I stayed at this Courtyard for 2 nights while in the area on business. There was plenty of free parking. At check in I asked if the fitness center was open 24/7. I was told that it did not open until 6:00 a.m.. This is because the fitness room is located right next to a guest room. I asked if the fitness room could be opened up early for me; I promised I would not turn on the TV or use the treadmills. The clerk said that she would check with the guest who was in the room next to the fitnes... Read more

First time in that area we thought it s in the middle of nowhere but we found out it's a mall very close to the hotel. Hotel is nice and cozy, clean and quite unless the visitors are loud. Breakfast is $+ and coffee terrible. Suggestion to walk 5 min from the hotel and it's Panera bread or other things to eat . We visited Boston and took the train to Beverly which is 15 min away from the hotel. From the train station we took a taxi and it cost us $11 . Very convenient.

This was the worst stay I have ever had. First, the front desk staff is rude. Second, the hotel had zero water... I was forced to switch to another Marriott and the front desk refused to give me my money back or transfer me to another hotel. So I ended up paying double. The Manager never even apologized... avoid this Marriott!! Stay in the Peabody Marriott!!! This Courtyard is a disgrace to the Marriott brand!

It's not your typical courtyard as it looks like a renovated building but it was great. Clean nice rooms. Good business center area. Parking was plentiful which I appreciated. Really liked its proximity to shopping and Panera. Staff nice.

I do not expect I high end stay at a courtyard, but I do expect it to be a clean and well maintained room. I stayed at older properties and although the room needed updated it was basically clean. We stayed at this hotel one night. The service was fine and the room was equipped with a roll-a-way bed as we requested. However, I knew we were going to be disappointed as soon as we came into the hotel. The front hotel entry way had a bunch of plastic over some peeling paint. Then when we got to the ... Read more

This Courtyard seems to be newly renovated and is immaculate. It's location is convenient to all of the Boston North Shore communities and is easily reached from the highway. There are a lot of dining choices in the surrounding area as well. The room was sparkling clean and well supplied. The check in staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Despite it being so close to the highway in a heavily congested area, the room was very quiet. The only reason I did not give it an exceptional rating ... Read more

In summary if you are traveling for business or pleasure in the North Shore of Boston and you do not stay at this hotel, you are wasting your money and losing out on an enjoyable Marriott experience. I work for a US oil company traveling the world and staying at over 75 days a year in hotels, the Marriott Courtyard in Danvers is the best. The hotel property is located at a great location for both business and touring the North Shore but the talented Marriott hotel team is what makes me perpetual... Read more

Stayed for 1 night. Located ~15 mi north of Logan Airport in Danvers. You have to take all surface streets. Adjacent to a shopping mall and Home Depot. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The parking is free. The room was clean but modestly appointed. The room felt compact to me. Rooms seemed renovated. The bed was too soft for me.

The King room we had was REALLY small. It was hard to get in and out of bed since the bed was so close to the wall. We had our daughter with us and once the couch pulled out into a bed, there wasn't room for suitcases, or even to walk. She had to keep her suitcase under the desk. The room was way to small for 3 people, and just in general. My son stayed in an adding room with my parents, and it had 2 queen beds. It was much larger than the King room we had. Breakfast was excellent, although ver... Read more

The small room we were given at least was clean. The decor was from the eighties. Many broken tiles in the bathroom. The carpet was burned even though the hotel is non smoking. Beds are too soft and the pillows smell like sweat. The place really needs a remodel.

We stayed here to be close to Manchester by the Sea, it was only 15 minutes away and worked out great. The staff is very pleasant. Room was really clean although a bit small for the three of us. My 12 year old loved the outdoor pool. Very close to stores and restaurants if you need them. Mini fridge and coffee in the room and Starbucks downstairs... what more do you need?

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days while visiting family. Had a European feel to it, smaller room, but nicely laid out with king bed plus sofa and coffee table and beverage bar. We were pleased until we returned to our room late on day 2 and the room had not been touched since we had left that morning. We did contact the supervising manager and she cleaned the room herself while we waited in the lobby. She also issued us a partial credit for the inconvenience. The only place for coffee and b... We were tired and ready for a good nights sleep. There were no Hilton properties that were not booked, hmm that says something right there. The guy that checked us in was great, we left to get something to eat so we could get back and get some sleep after our 1200 miles from SC. When we returned we smelled sewage really strong in the hallway, when we opened our door the smell was awful. When we went to the desk you could tell that this was something they had already dealt with, why then were we ... Read more

Every year we visit this great hotel a few times and have always enjoyed it immensely. It is always quiet and very clean. The staff is outstanding! Cheri and Dotty and the whole team there are very dedicated to helping their customers enjoy their stays. The hotel has a very good bistro and bar and a really enjoyable outdoor pool. The pool, I believe, will be open for another week or so, but please check. The premises are a short walk to Liberty Tree Mall and a short drive to North Shore Mall. T... Read more

The hotel was fine enough - a standard, run of the mill "hotel". The small room was clean and the parking lot near empty - yet the price of the room was extraordinarily high-- for a suburb of Boston overlooking the back walls of a target and home depot parking lot. We spoke with one of the 'customer service' representatives to discuss an early check in. Not only was she NOT helpful, but rude and dismissive. Visitors beware - find a different place to stay.

Just returned from a business trip and had a nice stay. Appears to have recently been remodeled. Rooms were clean, hotel was quiet. I can't speak to the food but it looked like a nice, although small cafe. Near the North Shore mall that had good shopping. This is now my top choice of the 4 hotels that I have stayed at in the area.

Great hotel to stay for an overnight in Salem. Reasonable priced. Uber to Salem. The restaurant was a little off , unorganized workers for breakfast and a terrible drink selection from the bar but all in all a good stay.

We stayed here to move-in our son into freshman year at Gordon college. The hotel is near the Liberty Tree mall, walking distance 3-5 minutes, where you will find cafes to eat. The hotel is about 7 minutes to Gordon college, they have a special rates for Gordon families. Nice quiet hotel, staff are helpful, they have a small café, good for breakfast. They have a list of restaurants they can recommend for dinner or delivery to your room. No bellman at the hotel. Help yourself with luggage... Read more

We got a very nice room on the first floor. Small, but nicely laid out so perfect for sleeping but not for a long period or with kids. Am sure they must have other rooms more suited for this. The hotel is located among warehouses in the rear of a shopping mall so location is not optimal, but who cares if just a place to crash? Still, nothing in walking distance so a car is imperative.
