Hotel was bright, friendly, and clean. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was nice and cozy. Gym facility was very up to date. Breakfast was a bit on the lean side but for the value, I really can't complain! Would definitely recommend.

Clean and comfortable hotel room. Very convenient location to shopping and "things to do" in area. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Wonderful coffee service. Disappointed that the swimming pool closes at 7pm. It'd be nice to take a swim after a long, hot day of sightseeing and visiting. Reasonably priced accommodations.

The staff is helpful and willing to please. The hotel shows signs of wear and the being in one of the lower tier Hilton categories. Towels were thin and rough. If you wanted more than one towel/person you had to ask. Pillows were uncomfortable. Yet it is the only choice in town unless you rent a house, stay in a B&B or go to New Bedford.

Closest location for a reunion with friends. Stay was fine, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms and dining areas were clean. Good signage; it was easy to find off the highway. Location was in country, but near shopping for necessities like gasoline.

Fairhaven Hampton Inn is very convenient when we visit family in the Acushnet area of MA. But we wouldn't stay if, in addition to convenience, it wasn't also clean, welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. It's pleasant and comfortable and the folks who work at the Hampton Fairhaven are lovely to deal with.

I get here about once a year and the staff are always very accommodating. Property is always very clean, bright and well kept inside and out. Location safe and quiet at night. This trip I ended up in a King Suite which the extra room therein made for a very comfortable stay. When I spent time in the room it didn't have that closed in feeling that at least I get when staying in a typical hotel room.

The location is very good for visiting many locations near New Bedford. The hotel was so clean it felt new. The staff were exceptional. The rooms were spacious, clean without over powering air fresher smell. The bathrooms were spotless with clean grout and floor tiles. The beds were OK but could have been a bit substantial in their support.

Husband and I stayed here on a trip to visit family in area. It was just what we needed. We booked thru Hilton Honors program, which is very easy to use. We called to tell them we would be checking in late, the place was quite full, so we were upgraded to a king suite upon check in. Room was clean, and fresh. Front desk staff was helpful. Room had all the amenities one would expect, I had requested extra pillows and they were on the bed waiting for us.

I wasn't asked to do a review, I wanted to, as I really appreciate the people at the Hampton Inn. After flying overnight from California into Boston on a red-eye flight, I got my rental car and drove to Fairhaven, about 90 minutes away. I was in town for a meeting, and wanted to fly in early enough to visit both Lizzie Borden's place and spend the day in Martha's Vineyard, which meant I needed to be near a ferry terminal. Very conveniently located, near the New Bedford sea streak ferry, and nice clean large room for a one night stay. Good beverage station, missed the breakfast, wish it ran til 11am instead of 10am. Great location of this hotel near many area attractions. Excellent restaurant choices within almost walking distance of this hotel. Rooms were quiet, clean and updated. Can't believe that rooms were available during the height of the summer travel season for a location that is so close to the Cape and the ocean. Hotels near the Cape charge much more than this hotel, so booking here was an easy decision and without regret. Would gladly stay here again when in the area.

Nothing much to tell here. It's a Hampton in. A bit pricey but there were a lot of weddings going on. Its located walking distance to most of the NB restaurants etc. Nothing particularly appealing about this hotel though. Its cookie cutter Hampton Inn. Rooms are fine. AC is too loud. A typical Hampton Inn -- clean, friendly, free breakfast. Totally lacking personality, but at least you know what you're getting at Hampton. Everything was ok, but the beds were uncomfortable. Narrow for a "double" bed - husband and I could not comfortably sleep next to each other so we split with the kids - and the bed was actually hard...not firm, but hard. Consistently high character in every way, the Hampton Inn is my favorite home away from home.
