As soon as we checked in, got our key and walked into the room, I was in heaven. The beach was right there and I could open my patio door and listen to the waves all day and all night. The water was so blue and beautiful. The room was awesome, big and spacious and very clean. We had a mini kitchen, a big comfortable bed and a big screen tv. I definitely recommend this resort

I was really happy with this resort, minus the check in with Thomanda. She was not very pleasant and when I had asked a couple questions about splitting our bill amongst 2 rooms that we had booked, it was quite the ordeal for her. Lots of huffing and puffing. After that though, great activities for kids and beautiful setting and clean pool and beach areas. A couple things that could be improved: - The locks to the doors are very temperamental. They could definitely use an update,we would some... Read more

We stayed at Riviera Beach Resort for 5 days in September 2015. We loved it! We were upgraded to a lovely suite facing the ocean. The resort has a huge, pretty beach frontage, plus a heated outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, and hot tub. We also got a free breakfast each day. The location is good for exploring all around Cape Cod. You can walk the beach to the left and arrive at a jetty and fishing pier, and in the other direction you can walk to a great restaurant called The Skipper. Check... Read more

We stayed here two nights whilst on a tour of New England. Our room was right on the beach with a balcony with a table, chairs and a lounger. Very friendly and efficient staff in smart matching uniforms. An excellent complimentary breakfast was provided. Great shower, but washbasin tap was of an old design and very difficult to use. The room was large with two queen size beds. Good lighting compared to many hotels.

This review has been a long time coming! I have frequented this resort with my family for years. This summer however was a standout! John Verity, the General Manager was so accommodating and made sure that our stay was amazing for both my husbands and I anniversary as well as our daughters 14th birthday. Our youngest daughters LOVED the kids club. The staff was very professional and they truly had a blast! John and his entire team continue to strive to go above and beyond on a daily basis and it... Our group of 8th grade students and teachers stayed at the Riviera Beach Resort for 3 nights. The staff was awesome and were helpful beyond expectations! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The new beds and linens were heavenly! Rooms had refrigerators but no microwave or coffee pot. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Indoor pool and hot tub, outdoor pool and beach were terrific. We are looking forward to returning next year!

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights, attending a family funeral with other family members. We had rooms in the "Grande" building, with high ceilings and balconies facing the pool, which also afforded a water view. Our 2nd floor room had 2 queens, a small table and 2 chairs, plenty of storage and closet space and a dorm-sized refrigerator. The sink was separate from the tub/shower and toilet. There did not appear to be an elevator so getting to the room required a set of outdoor stairs - not a ... Read more

We were traveling with a bus tour, Covered Wagon, Avon NY. We were a large group of 52 and we stayed at this resort for 3 nights. The room was spacious and immaculate. We had a private balcony with a view of the Atlantic. The staff was very helpful and the included breakfast was more than adequate. The service in the dining facility was outstanding. I would happily stay there again.

My family recently returned for a night at what has become one of our favorite places on the Cape! The Riviera Beach Resort always leaves us feeling like we've spent a week away! With two kids, its nice to arrive and not have any reason to leave. The weather was perfect, so the pools and beautiful beach were really all we needed. I couldn't get over the attentive staff who ran down the beach to set up our chairs and umbrella! After dinner we sat on our deck to enjoy a drink from the oceanside ba... Read more

We stayed in an ocean front room for one night. We found the room to be in need of renovation -- musty smell, broken tiles in the bathroom, used dental floss in the bathroom waste basket, tired furniture. No coffee maker in the room. Sound proofing was atrocious - maybe non-existent. Neighbors allowed kids to run around at 5AM - sounded like they were in the room with us. Ate breakfast at the "restaurant" in our building. Paid $11 each for a buffet that was basically inedible. Would never ... Read more

I stayed here with my family July 4th weekend for 3 days. We had stayed here last summer and were very happy, but this time was not a great experience . The grounds and pool area were wonderful. Plenty of friendly staff available whenever we needed. We came in late June before it was too busy, and we were surprised to find we got a free breakfast each day. The room itself was somewhat dated. Nice beach, clean rooms, older rooms, but they were clean. They could use an update, but it worked for our weekend stop on the way home. We paid for the breakfast buffet and it was terrible! We decided to visit the cape for he first time. While we enjoyed the ocean front room I would have expected a little more. The door was dirty and sticky. The handle to the balcony was broken the posted kids activities never lasted for the whole time Listed. We would go back but we are disappointed with the price we paid. The oceanfront was wonderful because we were literally steps from the beach. The towels were plentiful and the crew was always readily available to set up chairs for you.

We rarely go to the Cape anymore. But we thought why not try it again. So we booked right on the beach, which is the only way to stay on the Cape. Perfect hotel to have beach and pool steps away. Traveling with our 80+ mom this hotel was the perfect compromise.
