We chose the Residence Inn Needham because we wanted a hotel just outside of Boston. It was the perfect choice. It was a very short drive from the Back Bay, even in Friday evening traffic. The hotel seems a little bit out of the way due to ongoing highway construction but it was actually a quick trip to the Needham restaurants. We were delighted with the room. Very new, very sleek and modern. We didn't really need the kitchenette but it was a very nice set-up and would be super convenient... Read more

Newer hotel so everything looks, feels and 'smells' kinda new! Proximity to MIT, Babson, Wellsley, Olin, Harvard is great. We were in Boston on a college hunting trip so it worked out perfectly We had a studio and it was very comfortable and clean. The staff was great too. There is a fee for parking.

The Residence Inn of Needham is a most comfortable and warm place to rekindle the feeling of being "home". The staff is always asking if there is anything they can do to make your stay more pleasurable. Amy at the front desk dropped everything and brought us a bag of ice when we found none in our freezer. Freddy always has a smile on his face and is always able to help with reservations etc. Breakfast is tops! There is a wide selection and the choices are fresh, hot and delicious. Eggs, cereal,... Clean, reliable, - staff was very friendly, especially Freddy on the phone. noisy in the morning, I had a late flight and the Housekeepers started early. Breakfast was very nice, make your own waffles, fresh fruit, good coffee. Kitchenette in Room, no ice machine, however, was very quick to have ice sent up. Trip Advisor headquarters across the Street.

Stayed for a weekend with family. The rooms are large and clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast had lots of options including fresh fruit. I thought I had left something in the room after checking out and Ana at the front desk and Sarah the night manager went above and beyond to help me! I can't thank them enough!! Thank you!!!!

We stayed at the hotel for my cousins graduation. The room was large and the kitchen was great. My 8 month old daughter had plenty of room to crawl around on the floor. The kitchen was great for making and storing her homemade baby food. The breakfast was great and had a little variety. The distance from Boston is not bad at all and its easy to get into the city. I must say I wish the bathroom had a tub versus just a shower for my little one. We made it work though with her inflatable duck tub i... Read more

Excellent rooms, very clean and spacious with lots of plugs. Great temperature control. Friendly and helpful staff. Two tips: 1. housekeeping comes by early, so if you won't be out of there before 8am, put the Do Not Disturb sign on your door. 2. there's no room service, but you can order food at the bar and bring it upstairs. the rooms have proper kitchens with stovetops, utensils and pots, so you can cook as well.

There is a shuttle that will take you to the Newton Highland T stop and pick you back up (only glitch is the shuttle stops running at 8:30) but you could always taxi or uber it back from T stop. (took us 20 mins to get into fenway on T) I thought the price was very affordable for being able to access Boston in late June and free parking is great. The location is sort of in the middle of nowhere. There is a small restaurant where you could grab a beer in the hotel but nothing else I saw within a ... Read more

The Residence Inn Needham is a delightful find just outside of Boston. The hotel has a fresh, modern feel. The front desk staff is warm and helpful. The rooms are well appointed, feel new, super clean, very large with the kitchenette and you have space to spread out -- which is nice especially when traveling on business. Having the kitchenette is a bonus if you want to have some fresh fruit, snack and drinks in your room. You are able to order salads and sandwiches from the bar area that ... Read more

We wanted to stay in a hotel outside of the city, so we pretty randomly chose Needham. This hotel is very, very nice: clean with plenty of amenities! The night we checked in, they happened to be having an ice cream social, which was a very nice treat! The room was nice, the shower was very large and spacious. They have a FREE shuttle to the T stop at Newton Highlands, which was very convenient for getting into the city. We called the hotel when we returned to the station and they sent the... Read more

This hotel is new, fresh, and clean. The staff is great. The breakfast is really good. The rooms are spacious with kitchens. The bed was VERY comfortable. All of it was perfect until 4:00 in the morning when the trucks started rolling in at the coke plant. One truck revved his engine for 45 minutes. I have no idea what that was about but other trucks zoomed in and out all night too. Our office is located in Needham and we booked six or so rooms for two nights. Everyone who was on the side that f... Read more

Hotel was a bit hidden in an industrial section , beautiful inside and polite staff! My only complaint is the demand in breakfast time. No coffee and ran out if breakfast items , lots of people waiting . Small pool but no hot tub. Didn't use work out room but looked nice.

This residence inn, although located in a business complex is quite nice. The lobby is bright and spacious. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are quite large with ample area in the kitchenette area, living space, as well as the bedrooms. Breakfast is your standard hotel breakfast, nothing much to comment. Exercise area is also spacious too. several cardio equipment and gym equipment too. Just outside of the exercise area is a sitting/BBQ place. Also an indoor pool, but I didn't use it, Overa... Stayed here last evening with some friends for an event nearby. The property itself is a bit hard to locate being a bit off the main road but well worth looking for. The place is clean and well kept. The rooms were laid out well and were well appointed. We did have a dog with us and the place is pet friendly. That said we do appreciate that fact and the only reason they did not rate higher was that the pet fee was $100.00 for a room that was $104.00. But they did give our dog a welcome gift whic... Very nice hotel and just had to do the review as this place is directly across the street from the Trip Advisor offices. Nice indoor pool and small work out space. One of the few Residence Inns I have been to that has a bar. Eric who works the bar provides great service. King room I had has a nice curved glass enclosed shower. They only draw back is the light over the desk space is a bit weak. I would definitely return.

This was our second visit to this Residence Inn and we stayed for 4 days and had our daughter and son-in-law with us so we had two suites. The hotel is conveniently located close to our son's home which is just across I-95. We love their wonderful hot complimentary breakfasts which always put us in a great mood for the new day!!! The front desk people, especially Eleanor and Amy, were especially nice and helpful!!! The breakfast crew could use some help in being more friendly...the only ... Read more

This is a very new hotel and is very well appointed. The room was spacious and well appointed with furniture, appliances and plenty of storage. The internet worked well (complimentary) as did everything else. The bath has a curved glass shower door that I thought was pretty cool. There is nothing really of interest in the area, so unless you are visiting TripAdvisor (literally across the street) you will need a car. The breakfast was pretty good and everything was done properly. My only ... Read more
