Nice stay. Comfortable, quiet, friendly staff. Would've loved to have an included breakfast, although it is located conveniently near several quick eateries and restaurants. We had a pretty view of the town and the mountains.

We were very pleased with the entire hotel. Rooms are very well kept, as well as common areas we came across. We got in later in the night as the hotel restaurant and bar were closing. We did not have the opportunity to try either, but did go down in the am for breakfast. The portions were very larger, and the menu had some unique options. Service was very good, would definitely recommend, if you have the extra time in the morning. Everything including the rooms were very reasonable priced.

Comfy king-bed, the handicapped-access room offered zero barriers with huge bathroom. Clean, in good repair. The dining room offers discounts with room card, but ask/look for local restaurant brochure with BOGO coupon. Our room was very quiet. Fridge/m-wave/coffee-maker in room, free wifi. Free parking. Staff very pleasant/helpful.

Very helpful staff. Centrally located. Good restaurant on site. Clean, Modern, and well maintained. Great service. This is our fourth visit, and strongly recommend it. Easy walk to most North Adams locations.

The holiday inn and staff were so wonderful and helpful for our wedding weekend. We were at mass moca, which is walking distance away, and they went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of the stay was amazing. The rooms were modern, clean and affordable for the Berkshires. The location is fantastic, a 10 min drive from Williamstown and within walking distance of moca and many shops and restaurants in north Adams. For couples considering the holiday inn for a wedding hotel, I could not rec... Read more

This hotel is located downtown North Adams only a few minutes from Mt. Graylock, which was why we were in North Adams. We booked one of the only rooms left in the hotel that weekend which happened to be a handicap accessible room. This was told to us immediately and the front desk girl did her best to try to find us another room. She was very pleasant and helpful. We ended up having to stay in that room because the only other room was near the elevator, and if you have ever stayed in a hotel ... Read more

My wife and I got married in the area, and this hotel went above and beyond. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating, the rooms were clean and well maintained. They also made the whole process of blocking off rooms for the wedding easy, and were helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. The rooms were very affordable as well. Highly recommended!

This hotel was booked 3 weeks in advance for 6 days (had business in the area). Within an hour of booking, I needed to change my arrival date to one day sooner. I called Holiday Inn 1-800 number to have them make the change as I was driving and didn't want to do while driving. I had reserved a king room, non-smoking. Intentionally NOT reserving a handicap accessible room (being well over 6ft. tall...fitting under the handicap shower head contraption is impossible) Apparently whomever I spoke wi... Read more

Well, my husband and I stayed here for one night en route from one city to another. Our room, 617, was a 2 queen room with a microwave, small refrigerator and mid-sized tv that overlooked a busy street. The room appeared clean and bedding was clean but older looking. The bathroom, however, had some bigger issues. The tub had some standing water and hair in it and the shower head leaked badly. The lighting in the bathroom was about the worst we have ever encountered. There was no light ove... Read more

Holiday Inn was Ok but nothing special. On the ground floor are several other businesses which makes the entrance lobby a bit unusual. Room was fine but air conditioning dated from the 1970's and was noisy. Location is very central in North Adams and parking is free.

Although I read the recent rant by one reviewer, we found the hotel and staff to be very nice. Looks like the chain of mistakes lead to a bad day for everyone. The location was perfect for our car club caravan of five cars. Restaurants are within walking distance and it is a short drive to Mt. Greylock area which has a beautiful scenic road leading to the summit and visitor center. If you are in the area it is a great side trip but you may want to call ahead to see if the summit is foggy sin... Read more

If you like to stay in the center of town this is the place to stay. It has a very nice restaurant inside the hotel. The front desk staff is very professional and kind. The rooms are nice and very well furnished. The parking lot is behind the hotel and very well lit. We had to cut our stay short and no one gave us any trouble about changing our plans. They were very accommodating.

This hotel is located right downtown North Adams, just 2-3 blocks away from the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (Mass MoCA) and lots of shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and front desk staff friendly. The onsite restaurants offers a reasonably priced, good breakfast and you'll get a discount if you show your room key card ---there's also outside seating. There's a very large parking lot attached so you don't have to hunt down your car. When in North Adam... Read more

Holiday Inn Berkshires is in a good location - walking distance to Mass MOCA, short distance by car from North Adams and right off the main street in Williamstown. Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. We would stay there again for sure. We chose it because it was very good value for money. There is a pool, but we didn't use it. I needed a good place to stay and rest after a long hike earlier in the day. This hotel fit the need. The front desk was friendly and helpful. They do not offer a free breakfast but there is an onsite restaurant. I didn't try it. Room was fine. Clean and comfortable. A plus is that the town of North Adams is overlooked by Mount Graylock. It's a Harry Potter thing.

We spent one night here at end of a whirlwind visit to the Berkshires. The whole hotel seemed tired. The bed was comfortable but the carpet was stained and worn and ice machine was on a different floor. Breakfast was good in hotel restaurant and hotel gave a ten dollars credit per room towards food. Was not a bad experience a day really was the only game in town as far as chain hotels in North Adams. Would stay here again but hope they can manage to update the place.

The Holiday Inn's address is on Main St but the entrance is on a side street facing unoccupied retail space. Parking was adjacent to the far end of the hotel. Spots were very narrow. It was a short walk to MASS MOCA and restaurants. The hotel is not up to grade for the rates charged. The hall was dark and the carpet dingy. The room itself was large and clean but the bathroom was poorly lit and when the shower curtain was drawn, it was pretty dark in the shower. The water from the shower was dir... Read more

Very nice, very clean. Stayed one night with friends. North Adams was very quiet, but everything of interest was in a short walking distance from this hotel. The Mass MoCA is a short walk in one direction, the much more modest Western Gateway Heritage State Park is close in the other direction. A multiplex is also close. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the views of the steeples an mountains are beautiful. Thanks to all. It has been fabulous!

Yes, it's walking distance from Mass MOCA, which is why we chose this hotel, but that was the major highlight here. This property needs a serious reboot. The room is large, but bathroom is outdated and lacking light. Carpet in the room was worn. And how is it possible that Holiday Inn does not include breakfast, whereas Holiday Inn Express does? That often makes all the difference in whether a guest will choose the hotel. The front staff could not tell us where Public House was (1 block away)--v... Read more

We stayed here while traveling and were very happy with our accommodations. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The best was the bed. We had been traveling for weeks, and it was the best bed we had. I thought it was very up-to-date. We did not use pool or restaurant. It is in the downtown area, so naturally a little noisy with morning traffic. Try for a higher room .

I stayed one night while visiting my son who is in one of the local colleges. The room was pristine, service at the desk was excellent and breakfast in the morning was exceptional including the coffee! There was a keurig coffee maker in the room if I needed it, and the body products came from a reputable chain. Towels were clean and did not smell of bleach. Rugs were vacuumed and not worn.

Location, cleanliness, comfortable beds top attributes. No complimentary breakfast was surprising. Even with 20% off for being a hotel guest, breakfast was still in the $10 range. We have to mention this... prepare to chuckle: the toilet seat was the smallest ever encountered! We joke and say truthfully that we did not realize they were made that small, and they must be kid specials. Had it not been for these two negatives we would have rated this a 5-Star hotel experience. Yes, we would go back... Read more

We ended up here in a rain storm when ort reservation at another nearby motel fell through. It is a nice location with easy access to attractions like Mass MoCA and Mt. My room on the top floor was spacious, and I had a great new of the mountains. I did eat breakfast one morning at the restaurant, which was good. Reasonably priced, with a discount as a hotel guest.
