Due to a recommendation we stayed in Framingham, MA when reserving a place to sleep for a trip to the 2016 Boston Marathon. The main reason we reserved at Red Roof Inn was because there was a shuttle service the day of the race that our daughter could use to get to the race starting line. As it turns out this Red Roof Inn was a great choice for more than the shuttle. While the hotel is older, it was clean and the staff was very accommodating. It took only minutes for them to get us extra towels,... Read more

This was literally the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I did a cross country trip and stayed at quite a few red roof inns, the Framingham location was by far the worst. The staff was beyond rude, the roof smelled as though someone had been smoking cigarettes in it since 1987 (and it was a non smoking room). I tried to make a complaint and asked to speak with the manager. He was equally unhelpful and quite frankly one of the most incompetent individuals I have ever met. I plan to call t... Read more

I stayed here with a friend to attend a conference and we were looking for a place to stay that was a good value. We were initially placed in a smoking room although we had requested a non-smoking room. The smoking room smelled terrible and we called reception and were told to return to get another room. We were then given the room next door to the smoking room, which smelled better but still smelled of smoke. This was our only complaint. The room was simple and clean. We were comfortable there ... I wasn't sure about staying here, but the ratings were good so we tried it. The room was very clean even though it was on the first floor. The receptionist even called us, ten minutes after going into the room, to see if everything was ok, something I haven't experienced even at upscale hotels. No breakfast but the cleanliness and customer service more than made up for it.

My wife and I stay here when we want to save some money while taking in a Red Sox game. We live in NJ, so an overnight is required when spending time in Boston. The Framingham Red Roof places us within easy range of the ball park at a Red Roof price. 4 stars seems like a high mark for such a basic no-frills hotel. But we feel that the location makes it deserve the praise. It is obvious that many other lodgers agree, since the parking lot is usually full of folks bedecked with Red Sox apparel.

In the area for college visits. Perfect location for area schools and getting the commuter rail (West Natick station) to Boston. Clean, easy parking, comfortable rooms. Mall just around corner to walk around in the evening. If you are looking for a destination hotel this is not it. If you want a value hotel for a night or two that is clean, safe and convenient is the place.

MY wife and I, two seniors , stayed at this hotel one night last week. We looked at previous trip advisor comments and were impressed by reviews and the fact that the manager answered comments, each time. For the cost, this is a great value! Nothing fancy but clean, quiet and good location outside Boston, where hotel prices are currently crazy!. Front desk person even let us print out boarding passes! Yazmeen was great at the front desk. She solves a room issue then even helped me with some future bookings. I was impressed by her people skills. Manager Dan came out but she already had things under complete control. I know I was a bit cranky after a 4 hour drive and she had the patience to deal with me and a mistake that was made by my company booking my stay on the wrong night.

We came to Boston to pick up our oldest child and needed a place to stay before the long drive home. We came into the lobby of the inn at about 2 in the morning and were greeted by such a friendly and helpful front desk attendant. She was so sweet and helped us find the best discounts for our room. I don't think that we will be back that way, but if we were i would definitely stay there again!

On Sunday, 7/24, I stopped by the front office to confirm an upcoming 2-week reservation for a family member and saw that there was a power outage that affected the entire property. The staff person on duty, Dana, was patiently explaining to one unhappy guest after another, some of whom were yelling at her because they couldn't take a shower or whatever, that she had reported the problem and was hoping for a resolution soon but that there nothing more she could do -- and suggested they speak th... The room we stayed in was in good repair except for a few things (stains on the chair.) This was the biggest reason I went with Average instead of Very Good- I debated a long time before entering that rating. The bed was good, and the staff in the office were fantastic. We stopped here on our way to Boston where we had an early meeting time. The price was great, and there were stores in the area if needed. Another disappointment was there is no hairdryer. After looking around on Trip Advisor, i came across the Red Rood Inn in Framingham. Boy am i glad I did. Its located about 18 miles outside of Boston. It has easy access to the Mass Pike, less than 1/2 mile off the highway. Right next door was a Dunkin Donuts, also nearby was a gas station and other restaurants within a mile including Olive Garden. The room was quaint, small, and by morning very stuffy. The wifi was good, but the people outside and around were *very* loud. The air conditioner worked well, the television worked well, the shower worked well, but I wish the room had a couple more towels without asking for them at the front desk. Cheep place to stay if only for a night, would not stay here for more than that.

Stayed here because, even as a platinum Marriott, could not get other last minute bookings. Very efficient check-in; they collected payment for the full stay up front instead if at checkout. Interesting retro room design with large windows to the main balcony/passageway, with curtains that open on the room similar to peep shows in Amsterdam (or so I have heard). The maid left a prominently displayed tip envelope with a recommended normal daily tip expectation. I may be wrong about an associa... Read more

I stayed here while visiting Boston, and it's nice hotel for the price. The front desk staff is very friendly and the rooms were clean. A few staff members went over and above to help us with a few things. It would be nice if the standard rooms came with the usual things like an iron or hairdryer, but you can easily pick them up at the front desk. The Dunkin Donuts right next door makes it easy to grab breakfast and get on the road.

We stayed in a deluxe king room. Very clean. The hotel has been there for many years and is somewhat dated. It appeared to have been upgraded a bit. I will say that the walls aren't soundproof and at times the smoke smell from cigarettes in areas near us permeated our room. We were greeted warmly and efficiently. Dunkin Donuts is right next door and there's a handy path for access so you can walk over for a morning Munchkin or 2. Will stay there again.

This was booked for me as part of a business trip. I will advise my travel company to never book this type of accommodation again. Basic is the nicest word I can use to describe this place. Please don't use their website to make your choice, trust me. This is at best a Motel, at worst a truckstop. Maybe coming from Europe I expected more, but this place fails on every standard. The first room we were given was not ready. When I walked in there were towels on the floor and the bed had not been changed. I went back to the office and was given another room. A while after we had been in the room a man came walking along the balcony, peered into our room, walked on and turned around to come back. We arrived very late in the night and were disappointed to find only 2 towels in the room. The baseboard in the bathroom was peeling away exposing a hole to heavens knows where. The fan in the bathroom had a high pitched squeal whenever the bathroom light turned on. The kids bed had stained sheets. Highly recommended. You get what you pay for (in a positive sense): for a reasonable price, you get a very clean, adequate but no frills (i.e., no hair dryer, iron, breakfast apart from coffee/juice, fancy bath creams) place to stay that is surprisingly close to Wellesley College by car. Also welcomes pets (and the rooms showed no indication of pets). Next door to a Dunkin' Donuts, so no breakfast is irrelevant. Attentive staff.

I'm receiving cancer treatment in Boston and travel from Albany NY. We stay at least 9 days at this hotel a month. It's only a 30+/- minute drive in, great location, there is lots of great shopping and restaurants near the hotel, and it is so much more affordable than the hotels near the hospitals. The hotel staff/management is excellent so customer oriented, it is clean, quiet and very comfortable. I highly recommend the Red Roof here in Framingham.

The Red roof is a convenient no frill hotel that provides value for money and is easily accessible from I-90. Though complimentary coffee is available in room and at front office, no breakfast is available. Fortunately Dunkin Donuts (open 24 hours) is next door, so this is not really an issue. Parking is available close to the rooms (this is only a 2 storey structure).
