This Hampton Inn is one of the best I have stayed in. Clean rooms, good location and helpful staff, especially Allison, the evening desk clerk. Breakfast is the usual but the area is clean and repeatedly restocked. The attached restaurant offers fresh tasty food without getting wet! As a female I felt safe which is a huge plus.

The hotel clearly didn't have enough housekeeping staff for a full weekend. We had four rooms and needed to call to get our rooms cleaned every day. I wouldn't recommend this if there is a large event happening in the area. They also ran out of food for breakfast

I believe this is my fifth or sixth visit to this hotel, as we frequent the Boston area to visit family. Hotel is always clean, well maintained, and very decent rooms - especially as this location (Norwood / Walpole) is usually half the price of staying in downtown Boston. The beds here a very comfortable, and the rooms (especially in the rear) facing the golf course are very quiet. Right on US-1, and only a few miles from I-95. Lots of eating options within a short drive, and the on-site Ir... Read more

When we travel to Boston to visit relatives the Norwood Hampton in is our #1 choice. Rooms are so much more affordable than downtown! We've been consistently happy at the Norwood Hampton Inn. The staff have been friendly and helpful. And we always enjoy the complimentary buffet breakfast! Once when driving back to upstate New York after staying at the Norwood Hampton Inn I noticed that I didn't have my cell phone. After I got home I called the hotel. MY friend & I stayed at the Hampton Inn Norwood for a few days to see the sights of Boston. The staff was very friendly & helpful especially in regards to the shuttle service. Great location only twenty minute ride into the city. They offer free drop off & pick up shuttle service from the station. Rooms were very comfortable & clean only downside was no frig in the room. Their continental breakfast was okay they need to offer more selections.

This is your average Hampton Inn. Rooms, location, facilities, and breakfast what you would expect. What I did not expect was the hotel to inform me that they would not be able to provide a shuttle bus for me and my guests. My friends and I were to attend a Red Sox game that started at 4:00. When we checked in at 2:30 the gentleman at the front desk told us that they can provide a shuttle to take us to a train station that was within walking distance to the stadium. Very Clean and comfortable Dog friendly hotel!! Excellent welcoming, friendly staff. We arrived very late at night and the staff did their best to promptly get us to our room. The staff welcomed our dog, HERO, with lots of petting and hugs which made him feel very special and made us feel more comfortable and at home. HERO is a rescue dog from the dog meat trade in Asia who we adopted from SOI DOG FOUNDATION. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Clean, reasonable rates, great breakfast and very nice staff make this a good choice...unless you really want to use that advertised pool. The local town reguires a certified lifeguard on duty in motel/hotel pools greatly limiting pool use. I think the posted hours were 10am to 5pm weekdays and 10am to 2pm saturday/sundays, or thereabouts. Thus if you wanted to workout in the pool before your day began, or relax "after hours" you were out of luck. As those hours also closely bracket check-in or... Read more

While the people and the service was good, I'd expect much more from a Hampton inn. This felt more in line with a motel. I'd avoid it if I had the choice in the future. We live in Maine but travel often to Norwood, MA, to visit with family who live there - and have traveled there more often this year with the birth of our granddaughter. While there are many possible places to stay nearby, we have always stayed at the Hampton Inn - Norwood. Our stay last week and my review of it for them made me realize that perhaps I needed to do a TripAdvisor review of them, too. We find the facility to be nice - it has clean rooms with tasteful, comfortable furnishings ... Read more

I had issues with accessing the hotel due to Route 1 traffic. Issues with TV in Fitness Center Issue with rate change at check in that wasn't told to me when I booked the room. I ate 3 times at the hotel restaurant, Flatbread was burnt, waitress did remove the item from the bill.

had a good trip. the staff was friendless and helpful. breakfast food could've been a little better, but was not bad. as a pet friendly hotel I feel they need to flea spray rooms used for visitors with pets after they leave.

This hotel is in a nice location and the lobby is decent, but the rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The air was full of dust from construction and the floors had a thin layer of dust. The beds were comfortable and the heating and cooling worked well. Lastly, the food was enjoyable and up to par with my high standards.

Be Aware- Hotel is Pet Friendly. Apparently animals are allowed on floors 1 and 2. The rooms smell like wet animal. Also there was a dog barking down the hall at 11pm. If you book here make sure you try to get a room on the higher floors. Was told they TRY to keep animals on the lower floors.

Moderate price for a well-run hotel that offers nicely furnished rooms, hot breakfast and the convenience of a 15-minute drive to downtown Boston. Emmett's Pub, on site, is a must while you are there! I had 15 guests with me and everyone, to a person, commented on how nice a stay they had.

We stayed at this hotel to do some downtown sight seeing and attend a wine riot event. It was convenienly located near the Amtrak train station and a subway stop. It was great having an on sight pub and restaurant. Great food and atmosphere.

This hotel need major updating. The rooms are tired, the carpets are worn, the beds are old and caved in, the pillow are hard, the towels are thin. One entire wing of the hotel was without heat but we were assigned two rooms in that wing before anyone realized that there was no heat. Except for Yecenia at the front desk who was wonderful, this was not a pleasant experience.

Excellent value in every respect. Very friendly staff, good and bar available, wonderful complimentary breakfast and rooms, pool etc. very pleasant and clean. The mattresses and bedding are top of the line. Suspect everything in this hotel is new. They were just finishing a refurb of the entire place.

Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great. Registration was a little confusing as I had three reservations for guests of a wedding. Once it was cleared up, there were no problems. Bed was very comfortable.

My husband and I were in the area for the New England Patriots/Cincinnati Bengals football game. With the extended weekend, we took an opportunity to travel to Rhode Island for the day, Cape Cod on another day, and game day. While there may have been hotels that would have been better located, this location suited our needs. Great dining options nearby. We were pleased with our room and overall accommodations. It is right next to a golf course.

My recent stay was just as good as my previous stay in 2013, in fact, the hotel and room appeared nicer than before due to ongoing remodeling work at the hotel. Room climate controls, bed comfort, shower water pressure, etc. were all very good. Most hotel criteria either met or exceeded expectations. The onsite restaurant is now called Emmets and has a great Irish pub feel and a nice bar. Great spot to watch a hockey or basketball game. As reported in 2013, morning rush hour traffic is still... One check-in clerk made my stay horrible. It just shows that companies should be very careful about the persons they choose to represent them. I needed a friendly and caring problem-solver and got neither. It ended up ruining my first night of rest, and it spilled into the next day. HORRIBLE.

For over $200 a night I was underwhelmed by the Norwood Hampton. I stay at Hilton hotels often and this was an atypical experience. No refrig. No microwave. Fitness center that was tiny/cramped with no cups drinking water and a TV that did not work. Not a typical Hampton.

This is our second stay at the Hampton Inn Norwood. The location is good, away from Dedham but easily accessible. Beds are very comfortable, good hot buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. Pick a room with a view of the golf course. Left behind some items, called and they were placed aside for me.

I was only there one night for business. It was comfortable, relatively quiet. I liked that there was a restaurant inside for lunch/dinner. The food there was very good. The traffic in the area is a little hectic, but expected.
