This is a good motel at the best location in the Berkshires, I-90 exit 2 - the gateway to the Berkshires. You get a good room with good cell phone service and WiFi. If the complimentary breakfast is too sparse, there's Roses next door which serves excellent omelettes. Friendly's across the street is also very good.

Property needs major update. Bathroom was inconvenient and not handicapped accessible. The room was too small for 2 double beds. H

This was our second stay here. It's a reasonable place in a good location -- close to the Pike and Lenox and Stockbridge and a short walk to downtown Lee, where there are lots of restaurants and shops. This visit we were bothered by the fan constantly turning on and off to heat the room. It was a bit annoying, and neither of us slept well. We did not partake of the breakfast and ate right next door at Rose's. The room was very clean. We would probably stay there again.

The hotel was ok. Just ok. High price for low quality. The bed was horrible. The wallpaper was poorly installed. The bathroom was functional. .. but ugly.

Seemed dated but suitable for an overnight stay off the highway in a quaint town. No elevator. The furniture was old and looked like it came from a thrift shop, we did not use the chair or ottoman. The shampoo dispenser (not a fan of, I prefer sealed individual bottles) was filled with pink hand soap. Did not bother checking conditioner. Complimentary continental breakfast was a joke, luckily the diner next door was excellent.

Front desk people were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was limited but kept clean and replenished. Rooms were clean and maintained. Excellent location for visiting attractions in the area.

Bathroom was nice. Staff was average. Room had a very bad odor upon check-in. Lots of noise from other guests past midnight. Good location off mass-turnpike.

Excellent place. We arrived late/early am and found this place by reading exit signs to lodging.clean, comfortable, good price, accommodating staff. Breakfast;cereal, muffins, toast, toasted waffles, fruit, other rolls. Good enough for a quick start back on the road. Very Nice Place!!!!!!

We were going to a concert in North Adams and Lee was a good midway point between there and home (as well as doing some Outlet shopping). Clean room, no bells and whistles and the staff was super friendly. Air conditioner did what it needed to do to make the room temp comfortable, fridge kept the leftovers cold. All in all, a good weekend.

We used this hotel to overnight after a trip to Tanglewood. The rooms were clean, everything worked and the staff was friendly and competent. The free breakfast was better than I expected, fruit, yogurt and cereal as well as coffee and tea.

Having lived in this area for a number of years, we understand the tourist factor--this is an area that caters to "high end" tourists. In the summer, just about everything is over-priced and very often under-delivered. We were winding up a ten day trip through New England and Pennsylvania... this was the most expensive hotel we stayed in. We were actually pleasantly surprised to find our room quite spacious and well-appointed, complete with microwave and fridge and enough outlets to handle elec... Read more

Very well kept up; nice large room,; nearness to interstate, attractions, grocery store, restaurants; refrigerator/microwave/wifi all pluses--but there's no getting around the fact that this is a VERY expensive MOTEL, not hotel. You pay a high premium for the time of year and location. Highly recommended for location, room size, upkeep, quietness--but big ding on the price.

The room was clean, much cleaner than the one at the Pilgrim Lodge across the street we stayed at three years ago. The mattress was a little firm - my back was a bit sore afterwards. Although it was the least expensive room available for the area on the July 4th weekend, the $238 price tag was way too steep for this room. S138 would have been a fair price.

Clean hotel...can use some updating..Main room was clean and fairly up to date / pleasant decor, bed adequate. Bath room was clean no odors but needed minor updating...cabinetry, caulking, slow sink. Overall the place was more than adequate in a quiet accessible location. Would stay again if not looking for resort type lodging.

Bring own shampoo and conditioner. The dispenser in the shower only gave out a teeny tiny bit for every three or four pumps.

For the most part the room was clean - did find a few popcorn kernels near the A/C unit that were missed by housekeeping. The bed linens, especially the blanket and spread need a face lift. The towels were also very thin. I thought the price was high for the type of hotel and amenities.

While no one would every mistake this Super 8 for the Ritz Carlton, the recent updates have made it a pleasant place to stay. The room is clean and new-looking, the beds are new and mattresses firm, the bedding is clean and cozy and the bathroom unstained. Can't ask for more from a roadside motel. WiFi could be stronger, but it's free and fine for checking email.

I was not sure about booking this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The bathroom was immaculate and the room was very clean. When we checked in we noticed that there was a noise problem with the air conditioner. It was so loud that my friend thought someone was jackhammering outside our room. We had maintenance come and they immediately changed our room, so we wouldn't be inconvenienced, and also changed out the air conditioner. Firstly I would like to point our that this hotel dose not have a pool on it's property as listed on the Trip advisor site. The manager indicated we could use the pool at the Pilgrim Inn across the road. This is not the same as the convenience of having the pool on the same property. Otherwise the hotel was moderately clean and the help was respectful. The Breakfast serves was not adequate in my estimation and should have had more protein type selections such as eggs and sausage for those attemp... Read more

Our room had a terrible sewage smell. The air conditioner did not work; we called the front desk about this and they made excuses about the issue. The wifi did not work properly. Our hotel room seemed very unclean and dirty. We slept and got out as soon as possible. I would have paid more to stay somewhere that was clean BUT the reservation was non-refundable.

Staff was polite and helpful. Room was clean and A/C worked just fine and there was plenty of hot water. However breakfast needs to be better. There was a very limited offering of Yogurt and only 2 kinds of breakfast cereals. Only bread offered was whole wheat and white. Please add some bagels and english muffins to your offerings.

Old style motel with good recent renovations. They do offer "breakfast" that will get you going, but not sumptuous. Good reasonably priced accommodation in a town with outrageous prices. You can walk to the pretty main street with some nice restaurants.

Sheets were marked and beat up. The roll away cot was in horrendous condition, I'd guess it was made in the 1960s. Still, the place was inexpensive (for the Berkshires) during a Tanglewood weekend at $180 (okay, not that inexpensive for a Super 8!!!). But they allowed only 1 night of reservation, check in was easy, and it was a place to rest our heads.

We booked 2 Queen Beds only to receive 2 Double Beds as we were on the second floor. They did say we could move to the lower level, which was not worth the effort. Beware, anything upstairs is only 2 Doubles!!!! The sheets and blankets were very well used, and stained. The room was clean "enough" but not overly impressive and was glad we were only staying one night. However, they did try to space all the guests out, which was nice, as the walls were paper thin. We stayed during a week day. N... Read more

Love the location of this hotel, right in the middle of town with easy access to everything and also to family that we were visiting. Staff was very friendly. Bathroom in our room could have used a little updating / freshening up but we were very happy with our stay overall.

At a first glance this place is a fine place to stay. It is just what it is, an inexpensive motel room. It feels inexpensive and it is. The problem that we had was the blanket had a large white mysterious stain on it. Yuck!
