We just stayed at this Hampton Inn last night and if I could use more stars, I would. We asked for an early check in because we were going to a wedding that evening and our room was waiting for us on arrival. Room was spotless and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We were even offered to go bags in the morning because we had a four hour drive. Couldn't have asked for more. Definitely would recommend to all when visiting this area.

We have stayed at this location on three different occasions and each time we were very pleased. The rooms are very clean as were the common areas. The new bedding that the chain has recently started using is very nice also. As usual we found the staff to be very accomodating, pleasant and efficient. If we had any one complaint it would be that the wall heating/coolling unit was extremely noisy and would wake us whenever it went on. Other than that, this was another pleasant stay. We will... I love this hotel as I have stayed here before but this time was a little different. The room I had seemed like it was tired and pretty dirty. There were stains on the comforter that was pretty noticeable as well as a big water stain in front of the refrigerator like there was a big leak in the past. There was also a loud humming noise, I unplugged the refrigerator and microwave and also turned off the air/heater, still kept me up most of the night. It just didn't feel the same as my visits ... We were in Sturbridge for an overnight and stayed at the Hampton Inn. The location is great, close to restaurants, shops, and activities. The staff was great. There was a time when a Hampton Inn was a reasonably good value. Those times have changed. This hotel is dated and it shows every where from the elevator to the hallways and to the rooms. Our bathroom was dirty and the towels had a funny smell. The pillows felt like they had been in use since the 80's. The TV took forever to change channels. And the "breakfast" is laughable. We call them "feggs"... fake eggs and "facon"... fake bacon. Both taste like plastic. Even the apple juice had a chemical... Read more

What we expect from a Hampton Inn. Clean, comfortable, quiet, attractive room, good breakfast, pleasant staff. Easy to reach from Mass Pike (90). We were returning home after a 3 night stay at the Bar Harbor Hampton Inn in Maine. The difference between this HI in Sturbridge and the other one was night and day. This was an excellent place to stay, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the people working there were really nice. Loved having fresh coffee in the lobby. The location was great, close to the cute shops in the village.

Maurice at the desk couldn't have been nicer or more friendly. He was very welcoming. The room was fine but we should have changed it for a room with a bath tub instead of a shower that was handicap accessible. It was not easy or pleasant to shower in. The room was nice and clean but no counter space in the bathroom. There is plenty of room in the handicap bathroom to add some counter space. All in all it was a fine stay. Very accessible for wherever you wanted to go. And a very comforta... Read more

The hotel was very well kept, the common areas and the room were really clean and organized. The breakfast and the coffee station were clean and well stock. We had a very pleasant stay overall, the rooms near the elevator are a little loud.

This Hampton Inn is well managed, providing a comfortable stay with clean rooms and facilities along with attentive service. I have stayed here a number of times before on solo business trips and would come back to this hotel the next time. Service and features are standard for a Hampton Inn, including wifi in the room (at a respectable for a hotel 1.5 MB up and 2MB down speeds), free breakfast, a nice place to work in the room, and a recently renovated lobby. The location is convenient, righ... Read more

Prior to my check in they took $132.92 out of my checking account. Upon check in I alerted them of this. I was told there was noway and pulled up my statement to show the manager on duty, who said she couldn't help me. She called the general manager who said it would have to be taking care of in the morning. In the morning when I checked out over a pain staking hour between 9:15 and 10:15 - the general manager once again was not available. I was assured that the money would be refunded back to m... We had a nice quiet stay here for a quick trip to Sturbridge Village. It was very convenient. Expect all the standard features of a typical Hampton Inn. My only complaint with all Hampton Inn properties is the eggs they serve in various forms for breakfast. This must be a corporate requirement and I can only stand it for a one-night stay. Whenever I travel on business, it is a multi-night stay and I avoid them when I can for this sole reason.

The hotel needs improvements expected for a Hampton Inn by Hilton. The doors have a sign that says hello on them. That was the only greeting entering the hotel. The check in process was fair to average. The front desk staff could have been more pleasant, and more exciting considering the hospitality the front desk needs to support a hotel of this nature. The front desk staff needs to be present not in the back office for security measures at all times. The front fest staff answered my questions.... Read more

As usual, check in and check out was seamless. Everyone was kind and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained, and the breakfast included everything you could want--waffles, bacon, eggs, potatoes, fruit, etc.! To top it off, my Hilton Honors points got me a huge discount! I would gladly come here again!

Hotel rooms seem a bit worn out. Needs updating. Hotel type breakfast which is not as terrible as some. Staff seemed pleasant but had very little interaction. The cost was 120 which is too much for worn out plain Jane rooms. I expected better from Hampton Inn.

It was the first time I have stayed in a Hilton Hotel. It was very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Would bring my family to stay here the next time my daughter looks at her prospective college.
