I recently spent four days at Hotel Indigo, and it is a decent place to stay. The staff made my experience a lot better than I thought. They were universally friendly and welcoming, even greeting me when I came in for the evening. And they have Aveda products in the bathroom, which was a major plus in my book! But that can't make up for the deficiencies that result from poor design and renovation. The room I had was small for the price. The lighting was the worst I have ever encountered in... Read more

My son just graduated from Babson College in Wellesley. From first visiting colleges in that are till his graduation, I have stayed at three different hotels in that area. The Hotel Indigo, Boston Marriott Newton, and Courtyard Boston Natick. I have stayed in each at least twice, the two bigger ones three times. The Boston Marriott Newton is my favorite. I booked with the Indigo probably six months in advance. My parents were joining us and I wanted adjoining rooms. We arrived at the hotel... Read more

Hallways are tight and so are the bathrooms. The place is newly renovated and modern. The new pool bar and cabanas are pretty cool and the gym is awesome. Free parking is a huge plus for me and the train station location is great. I like the hardwood floors in the rooms it's a clean and well kept. I got a great price on a 3rd party website it was less than 200.00 for 2 nights. Stay outta the restaurant it's way way over priced.

Spent a night at the Hotel Indigo Boston - Newton Riverside to attend a weekend wedding in the area. Although the front desk was unable to guarantee early check in prior to my arrival, I was able to enter the room well ahead of the 4 p.m. check in time, which was nice. The room itself was beautiful, modern, well-furnished, and spacious. Second time here. First time with kids. Room as tight as can be. We made them remove the furniture. Stayed this weekend for an event with my wife. They overbooked the hotel and stuck us in the same small crowded room with 2 double beds. Not the king size bed we reserved. Terrible. Stay elsewhere.

We went to a workshop at a local college and spent a week here. I booked and double checked my requests were up to date. Low room, etc... We have been to this hotel countless times as we live nearby and have booked this hotel so that we can use their pool. The hotel itself is very nice and about what you expect for 3-4 start hotel in the Boston area. The big issue with this hotel these days is that they have allowed some private company rent out the entire pool on Sundays. Rooms really small as was bathroom, but it was modern and comfortable. The hallways were a bit worn, and doors are thin. The parking area is really hard to deal with if you have a SUV, very tight spaces. The pool area was more like a nightclub, with many business people during happy hour. It seems more like a party hotel, I would not feel comfortable bringing my kids. I used 35,000 points for a night, do not feel this property is at that level.
