Quite simply, this is the nicest Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at, and, as a Hilton Honors member, I have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns. The Inn is set back from the road among trees with a beautiful view of the Berkshires on the back side. The inn is 8 years-old, but it looks like it opened yesterday. Our room was immaculate. Unlike other Hampton Inns, their breakfast area was not at all crowded and the second floor balcony that opens onto the area makes it seem larger than it is. The... Read more

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Lenox in a room with 2 Queen Beds. As requested we were offered a quiet room on the upper floor. The front desk staff and every employee were friendly and ready to oblige. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and fully equipped. The pool was a good size at the right temperature. We would have liked a hot tub to relax after sightseeing in the area. The breakfast, included in the price, was good. In ... Read more

In most worlds, this would be a standard Hampton Inn, new-ish, clean, with all the usual amenities. But this one is tucked off the highway in a quiet spot (in fact, you may miss it at first, as only the sign is visible on the main highway and you only see other buildings that are obviously not hotels). Behind the property is a lake with a green mountain behind it. They've put out Adirondack chairs on a lawn looking over the water with its geese and birdlife. A very nice touch. You're also only ... Very comfortable, clean and spacious room and bath. Loved having a real blowdryer that actually dries your hair and can be moved out of the bathroom! The staff was not only welcoming and professional, but seemed to take authentic pride in this hotel, much more akin to innkeepers than many chain hotel employees I've encountered. Lots of parking and seemed very private, but was really just off the main road.

We have stayed at at Hilton Hotels several times during each of the past several years. In fact when we do our travel planning we always look for a Hilton Hampton Hotel. The guest rooms are always well maintained and are sparkling clean. The staff is wonderful. They are friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. I have asked staff people for information about matters related to the local area and they have often gone out of their way to provide my requested information.

I expected a more updated property from the experiences I have had staying at other Hampton hotels. Though it was clean with excellent customer service, it could use something.. not sure what? I would put a make up mirror in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet since it is off the main road. The cookies were the best treat! I would stay again. The breakfast offered has commercial/cafeteria grade faire so fine if you want to just grab something to eat and get out the... Read more

This hotel is a spotless and friendly. It's comfortable and quite aesthetically pleasing. The complete staff is helpful and friendly from managers to janitors! My wife and I were going to Tanglewood to see a concert and the hotel was very convenient to this venue.

We visited after the Brian Wilson concert at Tanglewood in June 2016. It also happened to be Father's Day and the day after our 5th wedding anniversary. Bailey and the staff at the Hampton Inn were gracious, kind, thoughtful, and friendly. Bailey and the staff explained all the amenities at the hotel (including free warm cookies!), recommended a restaurant, and while we were out delivered a complementary bottle of champagne and chocolates to our room. Well played Hampton Inn! You have made ... Read more

The Hampton Inn and Suites Lenox is excellent for lodging needs. The facility is clean, rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is served daily in the dining area. The best feature of this inn is the staff who are warm, friendly and helpful and make the lodging experience one to remember.

The king bed was comfortable. The fridge and microwave worked well. Elevator was jumpy and rough, hold your coffee so it doesn't spill. The parking was easy. Hotel was easy to find. Breakfast was typical. Not good nor bad, but OK.

It is located off the busy road in back of buildings directly on the road. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The knew we were celebrating an important anniversary so they delivered wine and candy to our room with a nice note. The hotel/room was spotless. They have coffee and cookies in the front lobby 24/7. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. We had a room on the top floor with a king bed overlooking the back parking lot and pond. Whoever designed the room did ... Read more

Staying here in the summer Tanglewood season isn't cheap, but the hotel was lovely. Set back from the road, our room had a great view of hills. Rooms were neat, clean, and the king room was particularly spacious. Breakfast had lots of choices, and was kept clean and well stocked. Hotel staff came by to see if everything was ok, and offered restaurant suggestions. About a 10 minute drive from downtown Lenox, and 20 minutes from Tanglewood. Lots of parking, and free cookies and hot beverages... Read more

I had originally booked a room at the Hilton Garden Inn which is just down the street before realizing that the Hampton Inn was 100 dollars cheaper. The hotel is set back off of the main road (Route 20) but it is well marked. Because it's set back - it's quiet. The place was built about 9 years ago and looks fantastic. You'd think it was less than 3 years old. Indoor pool, small work out room, a nice green space behind the hotel with a pond and no development - see my pics. I'd definitely recomm... Read more

This hotel is just perfect if you are visiting Tanglewood. Only minutes away. The hotel is new and modern. The rooms are very comfortable. After a day about town stop for a fresh bake cookie with a cup of coffee!!! Excellent breakfast included. The staff is so helpful, accommodating, and polite. This is our favorite hotel when visiting Lenox

It's no wonder that this hotel received the TripAdvisor certificate of excellence. This is a first rate, well run establishment. From the minute We walked in the door, the staff was helpful and friendly. They allowed us to check in early and even upgraded us to a bigger room. The rooms were clean and neat. The breakfasts, while typical for Hampton Inn, were ample. This venue is in a great location to get to Tanglewood or the Berkshire Theatre Festival. Just for reference, my family and I travel extensively and have stayed at budget hotels and 4 star resorts... but this place exceeded any good service I have ever received. We went here to stay for the James Taylor concert at Tanglewood. The staff was exceptional- always helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to cheer up our toddlers when they were being cranky at breakfast. The front desk, kitchen staff and cleaning crew were all very friendly and helpful. Mattress and linens are old. Linens slipped off saggy mattress. However, hotel staff were accommodating when a room change was needed because of an air conditioner unit that wasn't working in 94 degree heat.

We visit the Berkshires annually and usually stay at the Hampton Inn for location and good service. We are never disappointed with the accommodations and helpful desk clerks. The breakfast is fine for a Hampton Inn too. One suggestion might be to put a comfortable chair in each guest room for reading. The Hampton Inn already provides good wifi service, a refrigerator and a flat screen TV.

Went to visit my grandson at sleep away camp. I chose the Hampton inn because, @ over $200/night, middle of the week, by Bershire standards it was reasonable. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast fare was average for Hampton inns, all acceptable but nothing outstanding. The bed while not wonderful was also perfectly acceptable. The pillows were soft and thankfully standard size, not those huge things that are like another body in the bed. The only thing that was really subpar ... Read more

Great location. Room was spacious and clean. Yummy cookies in the lobby. It was our anniversary and staff were extra attentive and sent up champagne and chocolate with a note. And there was plain yogurt for breakfast which you typically don't see in a hotel buffet.

Three of us travelled to Lenox to attend Tanglewood. We've all stayed in many Hampton Inn's for many years. The service provided at this location was the absolute best we have ever received. Maria--the manager--went out of her way to assure that our stay was way above average. You would have thought we were at the Ritz--her attention to detail was that good. Outstanding customer service. We will stay there again and recommend to others.

Rooms were great. The free breakfast is pretty standard, but nice. The hotel is on U.S. 7, but set back behind a screen of trees, which is nice. The small sign makes it easy to overlook on the first pass, but that's no major complication. The staff was wonderful. I left a camera battery and charger plugged in to the wall when I left, but the clerk at the desk happily retrieved it and held it for me when I called an hour or so after leaving. Best of all were the free cookies, coffee and papers ... Read more

Unquestionably one of our finest B&B stays. We had a suite that was quiet with very comfortable king size bed and choice of shower and whirl tub. Room faced pool which is heated and open 24/7. Hosting very professional meeting guests every question and need. Comprehensive and honest commentaries on local restaurants and services. Breakfasts served in a comfortable dining room and sun porch with home cooked items and standard local breads etc.

This Hampton Inn provided the usual you'd expect from Hampton--clean comfortable room, a nice fitness area and pool and adequate complimentary breakfast. A nice touch was the marshy pond behind the property where there were Adirindack chairs and lounge chairs to sit in and relax, watch the sunset. Friendly front desk service. If you're traveling on a budget you should consider staying here .

My wife and I stayed here in August 2015 and August 2016. We were very impressed. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the room clean and silent. The hotel serves a free full American breakfast, including cereals, rolls, waffles, eggs, bacon and sausage, waffles, yogurt, and much more. The location is 10-15 minutes to Tanglewood, Lenox, and Pittsfield, 45 minutes to the northern part of Berkshire County (Mass MoCA and the Clark Museum, among other attractions), and less t... Our stay at this hotel was pleasing and very good. The only glitch was our room was not made up for two consecutive days when we returned about 4 PM in the afternoon from our travels during the day. Both times we had to let the front desk know as we needed the room for changing for our evening events. The hotel compensated us for the inconvenience without hesitation. The location fit our needs but the property is not what I have experienced at other Holton locations. Some small changes could make the experience much more enjoyable. This could start with the breakfast. Also, I know it is not the fault of the hotel but you had to good outside to make a cell phone call. In today's world this is frustrating.

This is a nice hotel. It is clean and comfortable and the staff are VERY nice and accommodating. The complaint that I have is the way the rates are hiked for the summer. I paid so much more than I should have because I wanted a hotel convenient to Tanglewood. I'm frustrated that it happens (the other area hotels were exorbitant too.) AND there's the two night minimum. For that kind of spending, they should provide a shuttle service to Tanglewood! (free cookies are nice, but . . .) I understand... Read more

Outdoor seating near a pond. Very conveniently located to the wide variety of cultural activities in Lenox, Lee, Becket, Stockbridge, Williamstown.

The Hampton Inn is very convenient to attractions in Lenox and Pittsfield. Also, being right up the street from Guido's, we could pick up our snacks for Tanglewood! That was a perk. We always like Hampton hotels -- the rooms are always comfortable and clean, and include the right amenities.
