I recently spent four days at Hotel Indigo, and it is a decent place to stay. The staff made my experience a lot better than I thought. They were universally friendly and welcoming, even greeting me when I came in for the evening. And they have Aveda products in the bathroom, which was a major plus in my book! But that can't make up for the deficiencies that result from poor design and renovation. The room I had was small for the price. The lighting was the worst I have ever encountered in... Read more

Third time around. Quick weekend. Super location. Very gracious, professional staff greet you warmly. Very nice amenities; free wifi, king beds, excellent restaurant. Looking forward to the next visit in the fall.

My son just graduated from Babson College in Wellesley. From first visiting colleges in that are till his graduation, I have stayed at three different hotels in that area. The Hotel Indigo, Boston Marriott Newton, and Courtyard Boston Natick. I have stayed in each at least twice, the two bigger ones three times. The Boston Marriott Newton is my favorite. I booked with the Indigo probably six months in advance. My parents were joining us and I wanted adjoining rooms. We arrived at the hotel... Read more

Visited for two nights. Clean room, pillows and bed comfortable, bathroom a little small. Good service at breakfast, tasty food , only meals eaten at hotel. Check out was easy. Location near I95 was very convenient. Parking under hotel also convenient.

Hallways are tight and so are the bathrooms. The place is newly renovated and modern. The new pool bar and cabanas are pretty cool and the gym is awesome. Free parking is a huge plus for me and the train station location is great. I like the hardwood floors in the rooms it's a clean and well kept. I got a great price on a 3rd party website it was less than 200.00 for 2 nights. Stay outta the restaurant it's way way over priced.

Spent a night at the Hotel Indigo Boston - Newton Riverside to attend a weekend wedding in the area. Although the front desk was unable to guarantee early check in prior to my arrival, I was able to enter the room well ahead of the 4 p.m. check in time, which was nice. The room itself was beautiful, modern, well-furnished, and spacious. The on-site fitness center feels brand-new and is well-equipped, the outdoor pool area is lovely, and the hotel bar is a great place to unwind. The primary downs... Read more

Second time here. First time with kids. Room as tight as can be. We made them remove the furniture. Stayed this weekend for an event with my wife. They overbooked the hotel and stuck us in the same small crowded room with 2 double beds. Not the king size bed we reserved. Terrible. Stay elsewhere.

We went to a workshop at a local college and spent a week here. I booked and double checked my requests were up to date. Low room, etc... When I showed up they had me on a high floor, there was angst and a bit of apologizing. They finally landed us on a lower floor. We were part of the colleges booking and thus were to be given breakfast coupons. None were to be had. After asking again, I received one set of breakfast coupons under the door at the end of the second day, regardless that the r... Read more

I am currently here for 2 weeks on business and was looking for a regular place to stay ongoing. During the week I cannot fault the hotel. Everything is great..... But..... During the summer, Sunday is pool party day where paying guests are shoehorned into a small area by the pool and made to feel less than welcome. Forget about using the pool. By early afternoon it is chaos. We left to return to a bomb site and the police! That same evening myself and two colleagues were having a relaxing eveni... Read more

This hotel is great and so close, walking distance, to the Riverside T station. Rooms were very modern and clean. We couldn't use the pool, we visited in the winter, the pool is outdoors, and it doesn't have an indoor pool. The gym was nice and clean with a variety of machines.

Visited Boston for the weekend to meet up with friends. This was a great place for us to stay and enjoy the rooftop pool and cabanas. It was like we weren't in Boston! We arrived super early and our room was available so we could check in early (it was about 9:00am). The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Service at the rooftop was great at first but naturally slowed down as the place got busy. Service was still good, just a bit slower with the food and drinks. But when our orders w... Read more

We have been to this hotel countless times as we live nearby and have booked this hotel so that we can use their pool. The hotel itself is very nice and about what you expect for 3-4 start hotel in the Boston area. The big issue with this hotel these days is that they have allowed some private company rent out the entire pool on Sundays. We (hotel guests) were actually told that we may not even be able USE the pool if the "pool party" got to busy. There was NO MENTION that the pool might b... Read more

Pros: Location is good. Room is clean. Prices are decent. Cons: RUDE incompetent staff. First when I checked in, she quickly handed back my ID saying that it was "expired" and that I needed a valid ID. I double check my ID and when I told her it expires in 2017, she didn't even apologize. She just mumbled under her breath that it had been a long day. She had her elbow leaning against the counter which isn't professional at all. She said all of probably 20 words in total. Only to tell me that s... Read more

Very convenient to get to from the highway. The front desk staff was very friendly. I had called days in advance because we would be arriving very late and meeting my neice who lives in Boston. They made it very easy for her to get into the room before we got there. The room was clean and cozy. 2 double beds, coffee maker (k-cups) hard wood floors instead of carpet. We needed extra towels and asked for extra coffee no problem getting them right away. We enjoyed the pool in the afternoon. Lots... Read more

I stayed here with my family overnight July 16-17, 2016. Amazing staff (very friendly), fantstic location, and very clean. The rooms looked newly remodled, nautically inspired, kindof small, but okay for us. Keurig coffee maker in the room (no fridge). From the outside, the hotel has a lot to be desired-not lovely at all. The inside is beautiful!!! When we got to the hotel our room was not ready 1:30pm (check-in at 3:00pm/name put on a call list/called me at 5:30pm). No problem, we were told ... Read more

Some friends and I stayed here for one night and had the best time. When we arrived at the hotel, we went straight to the pool, where an employee immediately greeted us, set up chairs for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. Waiters/waitresses were coming by all the time to make sure we had all the drinks and food we needed. The cocktails were delicious (try the strawberry lemonade mojito!) and the food was great- some of the crispiest, most delicious fries I've had in a long time. The... Read more
