I was disappointed in this Hilton Garden Inn. I am a big fan of Hilton Hotels and this one did not measure up. The room was over $220 and I paid less for a nicer room at a Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan the previous weekend. The hotel is connected to a Pizzeria Uno which had a band playing on the patio making it difficult to relax.

From the minute I stepped into the Hilton I felt welcome. The staff could not have been more pleasant. the lobby was welcoming. My daughter was graduating from UMASS Amherst and I was a little unsure about the distance, but this was fine. Actually it probably worked out better because it wasn't as congested. The hotel has plenty of parking. The pool is clean and in excellent shape (indoor). the rooms were what you would expect from a Hilton- extremely clean and well maintained. Sometimes you ... I stayed here recently for a family event and shared a double queen room with my husband and sister-in-law. The hotel rooms are perfectly adequate and clean. They are typical hotel rooms with the usual amenities, plus a mini fridge. No complaints there. This is the type of hotel you would want to stay at for business trips or events that require you to be out of the hotel most of the day. It's not somewhere you want to spend the majority of your vacation time, though the lobby is bright and co... Read more

This hotel plays loud music outside until midnight on the weekends. If you want a quiet place to stay do not choose this hotel. When I told the checkout help that I didn't appreciate the noise, she rolled her eyes at me. All of the rooms on the 'quieter' end of the hotel were already booked, which should be a wakeup call to this hotel.

Always a please to visit this hotel. It's easy access on and off rt. 91, lots of restaurants and of course the Basketball Hall of Fame. Great cookies in the afternoon! small Keruig in every room, with refrigerator and microwave. These are especially helpful if your bringing kids.

Located within walking distance of the basketball hall of fame, numerous restaurants and bars, it is a great spot to stay. Clean, friendly staff, nice beds, nice room, all amenities needed for a great weekend away. We came up for Graduation at one of the nearby colleges. Our group sat on the outside patio and listened to the band at the restaurant/bar next door but had our own food and drinks on the hotel patio which saved us a bundle.

Stayed at this Hilton on the way through MA. It is conveniently located right off RT 91 with easy on/off access. Being so close to the highway does add to some road noise in the room, but nothing too bad. There are several good restaurants located within walking distance and the Hall of Fame is across the parking lot! The room was very large and comfortable....and clean....with a Keurig coffee machine. There was no complimentary coffee in the lobby at any time, which I miss, but if Keurig is... Read more

Recommend Rooms very nice, great service and spa. Location is next to the Basketball Hall of Fame with good selection of restaurants close by and it's not too far from the airport. Uber is a plus in the area.

Nice hotel great service. Enjoyed the attached restaurant. Very clean and would highly recommend. Room service was a bonus and it helped when we returned from a long day at six flags. My family enjoyed the pool

Great property located immediately adjacent to the Basketball Hall of Fame. Wonderful community and enjoyable stay in this property! Local restaurants like Jake's Diner downtown were a great option for breakfast.

Staff were friendly and rooms were very nice. We also held meetings in their meeting rooms and the food was good also. It also is across the parking lot from the basketball hall of fame. Plus there were bars and restaurants within walking distance.

I usually stay across the street at another national hotel chain, but because they were sold out I figured I would give the Hilton Garden Inn a shot. Bad idea: there is no bar like most of the other Hilton Garden Inns have. the room I was in had very poor lighting. the shower head leaked and sprayed all over rooms needed updating.

This was a standard Hilton Garden Inn, with an indoor pool and connected to a pizzeria uno... however, the entire hotel smelled of feces the entire time I was there. This wasn't just the common / public spaces. My room smelled like someone had left dirty diapers in the trash. Totally unacceptable. When I asked the nice women at the front desk about the smell, they cavalierly responded "oh yeah! There is a waste processing plant over the river. It smells like this all the time" Evidently, they... Read more

We had a great stay here. The location was super for six flags and having all the food places right in the same parking lot was about as handy as it gets. Everything was extremely clean which has s our highest concern and our room was pretty quiet. The beds were comfortable, but seemed dated compared to other properties, and the room was warm even tough we had the heat set at 65. Would use AC next time even though it was in the mid 40's outside. Definitely will stay here again for the locat... Read more

Pleasantly surprised on the size of our 1 bed (king) room. Downtown area is under construction due to the new casino, but the Hilton Garden is across Rt 91 away from the construction. Had dinner at Uno Chicago Grill - attached to Hilton. easy to get a seat on a Saturday evening. Tried Red Rose but did not wait for 45 minute stated availability.

Lisa had no patience when i tried to talk to her to resolve the issue we had. I admit there was fault on my end but the hotel had many issues itself but Lisa chose to disregard the situation and only focus on the incident in the pool. Rather than choose to speak calmly with me to come to a conclusion, she spoke over me the entire time and threatened me. I never had a bad experience at the Hampton Inns.

Free wireless internet, business center, fitness room, pool, and an UNO restaurant that has very good salads was down the hall. Have been here before in the spring/ summer when they have outdoor entertainment which is especially nice.

After a tiring day visiting New York and Boston, I used Hilton's mobile app to reserve a room with a king bed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield, MA. Upon my arrival at the hotel shortly thereafter, I was informed that only rooms with queen beds were available (despite receiving a confirmation e-mail for a room with a king bed). The front desk assistant apologized for what appeared to be a computer glitch, but given the take it or leave it nature of the situation, I took my business to anot... Read more

I've stayed at this hotel several times, love the décor, which is bright and airy (beautiful photos of plants and flowers) and have always enjoyed the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The lobby also serves as the restaurant area for breakfast, which is easy and delicious. I very much recommend this hotel for good value and comfort.

The hotel was accomodating to our team and their families. We were able to use the lobby to hold a place to have the kids and families get to know each other and have lunch. There were restaurants close by within walking distance. The basketball Hall of Fame was also just across the parking lot And some of the kids enjoyed spending some down time taking a tour of the Basketball Hall of Fame.
