The hotel was a great value for the cost. Rooms very clean and beds are comfortable! We stayed for a convention and everyone had a pleasant stay. The outstanding part was the restaurant Picks. We booked it for 50plus people with only a couple days notice. I worked with Kayley and she was spectacular! She went above and beyond for me. The food and service were top notch. Everyone was raving about how great the dinner went. Kudos to Kayley and the entire staff! So well run. Thank you!

We stayed here one night and I have to say it was just ok. While the interior looks cool with the lighting and view of all the floors from the atrium area, the room and services were lacking. Our room was very loud because of the a/c and the bathroom sink dripped all night and little kids running up and down the hall at 1am. There were no drinks offered in the room (coffee/tea/water) you had to go to the front desk and purchase them for an overblown price. No coffee in the morning, had to go to D... Read more

My stay at this hotel was okay. Just okay. My room was large and comfortable, and every staff member I encountered was pleasant, courteous and helpful. Plenty of closet and drawer space, which is nice, too. But I was surprised to learn that a bunch of money had recently been spent to upgrade this property. The room furnishings were dated looking, there was no in-room safe, and no money appears to have been spent on noise control. Even with the windows shut, there was no avoiding the traffic nois... I stay at the Sheraton for business several times a month, and while the rooms are nice and large, beds comfortable, and staff very helpful and courteous, the wifi is always problematic. I gave up trying to use the hotel wifi some time ago and just plug in my hotspot every time to avoid disappointment. Location is great - request a room on the east side o fthe building to avoid the freeway and construction noise.

I could write about the great front desk staff- but I won't. I could write about the welcome team that directed my students and I to our meeting room- but I won't. I could write about Hector the Banquet Manager who helped get the room in order with his fab team - but I won't. I'll write about Aseel the gentleman who waved hello to me with a smile. He is also the gentleman (with a smile) who helped me with my parking pass. He also waved goodbye. Your hospitality did not go unnoticed but much app... Read more

I did a stop over here because I am a Sheraton member and took advantage of a free night. I have to say the personnel here are very nice, the room were clean, and I got a surprise upgrade to the club level. Just too bad it was the weekend so there was not a comp breakfast in the club :( but overall I had a nice rest. My only complain would be road noise from the parkway and the railroad facing my suite, but I live in NY so I hear that all the time lol. I wish I had time to use the pool it look... Read more

Stopped here for a night on a road trip. Service was excellent, room was clean and comfortable, overall great experience. As I mentioned, the atrium layout of the building is aesthetically pleasing during the day, but a bit noisy at night, as everyone passes by on their way back to their rooms. I would bring earplugs next time, or try to get a room further away from the central area.

We stayed here for a wedding in early June. I was very impressed with the place. The staff was all incredibly friendly and helpful. We requested a fridge and fold down bed and they came immediately. The pool and gym area was also very nice. Breakfast buffet at the restaurant was a little expensive but very good. Walked down to a local pizza place (Mama Mia's I think) and it was great.

A very nice hotel in an interesting area. Although there are lots of things to do within walking distance of this hotel I do not recommend this at night. Without a doubt some sketchy areas but also some nice restaurants. Inside the hotel it is very nice, the only issue I had was with a security guard in the hotel that felt he needed to police you walking from your room to the elevator as if you were a criminal. Very surprising to say the least and he was confrontational.

We stayed just one night on our way to taking our daughter to a nearby summer camp. The location right off the highway makes for a bit of highway noise but also very convenient. The room was good sized and the beds were fine. The bathroom was a decent size and the shower was nice and hot and strong. We enjoyed an above average breakfast. Parking at $17 per day seemed a bit high but understandable. Overall, a fine overnight stop and we will consider it again next year.

The check in experience here is sub par. It takes forever: there is much milling around for room availablity to move into at 5:30 PM which should be an automatic. The staff was polite enough, but no one behind the counter seemed to have the authority to actually check somebody in on the spot. We were sent to the bar to wait. The room itself was very nice though and the facility itself was modern and up to date. Check in was a real bottleneck, though.

I read the reviews before arriving, and they were sort of all over the place. I was pleasantly surprised when I got here. So, in order to correct some things in previous reviews that I found misleading, here is my review. 1. Parking is simple. There's a parking garage right under the hotel, and self parking is $17. 2. Hotel is clean, and neat 3. Staff is friendly 4. Bed is good 5. AC is great The only bad I found was room service. The menu is limited, and the Gouda and Gruyere Mac and... Read more

I visited on July 4th, and checked in with no problems. The hotel is nice with option to park in their garage, for $13.00 a night. You are only a short taxi ride from either the Peter Pan or Amtrak stations. We ended up parking on the street overnight for free because of the holiday, but had to move before 8am. Ended up in 1107 and it was located in the highway side (which was surprisingly quiet). Enjoyed the sauna and pool before we ventured out to Riverfront park to enjoy the festivities. Bath... Totally stumbled onto this hotel as usually for a roadtrip hotel, I look for something closer to the highway, and not downtown. What a real treat this was though. Easy to get to, and back on the road. Great location to good restaurants (Try Theodores) although on the weekends, downtown Springfield isn't really hopping. Hotel was totally first class, super nice room great king size bed, nice and quiet and we got a great rate. Will sure look to stay here again.

Want to take the kids on an excursion to the past? Try the Springfield Sheraton. Lost in time, it seems to be another in a long list in this chain that is going the route of "ride it out and patch it up until it just closes it's doors for good". It used to be that the brand Sheraton meant quality. Less so. Now it reminds me more of the Quality Inn Motel. I've never been disappointed with a SPG property, but now I can't say that. I arrived late on a Sunday night, there's no valet parking. Check in was tedious, had to ask if I have Club Lounge access on the key, I didn't, so they had to re-key it.
