in town for a family funeral and this was a very convenient location. The price was average for the area. Boston seems to be quite expensive, The room was nice, I really loved the evening reception and the staff were wonderful. They made a difficult time more enjoyable. Even though it was busy with events, when I closed the bedroom door, I heard no noise and slept very well.

Was here for a quick getaway to Boston area. overall, I thought it was a good value, which seems like general consensus. If you plan on spending time outside of hotel most time and you don't mind driving to get to hotel, this could be good alternative to overpriced hotels in Boston Pro: huge room close to cambridge/boston if you have a car and can avoid traffic jam time.. reasonable rate gym was OK. had a swimming pool albeit we didn't use it good buffet Con: the proximate area itself doesn... The hotel has a decent lobby - but on the colder side, uncomfortably cold. There is a bar in the lobby which is visually pleasant - but the noise from the late-stayers can be annoying, especially if kids are trying to sleep. Our room was away from the bar on the 3rd floor but the noise was still pretty audible. Rooms: The first time I have slept on a 2-in-one couch (which can be converted to a bed) - that was actually pretty comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. The fridge w... Embassy Suites provide great value. Often for the same price you would pay for a typical hotel room, you get a spacious suite with a kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom and a bathroom outside the bedroom. It works great for couples on different sleep schedules! You also get a very nice complimentary breakfast and a complimentary evening reception. This is my favorite hotel chain!

Embassy Suites consistently performs for the value received. Living room and private bedroom, made-to-order (free) breakfast, managers reception (although due to local laws, they cannot provide complimentary beer and wine like most ES) We also needed to use the business center and equipment was down, so the front desk cheerfully assisted us with faxing and emailing urgent documents right there at the desk. We were 4 adults needing a suite for a night near Boston. I have stayed in Courtyards before and this location did not disappoint. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Common areas are not well supervised for cleanliness, e.g. lobby restrooms. More important: a guest's medical emergency in pool area triggered a fire alarm and request for evacuation. Staff was woefully unprepared, giving conflicting instructions to different guests, resulting in chaotic situation. The breakfast that is included in the price was good though the coffee they serve is not. Our room needs updating. Must stay, well worth the money. Evening snacks are great and breakfast is wonderful. Pool is great too. Just outside of Boston and right off 95. Can't go wrong. Everyone is friendly and the common area is a great place to watch the game.

1st, know that this location does not provide alcoholic beverages during happy hour. Something about it being outside of the Boston rules. Other than that, it was an okay stay. The complementary eats were just okay. Rooms were spotless and large. Quiet and comfy. Room had frige, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and iron

This is a great hotel to take your family. I have stayed a couple of times. Its quiet, its elegant, spacious, and is very easy to get to. There are amenities for the kids (pool, gym etc) and the breakfast was amazing. Our room had two seperate areas one for the kids with fold-out and TV, bathroom/kitchenette in the middle, then Bedroom with TV on the window wall. It seemed like almost no-one was there on a week nite, but not empty enough to make it creepy.

Been here many times. Staff friendly. Suites large and comfortable. I don't like the new arrangements for breakfast with a very downmarket buffet although there is still a chef to make fresh omelettes and fried eggs

Daughter has frequent sporting events in the area and this will be our new go to spot. Room was fantastic, pool and hot tub were clean, and the breakfast was by far the best complimentary breakfast you will find.

Stayed here on Business recently. I will say that it was a very pleasant experience, overall. I had a large king room with a really nice, comfortable and clean bed. As usual, I closely inspected the linens, sheets, pillowcases and bath towels for cleanliness and freshness. Everything was perfect! I was very satisfied with the level of cleanliness in my room. The carpet was clean and the whole room smelled fresh and clean. A/C was ice cold, too. TV was large enough with a fully functional remote ... Read more

One night stay in Room 725. Staff are helpful and friendly. Quiet room not too near the elevator. View is of the parking lot. Check in and check out was quick. the room was ready early. parking was near the front door and free. the room has two televisions, one in the living area and one in the bedroom area. Safe in the room, microwave and refrigerator. Wifi is poor but they are supposedly upgrading it. Shower water got hot quickly. Sofa in the living area not too comfortable but the single chai... Overall, we love the Embassy Suites and its many benefits, from the wonderful buffet breakfast to the manager's reception at night. They offer down pillows, and internet in the rooms for Hilton Honor's members. We had some issues with the heat/cooling system, but the front desk was quick to try and make it right for us during our stay.

Great suite room. Love the refrigerator and the fact that there are two rooms, as my husband and I are on different sleep schedules. The breakfast with your own style omlet is great! Will definitely stay there again.

We were there with a large tour group. We finally got there and were starving. My husband and I sat there for 30 minutes, no service. Finally a lady said have you been helped, we said no. She said she get someone to us. 15 minutes later, a guy asked if we had been helped, we said no and also said he'd get someone to us. In the mean time, 3 other couples had sat down near us at separate tables. Across the way, I saw a man cleaning up a table and got his attention. He came over and took our order.... Read more

As a result of home repairs, I had occasion to stay at this hotel for one night. After an ititial challenge I encountered with my phone reservation, the rest of my stay was very good. Checking in at the hotel was easy and quick. Our room was large, comfortable, and totally quiet. The towels were very white, quite large and absorbent and the shower was refreshing. The two large televisions, which we did not use, seemed responsive. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, but the hamburgs I noticed be... Read more

Check in staff not friendly not accommodating seemed distracted and bored. Beds are too soft. My room wasn't so clean and I had to move several times to get a room that was decent. Many other hotel choices in this area. Just because tripadvisor ranks #1 doesn't mean it is. I would not stay again.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and loved it here. The rooms have a separate area for the television/couch area...bathroom in between with wet bar area and then the bedroom to the back of the suite. They also have a snack time right before supper hour which is a good idea!!! If you want something more substantial there are additional items you can order. In the morning there is a HUGE breakfast area. Made to order omelets if you like and then the standard breakfast choices. Very quie... Read more

You pay for Internet if your not a Hilton Honirs Member and then it is weak. Food is outrageous $19.00 for a hamburger. Your better off ordering out and bringing your own liqueur. Was there for the weekend for my reunion so was in several rooms. Couches needed cleaning.

Stayed at this hotel based on location. It is a modern hotel, with an updated, clean, comfortable suite. The bed was supportive, affording me a full nights sleep with no aches or pains in the morning. The breakfast had everything you could want, including an omelette station. Pleasant overall environment in a great location, near highways. This place represents an excellent value.

Stayed here for almost two months so we were looking for a large space that could approximate an apartment, restaurant on site, free parking, good service and location. Area felt safe, ample parking. 1) 4/5 Location - restaurants nearby, businesses, near highway. Could get pretty heavy traffic during rush hour. Also had a restaurant on site, free breakfast, happy hour. Busy hotel for weddings, popular for conferences, mini store on site 2) rooms 4/5 - two rooms, comfortable bed, nice living ro... Read more

The suites are exactly that, suites with lots of room a separate living and sleeping room connected by a kitchenette. Extremely comfortable and spacious rooms. However the design is quite weird to say the least... All the rooms face an inner courtyard which is just a carpeted center in the hotel. The stairs go from the top of the hotel down the the 3rd floor, but don't let you get to the lobby without navigating through the rest of the hotel. Our family of four was in Boston for a BC-Clemson game (Go Tigers!) Given a very good experience with an Embassy Suites stay in Orlando, we decided to try the Embassy Suites in Waltham. Friends who either went to BC or live in Boston all advised that trying to park near the BC Alumni Stadium (Chestnut Hill, MA) was a bad idea and basically impossible. I looked for a hotel in decent proximity to the Riverside Station in order to use the ā??Tā?? system which was definitely the way to go. Ove... Read more

Have stayed here a few times in the past and was always very pleased with everything at this hotel. The room, the pool, the decor and the breakfast buffet! A short driving distance from Boston, probably 10-15 minutes, needless to say, if you don't mind that, this is the perfect hotel for you.

Big specious suites with plenty of storage and very clean. Large, comfortable beds and good sleep quality. Staff was nice and friendly. Some negative were poor wifi reception, mediocre breakfast variety ( no vegetables) and a shameful hotel guests daily parking fee ($10 per day).
